I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The food was amazing, though I felt it could have had a little more variety. The highlight of my experience was definitely the drinks and the barmen — they were absolutely the best! A special mention to Ashfaaq, Atheekesh, and another barman whose name I, unfortunately, forgot — they were truly excellent at making drinks and made the whole experience so enjoyable. From the kitchen team, I would also like to thank the person in charge of preparing the tea-time snacks (sorry I forgot his name), as well as Chef Ruben for the desserts, which were incredibly delicious. All the staff were great, always welcoming, and had a smile on their faces while providing such good service. Thank you to the whole hotel team for making my stay so wonderful!

We spent three nights at this hotel and truly appreciated some aspects of our stay. The outdoor areas are lovely, the hammocks, the garden spaces, and the cozy lounge near the lobby offer a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was kind and always polite, which we really appreciated. However, the room we stayed in was quite disappointing. It had a strong smell of dampness and was poorly insulated ,we could hear both neighbors and staff conversations very clearly. The beds were uncomfortable, and we woke up each morning with back pain due to poor sleep quality. The air conditioning was noisy and initially didn’t work because of dead batteries. We ended up using the TV remote batteries to get it started and informed the staff, who said they would change them, but unfortunately, this was not done during our entire stay, by the way the tv turned on by itself at night. When we arrived the room wasn’t ready so we had to wait an hour and a half but the staff was kind to ask if we wanted to rest in another room while waiting. It was too pricey for what we had compared to other hotels. The bathroom also needs improvement: the sink is very small and drains very slowly. The shower has no curtain, so water ends up all over the floor, and the hot/cold controls are reversed ,plus, you have to wait about 10 minutes to get hot water. Breakfast was decent, but lunch was a letdown, the price is comparable to a good restaurant, yet the quality and variety of the food were quite basic. If you want coffee/ tea or water you have to go to the shop and ask for it, it’s free but it’s not in the room, it’s good to know that. With that said, the charm of the common areas and the friendliness of the staff show great potential. I believe with some renovations and modern touches to the rooms, this place could truly offer a wonderful experience. I sincerely hope they consider refreshing the rooms to match the beauty of the outdoor spaces.

Local vibes, local food, local drinks, these are all the things you can expect while staying there. As soon as you step in the hotel, the decor immediately puts you in the mood you need. Cosy, warm, and modern was well thought out with a Mauritian touch. The management welcomed us very warmly, and we enjoyed our Mauritian dishes! We had a very nice spacious family room😊 The pool is a bit old school, but the beach is a good compromise! Appreciates the complimentary cake given for my husband's birthday🙂 and my daughter enjoyed the kid's club. A big thanks to Kishan, he always greeted with a smile and for going above and beyond to ensure that our diner, breakfast, and lunch time were exceptional, and the excellent service made all the difference❤️ Evening entertainment....I know they can do better😉 Most important, we went home with lots of memories🫶🏖🏝

We came to celebrate my birthday party ...Food was so delicious on the buffet staff were so friendly and attentive we really enjoy our stay we really appreciate the service of KISHAN in the main restaurant he was amazing and brilliant ,a special thanks to jessy and Pastry chef Ruben he made such a beautiful birthday cake for me it was really delicious. And also to the reception team they were so friendly, a special thanks to the managers also..we really enjoy our stay .

Our weekend stay at Friday Attitude was absolutely phenomenal, and the name truly says it all. From the moment we arrived until we reluctantly departed, the atmosphere felt like a continuous, stress-free Friday. Upon arrival, we were met with a surprisingly busy check-in, but the staff handled it with remarkable efficiency and grace. Instead of making us wait, Vishal from the front desk immediately took us to our room so we could settle in. He told us we could come back later to complete the paperwork when we were ready—a small gesture that spoke volumes about their commitment to guest comfort. Having a work meeting scheduled, this thoughtful approach was incredibly helpful and a testament to their "no stress, no hassle" philosophy. Our room was a cozy, spotlessly clean haven on the ground floor. We were blown away by the detailed swan decoration made from towels—a special touch that, even after traveling the globe and staying in countless hotels, felt uniquely welcoming and charming. The hotel grounds are a true paradise for relaxation. There are countless small corners to unwind in, from hammocks under the trees to sun loungers on the pristine white-sand beach. The beach itself is stunning, perfect for swimming and long walks. Although the hotel doesn't have a gym, we enjoyed invigorating three-hour walks along the coastline to Belle Mare, a fantastic way to stay active while exploring the beautiful surroundings. The food at the buffet-style 90° East restaurant was a daily highlight. The F&B Manager, and even the general manager, Mr. Ravi Kowlessur, consistently checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our meals. The variety of options was excellent, and the service was impeccable. We were disappointed to miss out on the local Mauritian experience at Kot Nou as it was fully booked, but this just gives us another reason to return! The standout of our stay was, without a doubt, the staff. It's impossible to mention everyone by name, but every single person—from the front office to housekeeping to the restaurant team—was genuinely kind and friendly. Vishal was an absolute star; his warmth and knowledge made us feel completely at ease. We were even surprised to find him making omelets at breakfast with a huge smile, showing just how dedicated and versatile the team is. Mr. Ravi Kowlessur, the general manager, is doing a fantastic job. He took the time to chat with us daily and even offered us a complimentary lunch on our check-out day and extended use of the hotel facilities. This level of hospitality is rare and truly made us feel like part of a family, not just a guest at an establishment. Our experience was so wonderful that we're already looking forward to our next visit. If you're looking for a place where you can truly relax and leave your worries behind, Friday Attitude is the perfect destination. It’s a place where it’s always Friday!
