Stayed here for a week first time staying in Gran oasis, start of by saying we had a lovely upgrade and bottle of fizzy upon our arrival and swans made out of towels what was so thoughtful and beautiful! We appreciate it so much! Only issue with the rooms are they are so worn out our lights were handing of wall and wire hanging out ceiling and hand rail to stairs hanging of also lots more issues. The pool area was lovely however no where to sit as people put towels down at 6/7am!!! This should not be aloud not fair to others. The food was very very disappointing as was either undercooked or made us ill they should have a bigger restaurant for the amount of rooms they have and make sure its freshly cooked. Bar is a blast got so much to choose from till late at night, Miguel what a guy made our stay so much better went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy - honestly so lucky to have a guy like him in the hotel hes amazing!!! The gentleman that welcomed us to dinner most days was so kind also and always smiley. The rest of the staff on the other hand were so rude and clearly not happy. Games room everything is broken and no one was maintaining it even staff said they know its broken - dont bother wasting money in there. Entertainment was not our style but expect the same everynight pretty much. Overall our stay was ok but we will not be returning as paid alot of money and all these downfalls made us not want to return.

Coming back to Gran Oasis for the fifth year in a row, we still love it very much! We're always greeted with smiles, and we're extra happy to see Renate is still here! Even though the hotel is rather close to the ocean, we tend to stick around to the pool areas, which are always in excellent condition. Sun beds are plenty and it's not too crowded. A nice upgrade this year was the entertainment area which has been totally rebuilt, with a large scene and comfortable chairs/sofas. It wouldn't be a proper review without mentioning the rooms. Not that we use then very much because we really only sleep there, but they are spacious with great beds and always perfectly clean. Saving the best for the last, the food! Excellent does not cover it! We travel alot and have tried many similar family hotels, but Gran Oasis is the best! From breakfast to lunch to dinner, even though you're not hungry, you just always look forward to the food! There is one area of the hotel which we have not tried out yet, and that is the aqua land for the smallest kids. Next year we'll be back with our first grandchild and look forward to reviewing that too.

WOW... we had an amazing trip in September as part of an organised fitness retreat with around 20 people in our group... The reservations team were amazing, a BIG THANK YOU to Sara for making our stay! In fact, a BIG THANK YOU too to all staff members are very welcoming and helpful. 2 bedroom suite was awesome, beds comfortable, bathroom up to date, cannot fault! Food was plentiful and of a very high standard with a huge choice every day. Would highly recommend this hotel and would without hesitation stay again!

Nice accommodation, clean and well maintained. Staff are excellent, very pleasant and always willing to help. Food was nice, plentiful and varied. Drinks menu was just as good and the bar staff first class. The only problem we had as a family of 17 with ages ranging from 2yr to 65 yr was the location. 30 min walk to the beach with steep hills. Having said that the taxi service was impressive, lots of them and reasonably priced. Also a shuttle bus was available at certain times.

We visited the Hotel in July on the first week of the school summer holidays and we all had the most amazing time, so much so we booked to visit again the following year before we had even flown home. Everything was faultless - the room was spacious and cleaned every day, the facilities were superb and the food was amazing. There was so much variety and it was cooked fresh in front of your eyes at every meal time. But what made our stay particularly special were the staff, without exception everyone we encountered, from the moment we checked in were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Carlos, Renate, Luis, Vera and Marina who were all so happy and friendly, my little boy who was only 5 loved practicing his Spanish with you all by saying hola! and giving his room number at the restaurant. We cannot wait to come back and see you all again next year!
