Just checked out from Grand Hyatt Bali and here is my review: The breakfast is below average. I’ve stayed at far cheaper resorts in UAE that offer much better quality and variety. For the price they charge here, it was absolutely disappointing. Also we were two groups of friends staying in two rooms. Each room got a free photo voucher upon check in, and we wanted to take one group picture together. Turns out because some “terms & conditions” apply, we should merge the vouchers if we want to take a group photo. So basically, the more you pay for separate rooms, the fewer services you get. Which makes zero sense. The staff were extremely slow. Ordering coffee and food takes forever to be delivered. Then upon complaining they smile and say “they understand” and then do absolutely nothing about it. Common sense does not exist in this resort. Upon checking in, instead of holding an amount for a mini bar (it actually did not exist in my room), they deducted (instead of authorization) 2 million IDR from my account as deposit. Upon check out, I request the release. They were confused for half an hour. Wanted to deduct breakfast from it (for which I already paid upon check in) and for each simple stage I had to have an argument to make them understand the point. So they finally requested my physical card to return the deposit and they did. The area itself is beautiful, but that’s because it’s Bali not because of the resort or its management. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting five-star service.

A great family friendly hotel, pools are wonderful with some nice shade over the water. Nusa Dua is much quieter than other places, it's about a 15 min walk to local restaurants. The garden rooms are great, we've been here a few times and it's always been great.

We recently stayed and enjoyed the all-inclusive package booked through Luxury Escapes. The large pool areas, along with slides, kept the kids entertained all day. It was nice being able to alternate between pool and beach settings, wander through the well kept grounds utilise the gym and unwind with a massage in the spectacular Kriya spa area. The breakfasts were exceptional as was the service.

I can see the appeal of this property for some travellers, but it wasn't really for us. The experience was best summed up as a cruise ship on land or club med-esque. While there were plenty of activities for everyone, especially children, the property felt very tired and detached from the cultural experience that Bali offers. For example, local dishes had their names translated to English descriptions, which could be very appreciated by some tourists, but immediately loses its local touch and could be any hotel around the world that serves a predominantly English-speaking crowd. Also, the room did not meet our expectations of a Grand Hyatt. For example the light and power socket placements and an almost empty tissue box (only two pieces which were used for the decorative triangle).

Amazing Service from Ari at the Grand Hyatt Bali I had an incredible stay at the Grand Hyatt Bali, and a big part of that was thanks to Ari from the pool team. He went above and beyond every single day - always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Whether it was setting up towels, offering drinks, or just checking in with a big smile, Ari made our time by the pool truly relaxing and enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work and makes guests feel so welcome. Ari’s genuine care and positive attitude really stood out. The resort itself is beautiful, but it’s the people like Ari who make it unforgettable. Grand Hyatt Bali - please make sure Ari never leaves! He’s an absolute legend and a huge credit to your team
