The hotel is great for relaxing. The food was good. Place was kept spotless by cleaning staff. Location requires a taxi home from the main shopping and eating areas. Great bar and entertainment every night. Pool a bit cold unfortunately. Thats probably the only real fault I have. Its a high quality resort and I would go back.

We are just back from a lovely week’s stay. Hotel is in a great position, staff are very friendly and helpful plus there was a great selection of food, even for the fussy eater! Rooms were extremely clean and tidied/towels changed daily except for Wednesdays. Pedro made some great cocktails and the bar prices were very reasonable. There was entertainment every night as well. We will definitely be visiting again.

We booked this hotel well in advance and managed to get a good deal. The hotel is nicely placed very close to bars and restaurants, although it is perched high on a hill so the walk back up could be a challenge for some. The hotel is quite compact but has everything that you need. The rooms are spacious enough and come with fridge, microwave 2 ring hob, cutlery, crockery and pans. The shower is powerful and plenty of hot water. The beds are comfortable. There is a TV and free wi fi. It was very quiet when we were there so it's hard to judge the entertainment, but it was average at best. All staff seemed pleasant enough. In honesty it's the first time I have not been all inclusive, so comparing I would say it is good.

This was our fourth stay at Gloria Izaro, but sadly, it will be our last. While the cleaning staff and two ladies in entertainment were lovely, the overall experience was far from 4-star quality—more like 2 or 3 at best. Customer service was poor, especially from the waiter staff, who were unfriendly and unapproachable. Some male staff, in particular, seemed irritated by basic requests, making guests feel like a burden. Service in the dining area was chaotic—cutlery clattering, trolleys banging, and little consideration for guests. I was asked to move while holding my daughter and plates so they could restock cereal. There was little in the way of Spanish charm or a welcome, hello good morning/evening at the restaurant. The food was another major letdown. Poor-quality ingredients, bland flavors, and little variety. Breakfast options were limited and very repetitive and prepared with no love for example, overcooked burnt croissants, frozen veg and tasteless fruit. Dinner was no better— the cold buffet food had no labelling so no idea what was being consumed, questionable hygiene, and likely left out for hours. On one occasion, the melon was so close to expiry it seemed off. Unfortunately, I became ill on day 2/3, which made the rest of the trip unpleasant. Overall, an overpriced and disappointing dining experience, forced us to eat out of the hotel. We won’t be returning.

Wonderful stay booked again for December 2025 . Staff amazing so helpful. Food excellent. Rooms adequate with everything you need. Bar not too expensive and good quality cocktails. Pool cold but aren't they all in lanzarote. Looking forward to our return
