Our stay at the hotel was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist us. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made our stay very pleasant. I would especially like to appreciate the cleaning staff for their excellent service when it came to maintaining the rooms. The cleaning was perfectly done and it was clear to see the dedication and commitment they had towards their duties. I also noticed how seriously they carried out their responsibilities without ever compromising on the quality of their work. The food was also great and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety and taste throughout our stay. Most importantly, the hard work and dedication shown by every member of the hotel staff in their respective roles made our holiday run smoothly and enjoyably. Their teamwork and professionalism truly made a difference in our overall experience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we truly appreciate the hospitality extended to us. Had a fantastic experience at Goldi Sands Hotel, Negombo. The hotel is beautifully located facing the beach, creating a perfect atmosphere for any special occasion. They arranged the wedding perfectly and everything was well organized from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended for weddings and events!

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Fantastic convenient location near to airport but also handy for Colombo & inland excursions. Situated right on beach & plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. Staff exceptionally helpful & friendly. We had a standard sea view room which had a huge patio/balcony. Good buffet food selection at breakfast & dinner. Only slight complaint is they have certain themed cuisine nights at dinner(Italian, European, Chinese etc which we don't go to Sri Lanka for!) although there is still Sri Lankan food available. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Goldi Sands for two nights at the end of a 14 day Private Ultimate Sri Lanka tour purchased from Inspiring Vacations. Our tour package included “13 nights in 5-star hotels”. Whilst the Goldi Sands is well located on a nice beach, it is a long way from being a 5 star hotel. Inspiring Vacations lied to us about the tour package inclusions. We have tried contacting Inspiring Vacations about this however they keep saying they will contact us, but they don’t. The rooms at Goldi Sands are comfortable but not well maintained. Same for the property overall. It is quite run down. Service is hit and miss. Some of the staff here are great. But quite a few of the staff here seem to lack basic service training. The pool area is ok but there’s a lot of trash around and staff just walk past it. We had breakfast and dinner included as part of our Inspiring Vacations tour package. At every other Sri Lankan hotel we stayed at in the prior 11 nights the food was excellent, including some amazing curries. Sadly the food on our last two nights at Goldi Sands was very poor by comparison. A disappointing end to the tour. If you do plan to tour Sri Lanka, avoid using Inspiring Vacations as they promise 5 star hotels but do not deliver. If you do plan to stay in Negombo and expect a 5 star hotel, don’t stay at Goldi Sands. Otherwise this hotel is perfectly comfortable.

Amazing staff and beautiful views. Highly recommend coming to this hotel. It’s also close to really nice touristy places so it’s super helpful.
