I have been meaning to write this review for some time. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Abu Dhabi for seven nights in November 2025, and it was without doubt one of the most incredible hotels — if not the best five-star hotel — we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the moment we arrived at the main doors, where our luggage was promptly and kindly taken care of by the concierge, to the warm and professional reception team, everything was absolutely seamless. The entire week was simply amazing — the location, the views, the food, the pool, the amazing suite, and most importantly the staff. Every single detail was top class. In fact, our experience was so exceptional that we have already planned our return visit for 2026, and this time we’ll be staying for a full two weeks. A special and huge thank you to Krischan Knoll, who acted so quickly in alerting the housekeeping team when my beloved necklace was accidentally left behind in our suite after we had already checked out. And also to the lovely Sara Saleh (Guest Relations Manager) who kindly helped to arrange the safe delivery of this precious item back to me. Sara was an absolute joy to chat to throughout our entire holiday and always greeted us with the biggest smile, a true credit to the hotel. For me, the care, honesty and kindness shown in recovering such a special and sentimental piece of jewellery even after we'd departed and were 2 days back in the uk before I even realised, it truly meant the world to me. I am forever grateful and very much look forward to personally thanking you all when we return in March. Thank you again for a truly wonderful stay — we cannot wait for our next visit. An exceptionally beautiful and well-appointed hotel in a prime location, featuring an impressive entrance area and stunning rooms with wonderful bathrooms and many thoughtful details that truly delight. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the service is outstandingly friendly and attentive. The gym is superbly equipped. The only minor point worth mentioning is the relatively small beach; however, it was never crowded, and we always found a sunbed immediately. We would especially like to highlight Elle from the Philippines and Shaima from Egypt in the lobby, who took wonderful care of us and made us feel truly welcome and at home. Thank you very much — we would be delighted to return.

We stayed for 6 nights at this most comfortable place. From the entry into the lobby to the beautiful designed rooms and the outstanding service this hotel really met and exceeded our expectations. All the staff is most helpful and in particular BRENDA from the Pearl Lounge made our afternoon tea a very special and memorable experience. The Pool is large and nicely heated and well serviced. The rooms are super clean, have an outstanding bathroom with a view and offer smoking on the balcony, which we appreciated. The food at the breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was always at hand and very kind. The bars and lounges offered a good selection of wines ans cocktails and were very well furnished. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay which was made even more special by the outstanding efforts of their staff. Thank you for that. We will definitely be back! "The Vikings"

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was extremely clean, calm, and luxurious. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay—the room, the restaurant, and the lobby were all perfect. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back again. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

The hotel is old and very expensive — it’s not worth the money. The room was comfortable, but that was about it. When opening the drawers in the room, there was a smell of old wood. What I disliked the most was the breakfast area and the food. The terrace area had dirty tables and was extremely crowded, like a cafeteria. The food quality was poor and it didn’t taste good. On the evening we checked in, we were tired and decided to eat at the hotel. We paid almost €100 for one adult and one 8-year-old child, and it was the worst and most expensive meal of the entire stay. Only Chinese food poorly cooked. I love Chinese food but this was not good. In addition, there were guests of other nationalities staying at the hotel. My child ate fried chicken and French fries — for that kind of money. During our 7-day stay, at breakfast we didn’t see a single local dessert — only frozen pastries.
