The all-inclusive package at Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali includes the following:

  • Breakfast served at the Grand Café (7am to 10.30am) with breakfast boxes available (one-day prior notice required). Breakfast is served in Ibu Kitchen for Family Paradise Wing guests
  • Lunch served at either the Grand Café (12noon to 3pm), Jukung, Mahi-Mahi or Chopstick, with lunch box available (one-day prior notice required)
  • Dinner buffet served at the Grand Café (7pm to 10pm) or themed buffet at Rama Stage. Other dinner options include Julie’s Italian, a set menu at Bumbu Delhu or Ibu Kitchen
  • In-room dining for dinner (7pm to 10pm)
  • Afternoon tea and coffee buffet near the Mango Parlor Terrace (4pm to 6pm)
  • 30% discount on premium menu items such as lobster and prawn

We recently stayed at the Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali, and it truly delivered a full-scale resort experience—especially for families. The resort is quite large, with multiple pools and plenty of kid-friendly sections, which made it perfect for our family stay. Our son had an absolute blast on the various pool slides, which cater to different ages and confidence levels. There was always something fun for him to do. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. The buffet spread was enormous—easily the largest variety we've seen at any resort. It covered an impressive range of cuisines, from Western to Asian and everything in between. We actually had to walk around first to map out what we wanted to try before filling our plates! The resort manages to balance its size with thoughtful layout and attentive service. It never felt overcrowded, and the staff were always helpful and welcoming. It’s a fantastic option for families looking for a blend of relaxation and activities, all in one place.

An excellent all inclusive resort. Rooms are comfortable. All day dining available. Buffet meals are awesome. Also has a seafood and Indian restaurant. Two pools including an infinity pool. Small gym and play room. Staff is efficient and courteous. Easy accessibility to beach. Cocktails and cocktails are a must try. Good for a holiday with friends and family

NB: This review has been edited. I initially did a 1 star review after my first few days at the resort but have changed to 3 stars at the end of my stay. Due to a series of events, my friend and I were upgraded to a newer room and management tried to resolve the issues we raised during our stay (see original review below for context). This however did not resolve the fundamental issues I feel remain at the resort. - Communication by staff and management to guests remains lacking. - The resort did not respond to issues in a way that led me to believe they would make long-term changes. I will say this, the newer rooms are lovely and what I would expect for the price I paid. It's just unfortunate that I was only given one due to my experiences. (Old review: Would not recommend. Paying for all-inclusive and not worth it. Wi-fi doesn't work, no ice available until 11am, no smart TV, no 24 hour restaurants (room service is 24 hours but the main cafe which is meant to be 24/7 and have afternoon tea facilities is only open morning and evening), no bars in air conditioning. I've stayed in cheaper places with better facilities. Service is ok. A few amazing staff but most don't know about the resort when you ask questions. We wanted to try the VR in the games room and the staff said they did not know how to turn it on or set it up.) TLDR: Wouldn't say the resort or overall experience felt 5-star more so 3-4 star but all inclusive food and drinks were great.

We had a fantastic stay at the family paradise side of the resort. Lots of activities to keep the kids engaged & great premises. Clean, modern, well maintained & very well thought out architecture. Staff is extremely courteous, always cheerful & so very helpful & accomodating. Both the swimming pools were a hit with the kids & so many activities in the kids club. Fun movie nights for kids with popcorn. Also there are themed dinners at the restaurants & we enjoyed some wonderful bands singing, cabaret dances & a superb fire dance show. Private beach access & so many water sports activities to keep you engaged.

Booked the all inclusive package for a weeks stay. Rooms are average, little confused why we were placed in the main section when specified at booking have a 4 year old. I would of thought we would be at a the family side. One day I did over 10,000 steps walking to my room and family pool. Breakfast is standard, lunch the same and dinner the portions are super small. Don't feel I'm receiving value for money. At 8.20pm room service turned up to clean the room. Spilt Ice cream around the pool, smelt disgusting and no one bothered to clean it up. Waiting staff are extremely slow and English isn't the best. I've been to Bali multiple times pre Covid. Can honestly say i think the service and value for money isn't what it was. Over 4K for 8 nights all inclusive but yet it's not all inclusive as drinks are limited alongside food. 100% also don't eat at the family pool food was disgusting. It would of been cheaper to do a east coast trip from Perth and nice food/ hospitality. Really disappointed.
