Service is great, always attentive and nice. Rooms are pretty standard and clean, no fridges in the Carson tower. Plenty of water bottles and I have heard room service will bring you more if you ask. The check in was pretty crowded when we arrived, but we were moved to another desk down the way to alleviate the traffic, that was pretty nice. The rep that helped us at the front desk was having a birthday, and enthusiastically gave us suggestions on the strip for our kiddo. Overall loved the service, rooms were standard. 8/10 would stay again.

First time staying here, and I wasn't entirely disappointed. I wish it wasn't raining, so I could have enjoyed the shark pool, but we will be back! My only complaint is the beds are not very comfortable, we didn't sleep well. But it was super bowl weekend and the price was right. Rooms were clean. Elevator isn't right next to the table so you don't have to get out of the elevator to cigarette smoke.

I love classic Vegas and was looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, they don't tell you it's a 50/50 chance your room will be facing the Fremont Experience. There are several live stages that have cover bands blasting until 2am. Not an exaggeration. I heard Guns and Roses every night until 2am. The Nugget will not mention the issue when you check in, because they know everyone would ask to move or many might cancel. Instead they throw cheap earplugs in your room that say "Enjoy a quiet nights sleep." Earplugs don't black the booming base in your body. And no way you can't hear the music with them. Front desk refused to make any accommodation saying it's part of being in "The Entertainment District." Like visitors should just know this without being told. Instead of moving me, even on a Sunday when I'm sure plenty of rooms opened up, they only offered to upgrade me for $60. You might think they would wave the fee as a make good on my two previous miserable nights. Nope, they don't wave any fees. Like the $15 dollar fee to move my check out from 11am to noon. They nickle and dime the hell out of you. No housekeeping all 4 days we were there. Garbage cans had to be left outside and then I had no garbage cans. If you sleep like a log or get lucky with a room facing the strip you might be fine, but I will never stay here.

This hotel is great. The slim , blonde young man at the check in was awesome and so polite. We got upgraded from Carson to Rush Tower. The room was wonderful! The young man at the parking garage acted like he would rather not talk to anyone. The surrounding area can be a little shady at night. Stick to Fremont

We've stayed at the Nugget several times during our annual trips to Vegas. The staff is great and accommodating. That said, the reservations system leaves much to be desired. We requested five rooms on the same floor, with two adjoining, months in advance. There was no indication that might be a problem, other than saying adjoining rooms weren't guaranteed, but every effort would be made. When we checked in, we were told none of that was possible. No one called to ask about alternative room configuration or towers. In addition, my roommate's credit card was charged instead of mine, despite going to the desk during her checkout to confirm my CC number. After departure, when charges appeared on the wrong card, I called three times, on three different days. When I mentioned on the third call that I had left two messages with no result, the reservations person said she'd try to reach someone at the hotel. That was also unsuccessful. The on site staff is working hard to make guests happy, but it seems the reservations and accounting staff really can't be bothered with customer service. I'll be exploring other options next year.
