The entertainment crew was amazing and always had something for us to do. Made us all feel very welcomed and made this trip very enjoyable. This resort always has something to do, making sure everyone is being involved the whole time. You get to have fun and relax here; with everyone being so kind and sweet to you. All the restaurants and buffets are phenomenal with great service, kind servers, and delicious food. The variety was amazing and we couldn’t get enough of all the food and drinks here. The bars are awesome too! I highly recommend this resort to anyone traveling to the Dominican Republic!

My recent stay at Bahia Principe La Romana was nothing short of delightful, highlighted by exceptional culinary offerings and exemplary service from a number of staff members who made the experience unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality emblematic of the Dominican Republic enveloped me.
The gastronomy at Bahia Principe was a standout, a true culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean. Special mention must go to Luis, whose omelets are unrivaled throughout the DR, a must-try for any visitor.
Among the remarkable staff, Ramon Reyes deserves particular praise. He was a ubiquitous presence, ready to assist at any moment with a boundless energy and a constant smile that made our stay extraordinarily pleasant. I found myself inquiring about his secret to maintaining such vigor and positivity, to which he simply attributed his dedication to ensuring guests have the best experience possible.
Additionally, Hugo, Aurora from reception, and one of the breakfast managers, whose name currently escapes me, all provided outstanding, personalized service that made us feel truly welcome.
While the culinary experiences were exceptional, it was the genuine warmth and professionalism from the staff that truly made my stay special. Despite a longing for more consistent cheerfulness from all staff members, similar to previous visits, the team’s dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout our stay.
A brief misunderstanding with a lifeguard over pool hours was the only minor setback in an otherwise perfect visit. This incident underscored the importance of continual improvement in communication and customer service. Nonetheless, this did not detract from the overall positive experience and the exceptional service provided by many.
The beach area, while charming, presents opportunities for enhancement to elevate the guest experience even further. Continued efforts to clear the water and reduce mud would undoubtedly make this natural feature even more inviting.
Bahia Principe La Romana transcends the typical resort experience, melding exceptional dining, remarkable staff, and the captivating allure of the Caribbean into a tapestry of unforgettable memories. I eagerly anticipate my return, not only to revisit the familiar, welcoming faces and the exceptional hospitality but also to see the evolution of the resort, especially in its beach area, ensuring every visit is better than the last.

Overall a good experience, but needs work on certain details. My bathroom door did not locked and was not fixed. I’m a privilege club member and got a very small room with a very small TV. Not what I was expecting with the amount of money that was invested. We are four in my family I kept getting 3 towels, I had to get pool towels. The pool was not cleaned; I should know, I’m a facility/property manager. However the staff was great.

The hotel and staff are great and the rooms are nice, large and well maintained however water pressure is terrible. The food is excellent. The swimming pool is large and very clean. The beach is horrible with a light dusting of sand that covers the corral that lies underneath. Playing volleyball will in fact cause you injury. The hotel itself if a perfect size that allows you to get around without walking a marathon or waiting around for a cart to transport you. Overall, nice vacation but if you’re a beach seeker, this isn’t for you!

Great bang for your buck. Food is excellent. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great beach (yeah, its not crystal clear, but alas life is still good there). Kid friendly - we had a 2 year old and 4 year old. Small airport is nice. Really, all around great resort. Everything is easily walkable, which was a nice change from the larger resorts.
