Me and my family had an amazing stay! Despite some mixed reviews beforehand, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was spotless, staff were lovely, and the food was varied and delicious. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day. There were plenty of activities for adults, kids, and families. The view was stunning, and we loved the several heated pools, spa, and sauna. Highly recommend!

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Fuerteventura Princess with my daughter and grandchildren for a week of fun in the sun. The hotel certainly ticked all the boxes. We booked a side sea view suite with private terrace so the children could run around safely - it was fabulous! Two well equipped bedrooms and bathrooms, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The staff were kind and friendly and we were given an upgrade to the top level of all inclusive (black wristband) and use of all of the Esencia facilities. The food was mostly very good, I'm easily pleased with rice dishes, salads , cheeses and fruit & veg as I'm gluten free and found a tasty variety of things to choose from. The grounds were beautiful, nicely laid out and well cared for and the swimming pools warm, clean and again well maintained with plenty of loungers and parasols available. I'd definitely return during a quiet period. Thank you for a wonderful stay and looking after us so well 🫶🏼

The worst service imaginable. Yet another mess during check-in, with zero organization. A lady from the Bravo carrier shows up and pushes her group of Italians ahead of other guests who had been trying to check in for over 30 minutes. Later, we try to book a birthday dinner for a friend. Everything was confirmed by email, but the staff tries to charge us extra and claims she doesn’t speak English, saying the translator must have translated it incorrectly. In the end, it turns out we were right and the staff member simply tried to scam us. Finally, during the dinner, it turns out the reservation was lost. The manager was extremely unpleasant and refused to admit any mistake. Finally the dinner, after argue was confirmed but (also after argument), manager told me she wouldn’t talk to me anymore, that I shouldn’t come to her with anything again, and that I should just leave. The only good thing about this hotel is the food – it’s excellent. The service, however, is at a one-star level. To top it all off, when we got back to our room, we found that the cleaning lady had left a bag of trash on our desk. Also one of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the advertised beach volleyball. It’s even listed on the activity boards as a daily event. Unfortunately, there is no beach volleyball – only (supposedly) water volleyball. The hotel uses false advertising and simply doesn’t care. Additionally, there are cockroaches in the hotel.

Unwelcoming, Rude Staff & Dated Rooms – A Thorough Disappointment Our experience at the Fuerteventura Princess was deeply disappointing and has completely put us off ever returning — not just to the hotel, but sadly to this part of the island. From the outset, it was clear that English guests were not made to feel welcome. Staff interactions ranged from disinterested to openly hostile. On more than one occasion, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. One staff member actually called me "impatient" for helping myself to a glass of juice. Others rolled their eyes when we asked for drinks at the bar — basic service you'd expect without issue at a supposed four-star resort. The sports bar staff were the worst offenders. Any time we requested drinks, the reaction was as though we were asking for something unreasonable. They were rude, smug, and made no effort to hide their disdain. We watched them greet local guests with warm smiles, only to turn to us with the complete opposite attitude — cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. The issues didn’t stop with the staff. Our room was severely dated and neglected, with broken fixtures and a thick layer of dust. The balcony/terrace was in appalling condition: broken tiles, a patch of bare mud, visible piping, and even a crumbling wall. It genuinely felt like the worst unit on the entire property — not what you expect after paying for a holiday abroad. The most frustrating part? Not a single member of staff made any effort to make our stay pleasant. No kindness, no hospitality, no sense that we were valued guests. It was as if the bare minimum — and sometimes less — was all they were willing to give. Fuerteventura itself is stunning and worth visiting, but staying at Fuerteventura Princess left a bitter taste. I would strongly advise English-speaking travelers to look elsewhere — this hotel made us feel unwelcome and unwanted from start to finish.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The staff were shockingly arrogant and unprofessional. We spoke to them politely in English, only to overhear them talking about us in Spanish in a very rude and disrespectful way — assuming we couldn’t understand them. It was insulting and made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay. To make matters worse, the food was mostly low-quality, semi-finished products. You are not able to enjoy nice classic Spanish food. After just two days, I started having stomach issues, which completely ruined the rest of my trip. This is not the kind of service or quality anyone should experience at a hotel. Definitely not worth the money. Avoid if you care about being treated with respect and having decent food. Noone wanna share the food with birds. Only one is nice here and it's beach. Hotel should really improve their service!
