  • Guests registered in the same villa or residences must be on the same meal plan, and valid for the entire stay.
  • Advance reservation is required at least 24 hours in advance for lunch and dinner at specialty restaurants.
  • Up to 2 children under 14.99 years accompanied by parents can dine for free at the specialty restaurants, when choosing the kids menu.
  • On 24th December and 31st December, lunch will be served at Jaafaiy restaurant only. All restaurants for dinner will be closed on 24th December and 31st December. Festive gala dinners are set up on these dates and there will be a mandatory supplement charged as per the contact.
  • All drinks served under the meal plan are for personal consumption only, served by the glass and must be ordered one at a time. Alcoholic drinks will not be served to guests under the age of 18. The resort reserves the right not to serve alcoholic beverages to inebriated guests.
  • Any charges which fall out of guest's meal plan entitlements will be charged on the guests bill and payment will be collected upon check-out. Guests are required to sign bills for records, even for the entitlements.
  • No refunds are available for unused activities from the entitlements. No substitutions will be available for any of the mentioned activities or services. Also, the benefits cannot be transferred to another guest.

A True Maldivian Gem – My Third Visit and Still Spectacular! This was my third time at Furaveri, and once again, it exceeded expectations. Although I once tried switching to a more luxurious resort, I can honestly say that Furaveri stole my heart and remains my favorite. It's the kind of place that perfectly embodies what the Maldives promise: natural beauty, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. The island is lush, green, and immaculately maintained — not too big, yet very well organized with excellent facilities including a full spa, fitness center, and diving hub. Rooms are huge, impeccably clean, and well air-conditioned. The beach is breathtaking, with the most turquoise waters I’ve ever seen. The main restaurant offers a rich variety of high-quality food, with daily changing international dishes. While I couldn't try the specialty restaurants (Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean) due to my current diet, I visited the locations and they looked simply fantastic — beautifully designed and inviting. After a week, I asked for some boiled vegetables for my diet, and from that evening on, the chefs prepared for me the most delicate and beautifully presented vegetable dishes — worthy of a Michelin-starred kitchen. It was such a thoughtful and refined gesture. All the staff are genuinely lovely — always smiling, attentive but never intrusive. Their warmth is authentic, and their care for guests makes everyday feel special. Snorkeling from the beach is a beautiful and relaxing experience, with plenty of marine life and clear waters that invite exploration. Although I didn’t get the chance to try the glass-bottom kayak, it looked amazing — the crystal-clear waters make it feel like you’re floating over an aquarium. Special mention to Sam, our island host, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. Shaily, who sometimes stepped in, was equally wonderful. And Pankaj, our housekeeper, went above and beyond every day. We've missed him since we left! Minor downside: spa treatments are definitely on the expensive side. A massage here costs more than many 5-star hotels in Europe, otherwise I would have received it once a day. But the service and ambiance almost make up for the steep prices. Overall, Furaveri is a perfect blend of serenity and fun, luxury and nature. Whether you're sipping a cocktail in your private jacuzzi watching the sunset or relaxing under the palms, this place offers unforgettable moments. We’ll certainly be back again. Highly recommended!

Furaveri was exactly what we expected. It was a beautiful tropical private island surrounded by abundant marine life, white coral sand and crystal clear blue ocean. We swam with schools of vibrant tropical fish, stingrays and baby sharks everyday. The Sunrise Ocean Pool Villa (overwater) was amazing and the Sunset Dolphin Cruise was highlight of the trip. Positive side of the service: - We celebrated my daughter’s and my husband’s birthday at Aqua restaurant. Maldives culture was infused within the ambiance especially the private room where we celebrated the birthdays. Pribin, the restaurant manager and two of his staff made the birthday celebration very special. Birthday chocolate cake was delicious, the food was delectable and the decoration was superb. - Buggy drivers were so kind and accommodating. - Two ladies from Kids Club were wonderful. - Elvis, the guest service, was nice. He was kind and always ready to help. Our Island host, Ikoo, was not very good so Elvis provided service for us most of the time. - Cooking station staff at Jaafaiy restaurant were kind. We enjoyed the freshly made omelettes every morning. Negative side of the service: - Jaafaiy restaurant was not good. Every single one of waiter staffs were extremely rude. The waiter staff gave me attitude one morning because I ordered two coffees. The food was uncovered so the bugs were having a feast on it. - Some of the Sports Center staff were impolite and impudent. We were scheduled to do Kayaking for one hour. The staff came into the ocean and told us to return the kayak at 40 minutes mark. - The cleaning staff was kind and accommodating, but the hygiene standard was terrible. We found a dead cockroach on our bed and my husband was bitten by bed bugs. You cannot escape bugs as it is a tropical island with high temperature so It is crucial for the cleaning staff to maintain the place clean. Furaveri is a five star resort and it needs to meet this standard. - We requested the bedding sheet to be changed, but it wasn’t changed when we requested the first and second time. The cleaning staff lied to us. When we requested to have the bedding change for the third time, we showed the staff the coffee stains. That coffee stains were the reason that we knew the bedding wasn’t changed before. And then, the staff admitted they didn’t change the bedding. - Attached photo is the bed bug bites on my husband’s leg. I took a photo when we came home which was a week after. A couple guests who stayed a unit beside us had same bites from bed bugs.

From the American standard: Pros- Shrubbery/greenery/ grounds Beautiful flora Waitstaff and buggy personnel are exceptional. Cons- Managers didn't take requests seriously. Housekeeping damaged my charging cable and lied. Receptionists don't call you to alert that outings are canceled and don't call to confirm if you're running late. Liasions don't respond to messages until hours later. Sunrise Villa #807- has missing pool/outside lighting, and bad water pressure in the bathroom faucets. Bats and stray cats are on the island but they don't harass people. Housekeepers don't know how to clean. Dust bunnies abound, didn't throw away trash, house never smelled fresh. Warning: unplug any personal items from around the bed. Island hopping left much to be desired. Almost not worth going. Dolphin cruise is not guaranteed to see dolphins. Mandatory tipping that's taxed on top of that with international charges. Food was sometimes inedible.

Wow wow wow!! What a wonderful experience visiting Furaveri. A truly stunning natural island with incredible staff, delicious food and outstanding accomodation. Our host Sam was excellent! Always very courteous, helpful knowledgeable and attentive. Chabin was wonderful and would always take me through my gluten free options at every meal at the buffet restaurant and ensured I always had additional options too. Special thanks go to Bishal in the buffet restaurant and Rameesh with the buggy service. First class service with a huge smile by all staff! We were well looked after. We loved it there! We stayed at this resort for a week to celebrate a special occasion, splitting our time between the Garden Villa and the Sunset Ocean Pool Villa. While the island itself is stunning, clean, and well-maintained, the management and overall service were deeply disappointing. From the moment we arrived, our appointed host, Mihad, failed to provide clear information or assistance. On the first day, we stayed in a Garden Villa where the bathtub was broken. Despite informing our host several times, no action was taken until we moved to our next villa. This lack of responsiveness continued throughout our stay. We had pre-booked several experiences, including a spa treatment and a candlelight dinner, but had to constantly follow up for details. No one took the initiative to update us or coordinate properly. Our candlelight dinner was poorly organized — after receiving our starter, we waited 45 minutes for the main course, with no one checking in despite reminders. Though we had opted for the premium all-inclusive package, we were repeatedly denied drinks (mocktails, juices) at the bar, being told they weren't included. Only after escalating the issue to our host — again — were we allowed access to what we had already paid for. Our stay in the ocean pool villa itself was lovely, and we enjoyed the setting. However, another major letdown was the in-pool breakfast. We requested it on the first day but were told it was fully booked and would be scheduled for our last morning. The night before our departure, while settling our bills, we learned for the first time that our flight was scheduled at 7 a.m., meaning we wouldn’t receive our breakfast. No one had informed us earlier — we had to discover it ourselves. When we raised our concern, the staff acted as though the oversight was our fault, which was incredibly disappointing. There were a few highlights: 1.The Ocean Spice Indian Restaurant was excellent, and Rajesh, who served us, was incredibly kind and helpful — even stepping in when our host wasn’t reachable. 2.The Dive Club staff was wonderful and made our first scuba experience memorable and safe, even though we don't know swimming. 3.The buggy drivers were always friendly and ready to help. In short, if you're only looking for a scenic getaway and are okay with handling everything yourself, this place delivers on beauty. But if you value good service and a smooth experience, I would recommend choosing another resort.
