The hotel was ok for the price we paid. It is stretching it to call it 4*. The hotel appearance is a bit dated. The concrete exterior doesn’t give you a feel good factor. Whilst the rooms are of a decent size they need modernising. We were B&B. The food in the restaurant was good. I’m glad we were not AI. The entertainment of the evening was outside at the front of the hotel which seemed strange. The Sun only gets to half the pool, but there is the roof top area that is a blessing in disguise. Checking in could have gone smoother with 3 visits to reception. Its ok having technology to open the door and the safe but it’s a nuisance when it doesn’t work. All in all the hotel was ok.

Just returned after spending a week over New Year. Hotel has good location , 5 min walk to beach and close to restaurants etc. But that’s about all. Rooms very outdated, more like 3 star, we had cockroaches, coming out of the door frames. Old towels and bedding, there was a broken shower, cracked tiles, and balcony door did not close securely. We didnt arrive until late, there wasnt even a bottle of water in the fridge, as a kind gesture. We were on the 1st floor, above the staffs entrance no view, and the noise from the staff entering etc was awful. No customer service from reception staff, they were so hostile and unfriendly. I witnessed one of the waiter, cough all over the cutlery as he was setting up tables at breakfast, he was clearly unwell. No concern that he had just spread his germs all over the place, no infection control, no sanitary condition. No wonder there was so many customers barking like dogs, when health and safety and infection control is nil. The upstairs sun terrace was closed due to weather warnings for 2 days, but no clear communication from management, the notice stated to take care, but still open. So people were left standing around until a staff member advised it was closed. Staff are not approachable at all! Will not return to this hotel, there is so many more opinions that would be more value for money.

When checking in I was like not a good start I came at 11.00 room is not ready(I understand that check in is at 14.00) so come back at 14.00.... I came at 14.10 room is not ready yet I was like uh ok than when? Come back in half a hour.... I came at 15.10 room not ready yet..... I was like ok I haven slept all night because of a night flight ..when is it ready... Don't know we are gonna call housecleaning... Finally at 16.10 I could get in my room....so that sucked! I loved the rooftop adults only area (sadly only one of the pools were working in my stay) Hotel is old but really really clean.👌 Staff(exapt reception who thought I was annoying asking for my room I guess) was very very nice especially Fransisco pool bar ,restaurant he was everywhere and always friendly and above. Also one lady but can't remember her name very very nice(Andrea maybe)👌 Airconditioning was not ok even at full capacity, but luckily it was not to hot when I was there so I managed. Food was ok ...sometimes really good sometimes little less but overall for all inclusive it was ok..great paellas👌 Hotel is due for refurbish (and you can see that)end of next year I wonder how it will be after that :-) Location is good 8 minutes from the beach boulevard with nice shops and restaurants. Bus stops and taxi in front of the hotel , also the tourist mini train every hour. For the price I paid it was a nice getaway for 10 days if you don't expect to much it is a very nice , clean hotel :-)

Lovely hotel but a bit out of the way. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. The majority of the staff were brilliant. They could not do enough. How ever the staff in the restaurant at meal times had a couple of arrogant and pretty unhelpful. I went in for lunch one day and the gentleman who greeted me said could I go in the conservatory area which I was pleased to do. I sat down and started to eat. A particularly arrogant and bad mannered lady named Natalia looked at me with annoyance one her face approached me with her arms outstretched and said in an abrupt tone of voice “This area is for evening service”. I said I was directed out her and not told I had to stay in a particular area. She give me a sorry look and walked away. As I said earlier the vast majority were brilliant. The youngsters who did the children’s activities were fantastic. The old gentleman who was on pool duty before the pool area opened was a lovely friendly man. Food was fantastic and went down well. Thanks and we will be back one day

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Fanabe, great pool areas, even one on the roof, never had problems finding sun loungers any day. Restaurant is very well ran and clean with the bonus of also having good food. Pool snacks also very good. Always entertainment on in both bar areas with loads of seating and table service from very helpful and fast staff. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, but ours was always cleaned to a very high standard the whole holiday. Highly recommend a stay here if your looking for a relaxing time.
