We just spent a week at Golden Nugget for our family vacation and we had such a great time. We arrived on a Sunday and the gentleman who helped us check in was super friendly and helpful. We had 3 rooms and he helped make sure all our rooms were together.
The rooms were cozy, spacious and extremely clean. Housekeeping was amazing everyday, making sure we had everything we needed every day. Each room came with 4 free water bottles daily which was extremely helpful with the heat.
Having a Chick-Fil-A open until 2am close to the elevators was a hit with our kids. The location was great, right in the middle of Fremont street.
The pool was a hit with the family. The slides were amazing. A must see pool while visiting. I just wished it was open a little later during the summer.
The only thing I wish our rooms had was a mini fridge.

My only complaint is this place is very busy and crowded in every area.
The rush tower was a super nice upgrade and definitely a little quieter on that side. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Make sure to just leave your room keys in your room at check out .
The pool is super cool which is a huge highlight. Great central location on Fremont to walk the strip.

Getting in at 1a.m. on a Thursday night we checked in for our reservation. We would be checking out Sunday morning.
We got to our room and all seemed well. Besides the wet floor under the table.
When we finally had to utilize the bathroom in the room. We found the bathroom fan hanging from the ceiling and it made a horrible noise. Taking a shower we found a huge gash on the inside of the tub, and that the water would not drain. Tried calling the front desk and the room phone didn't work. So we sent the text message that was asked if maintenance was needed. They tried calling the room. The phone did ring, but when picking up the receiver nothing. We went down and talked to the front desk. We were told it would be taken care of while we were out. Being our 1st trip to Vegas we didn't get back till after 11. The fan is back in the ceiling, but still sounds horrible. Jump in the shower to find it still has not been fixed. For $745 I would hope at least everything works as it should.
Definitely not the best first experience.
I did take photos. Just not sure how to upload them in this review.

I came here on a visit with my family and we lost a bag of items we bought earlier however a service member Jonathan ( I think was his name) was extremely helpful and patient when i flagged him down for help. He took us to the lost and found and was incredibly nice. As a local this is what i hope for when bringing friends and family into town. We enjoyed our time although we do wish the Grotto would have let us in at 9:40pm when they said they stop taking people at 9:45 but we ended up at the Cadillac which was OK. Definitely some awesome people here I hope to see move up in the chains with their awesome customer service, positive attitudes, and patience.

This is a fun exciting casino right in the heart of Fremont Street. Live music outside and great gaming inside. We watched an 86 year old man have an incredible run on the Roulette Table. Tuesday night and the excitement was running on all cylinders inside and outside.
