If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. We have just spent a week here and have only been home 6 days before booking to go back! From the minute we walked into reception to the minute we left, we were always greeted, smiled at and spoken too. I have genuinely never been anywhere else with such positive and friendly service. From the negative reviews I see for this hotel, I honestly struggle to believe they visited the same hotel I did. The rooms are outdated in terms of decor but it was immaculately clean and it doesn’t impact the comfort in anyway. The rooms were also a good size and the air con was incredible, really effective. The shower is very powerful which is nice and everything worked as it should. The whole hotel is clean, welcoming and everything was in full working order. It’s easy to navigate and has plenty of amenities. The location is brilliant too, surrounded by shops and mini shopping centres all within 2-15 min walks. Took us around 10 mins to walk down to the beach but it is an uphill walk on the way back if you want the quickest route. The restaurant is nice, the food wasn’t always the best but that’s just my personal preference. I am gluten free and still had plenty of options. The food from the other bars was always piping hot and tasty. The service for drinks was always super speedy, slower in the restaurant but this is to be expected considering the amount of people. The animation team were great. They were really friendly and made sure everyone, child or adult, had plenty of fun. There is a cash machine inside but do be advised it does cost €5 to withdraw money. We also dealt with Sara at the excursion desk who was really helpful with booking us our excursions. Over all, the only feedback I would give is that the all inclusive menu could be bigger. There isn’t a load of options for the AI drinks/food compared to other places. However what is on there is good and you do get a really good discount on the rest of the menu. I cannot fault with hotel at all with any service they provide, we really loved it here and plan on coming back as much as we can. We can’t wait to come back in December! Great week at GF Fanabe. We booked a week B&B, had a great time. Used breakfast a few days, trying to get a seat wasn't easy. Everyday we ended up sitting at a table with other people's dishes. As there was only 3 of us, we would just move the dishes to the empty space at the table. Trying to find staff to get clean cutlery wasnt easy either. That's my only negative. Hotel was clean with rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels every day. Pool towels also available, saves you taking your own. Great location for some good restaurants and shops. Rooms are a little dated, but that's not something that bothers us. Air con was really good, we were in a ground floor apartment facing the back pool. We liked the back pool as the sun was there all day from about 11am. The main pool had shaded areas throughout the day. This is my 2nd time staying here and would return.

Fabulous hotel, we had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a great location, about a 15-minute pleasant walk to the beach. The hotel is very clean, and the cleaners made sure our room was tidied each day. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Roof top sunbathing is handy. I’d have no hesitation in returning

Very pleasant experience staying at this hotel. Staff fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms good sized,plenty of hot water with good pressure, and kept spotlessly clean. Great choice of food served in the restaurant. Good sized pool, also one for kids and plenty of sun beds. Roof terrace with two plunge pools and plenty of sun beds.

We were on a family holiday and we were very pleased with all the services of the hotel. Simply excellent everything. The food is excellent and varied, the organisation of the programmes is great!
