The Furama City Centre is priced well and is in a good location. It’s currently being renovated and we stayed in a renovated room. It is nice for the price paid. For us the cleaning service was perfect. If you wanted it cleaned each day you asked or put the sign on the door. Otherwise it was done every 3 days. I like this because it caters to personal needs/wants. There are also self service amenities in the halls ie toilet paper, tissues, towels, tea, coffee, sugar. The staff were very personable, warm, friendly and always trying to give you the best deal. In particular Ivy and Agnes who in our 3 nights there we became very fond of for their attentiveness and warmth. Thanks ladies. We appreciate it. It would be remiss of me not to mention that while the renovations are lovely a lady tripped at the top of the stairs near reception while we were there and this was a place I also tripped and believe this maybe due to the tiles not being the same level as the carpet and the alterations made to attempt to correct this.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff truly made our visit special, especially Ivy & Ray, Desmond and Alice. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality created a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We really appreciated the personal touch and friendliness of everyone. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service and a pleasant stay. Thank you all.

I booked it on 11 October for a night. I was surprise that hotel did not inform guests in advance or during booking of the on going renovations from other guest rooms levels, there were multiple loud noise level and you wont be able to rest well or relax. The dusts that comes from the drilling and knocking vibrations in other rooms is really pretty bad. New renovated rooms is acceptable as space are bigger than usual..food is nice if you like traditional local style.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Furama City Centre for a week and overall the experience was positive. We had interconnected rooms on the 17th floor and the rooms were nice with good views. Initially there was a mix up with our booking but Reva and Yvette at reception were able to sort everything out very efficiently. Overall the hotel is in a great location (above the MRT), offers a good breakfast and good value family rooms.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, right next to the Chinatown MRT. However, that’s where the positives end. I would strongly advise against booking this hotel due to the ongoing construction. We were completely unaware of the construction before booking (nor was it mentioned on the website), which made it quite disturbing. The construction was so loud that it felt as if it was right above our room on floor 9. As a courtesy, they should have upgraded our guests to a better room. Another issue is the room cleaning schedule. They only clean the rooms every three nights, which means your bin will be overflowing with rubbish and the room will stay dirty. This is not mentioned on the website or before booking. The rooms themselves are very dated and tired, far from the pictures on the website. There are yellow bath tubs, mouldy shower curtains, and fraying carpets, as seen in the attached pictures. The AC would not cool the room below 22 degrees as everything is so dated. For a better standard, I would book elsewhere.
