Stayed at the Golden Nugget for $120 and it was totally worth it! We booked directly through their official website and got a great deal with the resort fee waived — that made a big difference. The hotel has a unique shark tank pool that’s really cool to see in person. Parking was free since we were guests, which is always a plus in Vegas. Also, it’s not far from the Strip. Overall, a great stay for the price!

Golden Nugget has that old school Vegas feel to it still! We love the accessibility to Fremont St. You can just walk out the hotel onto Fremont St at any time!! Our suite faces the street and we were a tad apprehensive at first but then we realized that the music cuts off at a decent hour and you could barely even hear it to begin with!! If you’re up for old school Vegas and not necessarily caught up in the luxury of some of the big names then you’ll be just fine! The suite was reasonably priced and the largest one they offered. We will be back soon!!

Staying at this hotel casino was a memorable experience. The lobby was elegant, and check-in was quick and smooth. The casino floor was large and offered both classic and modern games. I enjoyed the live music in the lounge and the variety of restaurants on-site. The pool area was also a nice bonus for relaxing during the day. Overall, it's a great mix of luxury and entertainment.

Who Gave This Place 4 Stars?! Feels Like a 2-Star at Best! I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. The Golden Nugget calls itself a 4-star hotel… it barely scrapes by as a 2-star. And honestly — who’s even giving out these ratings?! There’s no real regulation — hotels or booking sites just slap on stars based on vague amenity lists, not actual quality. This place is proof of that. Let’s start with check-in: total chaos. The line at the front desk was insanely long, and although they have check-in kiosks, some of them don’t work, some – have a horrible bar code scanner. You’ll be standing there watching confused guests and stressed-out staff just trying to keep things from falling apart. The rooms are old, worn out, and depressing. Mine had rust inside the tub, dirt inside the toilet, stains all over the carpets, no mini fridge, and peeling wall molding right in the hallway. The whole building feels like it’s been stuck in time, and not in a charming way — more like neglected and falling apart. They advertise complimentary parking, but it’s always full, so I had to pay $30 overnight at a nearby lot. A hidden expense no one tells you about. Again, for a “4-star” hotel, this is ridiculous. If you’re expecting something elegant, modern, or even decently maintained — this ain’t it. The only thing Golden here is the way they gold-plate the advertising to make you think you’re getting a luxury experience. Would never stay again. Total letdown.

First thing when you come in and it is self check in at kiosks. We got to the room, which was not convenient to ANY elevator, ice, or vending. The room was in an older part the Carson tower. The room and bathroom were clean. Bed was literally made with 3 flat sheets tucked in to the bed. If one of you is cold natured you are out of luck! No blanket at all!! Also the shower had no body soap just shampoo and conditioner. Hope you don't want coffee...no coffee maker in the room. For the price it was lacking. Pool looked nice and casino was nice. Location was great for Fremont experience. Room and self check in/out and lack of amenities left us unimpressed and disappointed.
