Gaia Royal Hotel in Mastichari truly exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, offering a variety of options that pleased everyone in our family. The pools are amazing and perfect for relaxation. Being right on the seashore is incredibly convenient, making beach access a breeze. The staff is highly professional and always willing to help, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The only minor issue was the smell of the water in the pipes, but this seems to be a common issue in Greece and beyond the hotel's control. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return! Five stars!

Absolutely loved our stay here at Gaia Royal🫶🏻 The buffet staff ladies were so polite and helpful, the food was always different and yummy! Our room never had any problems with insects and was always clean! The beach is so peaceful with amazing view of mountain range and beach bar on site! The pools were always clean and tidy and bartenders love to have fun with you😆 the hotel is a little out of the way of everything but the bus stop is right outside which was cheap and easy! 100% recommend and this was our first ever abroad holiday!💕🫶🏻🏖️ Thank you!!

Terrible hotel , the all inclusive is limited can’t even have water or use the beach bar paid extra for the ultra all inclusive and even that was limited still couldn’t get a decent drink. Ants everywhere even in the rooms . Nasty sewage smell throughout the hotel . We had a room by the farm the smell was bad and the animals would be loud from 4am which isn’t surprising seems as they are caged in small cages 24/7 . The pools are freezing too cold to even get in , but food was decent and friendly staff in restaurant.

After reading some of the reviews about this hotel I was dreading going to there but I was absolutely thrilled to bits with it. Only came back last night and I didn’t want to leave there. Food was amazing place was so clean.staff were Awsome and friendly . Beach party was Awsome . I will definitely go back . 😻😻😻

AVOID if you can. This is not a 4-star hotel. Maybe 2 stars, maybe less.
Dirty old rooms with a lot of rust and/or mold, quite often there is a bad smell from farms or cows or from somewhere else.
Ladies at reception, ladies at the bar near the Melpomene building are very nice and kind persons. But it is quite obvious that upper management of the hotel is not doing a job for guests (only for their own benefit only).
There was one mid-aged lady who was rude, with blonde hair. No idea what was her name.
Wifi is designed in a way that it will not work in some rooms (it didn't work in our room): they have only one access point for one building and the signal doesn't reach the side rooms. I had to set the wifi bridge by myself in the window to get a decent connection. So there is no "wifi around the hotel" as they advertise.
The hotel doesn't provide towels for guests for the swimming pool and beach. The only option is to pay by cash (in 2024). Not joking. This is a problem for people not from EU and the hotel doesn't inform about that in advance.
Apart from that, swimming pools are okay. Food is pretty good.
