Hotel nice and clean and in good position for shops and beach etc. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Main pool quite congested and many children about but adults can use pool on quiet roof terrace to escape!
Our room was front facing and over the bar area so didn't manage to get to sleep until about 1.00am each night. Artists on each night until about 12.00am both front and rear of hotel.

South Tenerife is amazing overall, but I won’t go with this hotel in particular again.
My room has windows to some sort of technical entrance where it gets incredibly noisy even with closed windows as vehicles start loading-unloading early each morning. While I’m fine that you need to pay for rooms with a better view, I don’t think it’s adequate or fair for a 4-star hotel to have such terrible conditions in any room. Posting view from my balcony at 3:27 am as a bonus.
Another downside is that pool was closed for 2 days during my 1-week stay, which is very inconvenient, especially if you have kids like me.
Food (we got full board) was good overall. Kids enjoyed shows on some evenings. Room was slightly bigger than I used to get for the same money. These are the main reasons I did’t put one star…

Really nice and clean hotel, rooms are a typical Spanish holiday room but better. Comfy beds, amazing showers and the all important Bidat for a nice fresh feeling.
The main pool is good, clean and all important warm even in March. Busy around the pool area but they have loads of sunbeds, there's meant to be a no reservation of sunbeds but as always some lovely people like to still do this.
We had half board and I can say I have not had a terrible meal yet, standard breakfasts (English, croissants etc) but dinner varies from day to day having new meals in rotation with some things kept as a staple.
It was still slightly off season so I didn't expect much in the way of entertainment but I was wrong, still kids activities and shows on at night.
All staff we interacted with were amazing and welcoming

Our first visit to GF Fañabé recommended to us by friends the hotel is very clean, the staff are all very polite and friendly. The entertainment team are absolutely brilliant and great fun, both with the kids and adults. The room was a little disappointing, as the air con cold not get cool enough for us and the pillows were terrible. I would however definitely recommend this hotel for a family holiday.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Main pool is heated which makes using it an absolute pleasure to use. There are also two smaller pools on the roof and two smaller ground pools. We asked to move room and the reception staff were very helpful. Rooms are immaculate and cleaned every day with towels replaced. Every member of staff has been very nice and also gone out of their way to make our stay very pleasant
