I think this hotel gives a real feeling of Sri Lanka and local atmosphere . It’s well organised business with professional customers service. If you go outside of the hotel you see real street life and calm smiling people. Fantastic window views for many colours of the ocean and palms beaches. Very good price/quality ratio IMHO. 👍 I waited also to my last day to say that there is absolutely phenomenal food: each day is a different kitchen presentation and always local buffet of Sri Lanka food. After a very sticky start to our holiday the general manager the two restaurant manageress and staff more than made up for the misap. Rooms very clean and comfortable food fantastic. If anything the hotel could need off touching up hear and there but it's only cosmetic.. ramps everywhere for people with mobility issues so in all a great place to visit... thank you all Mr john

We stayed at Goldi Sands for two nights at the end of a 14 day Private Ultimate Sri Lanka tour purchased from Inspiring Vacations. Our tour package included “13 nights in 5-star hotels”. Whilst the Goldi Sands is well located on a nice beach, it is a long way from being a 5 star hotel. Inspiring Vacations lied to us about the tour package inclusions. We have tried contacting Inspiring Vacations about this however they keep saying they will contact us, but they don’t. The rooms at Goldi Sands are comfortable but not well maintained. Same for the property overall. It is quite run down. Service is hit and miss. Some of the staff here are great. But quite a few of the staff here seem to lack basic service training. The pool area is ok but there’s a lot of trash around and staff just walk past it. We had breakfast and dinner included as part of our Inspiring Vacations tour package. At every other Sri Lankan hotel we stayed at in the prior 11 nights the food was excellent, including some amazing curries. Sadly the food on our last two nights at Goldi Sands was very poor by comparison. A disappointing end to the tour. If you do plan to tour Sri Lanka, avoid using Inspiring Vacations as they promise 5 star hotels but do not deliver. If you do plan to stay in Negombo and expect a 5 star hotel, don’t stay at Goldi Sands. Otherwise this hotel is perfectly comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Two big pools, with quick access to the beach. Lovely views, great service and the food is amazing! My 5 year old daughter would also like to add, "this is the best hotel i've been to so far, I want to stay here forver. Sri lanka is so great!"

We stayed 3 nights at Goldi Sands resort Negombo. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The resort breakfast was wonderful including a selection of Sr Lankan dishes. The room was clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would love a beach holiday..
