Our first stay here. We are a couple with a 3 year old and a 4 month old. Half way through our stay. So far great experience. Great hotel with good service and great breakfast and dinner buffets. The gym is good and the beach is close. The kids room/nursery at the hotel could have longer opening hours (it's open just a couple of hours per day) but the Mini Disco for kids at 8 in the evening is the best and Stephanie is amazing with kids of all ages. And the parents get to join and play as well. We look forward to more mini discos and highly recommend them. The hotel pools are big and nice but can be a little cold for toddlers. All in all a great hotel and we will most likely stay here again in the future.

I am sad to be leaving Spain after a wonderful week at Gran Tacande. I spent a week here alone and cannot recommend it enough. ALL of the staff are super helpful and friendly, the services excellent and the Spa is probably the best Spa I’ve been to. With my package I spent 2-3 hours a day there and it was wonderful, I regret not having treatments but there are only so many hours in the day! The hotel is in great location for the beach and whilst I didn’t go out at night I always felt safe here. I have a gluten allergy and the staff were knowledgeable and accommodating which was such a breath of fresh air. Whilst I didn’t partake in the entertainment, there was a full program of events daily and the Gold level pool area was peaceful and had excellent service. The room was super comfortable and I would highly recommend having the balcony hot tub. Thanks so much to all the staff for making my week relaxing and easy, I would highly recommend a visit and would definitely consider a return trip.

This is such a wonderful hotel. The position is ideal for immediate access to the promenade and beach. The saltwater pools are great and plenty of sunbeds to be had at any time of the day (no wars!!). The staff are extra friendly and helpful across all areas and it is nice to be remembered as a returning customer. Food selection is especially varied and more than sufficient both at breakfast and dinner with unique cooking stations offering freshly cooked items. Dinner is particularly varied and the desserts are to die for! Overall we look forward to our stays and can’t wait to return.

We have had a fantastic stay at this very beautiful hotel. Just moments from the sea, restaurants and stores yet peaceful and serene. The gold level swim up room set in the San Sebastian area was fantastic. The food was excellent, albeit they could label the food a little more clearly with allergens/contents which was a little hit and miss at dinner time. Staff were very attentive and friendly, as was the hotel manager who gave us a very warm welcome. Overall a lovely hotel that we would return to.

Staff are so lovely. I would like to make a special mention for Cris who looked after us each morning at breakfast. Food is excellent. Really easy to get a subbed. We had a suite and room was lovely and spacious only downside was we didn’t have a double bed it was 2 singles pushed together and my hubby kept falling down the middle. Overall a lovely hotel with really friendly staff and fantastic location
