We stayed at Gran Castillo Tagoro Family & Fun, Playa Blanca, and sadly it didn’t live up to its 5-star rating. While our family room was spacious and the location convenient, too many details let it down. Bath towels were tiny, the shower leaked all over the floor (unsafe for little ones), and the fridge was empty, small things that make a big difference in a supposedly 5 star hotel. The buffet food was average, with limited variety and very little that felt local. As a gluten-free family, we had to pre-order each meal hours in advance, choosing our dinner during lunch, which took the enjoyment out of dining. No menus were provided, and when food arrived, it wasn’t of the quality expected for the price. Facilities also looked tired compared with the photos, and service often felt stretched. When we raised concerns with Jet2 and the hotel, we received only a generic chatbox reply. The hotel later sent a letter, but when we went to reception to speak with the manager, we were asked to wait, after 15 minutes, no one came, so we gave up and went back to enjoy our holiday. It didn’t feel professional or guest-focused. Overall, it was fine, but definitely not a 5-star experience. With better food, more attention to detail, and genuine customer care, this hotel could be so much more, but for now, it just misses the mark.

A little walk to The Marina, 20 minutes on a lovely coastal path. Hotel is immaculately clean. Hotel team all appear happy in their work. Food ....yes sometimes a little cold, but could heat in microwave, always something nice to choose ....smoothies for breakfast, sushi, salmon, prawns, ribs ...different theme each night. Pool areas nice ....lots of small children which was a bit of a shock at this time of year ....also they have to pay for adventure land, so that area was quiet and the main pool busy ....such a shame for families as this should be included in the package. Stayed HB and could upgrade to AI for 25euros pp per day. Local bars, restaurants, shops, supermarket next door in shopping centre.......definitely would stay again as the climate was perfect 23° most days!

We took our two young children away for their first holiday and this was the perfect choice! We decided to go all inclusive which was a great idea because the amount and variety of food on offer was amazing. Each night the restaurant had a different cuisine theme as well as regular favourites and staples such as pizza and pasta. The pools were perfect and so clean; the different areas and activities by the pool were great too. Whilst we didn't use the kids club, all the children looked happy and our children were invited to join in the public events. It has been the perfect holiday. All the staff have been so friendly and welcoming and the room was cleaned spotlessly every day! Thank you!

Had a great stay here in the adventure part of the hotel. It's perfect for kids and the animateurs are very sweet with the kids, especially Paula. The pools and kids entertainment spaces are unmatched and really make the stay unforgettable for the kids. I also want to mention that the live clocking was great especially from chef Cheik. The general buffet could be improved a bit though, maybe less variety and more quality.

Just back from a week at this hotel,ignore negative comments, rooms fabulous. Staff warm friendly. Breakfast lovely. Evening meal meat was very nice. Pools and public areas spotless. Walk to playa blanca a good hour but lovely views but if you're not mobile maybe not,if you like a walk no problem,nice little bars nearby and again very friendly. Would return no problem.
