I had a wonderful stay at the Freehand Hotel! The atmosphere was stylish and welcoming, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. I especially want to shout out the valet service — Angel was amazing! He was so friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. Every time we needed our car, he had it ready within minutes and always greeted us with a smile. His positive attitude really stood out and made our experience even better. Highly recommend staying here — great location, great service, and great people!

Stayed in a 4 bunk dorm. Clean and spacious rooms. Great amenities, the rooftop pool area is very cool. Excellent location wise downtown and is walking distance to many public attractions and only a few minutes walk to public transport. There's a bar open late across the street and some food trucks too for a midnight snack. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights and I was immediately drawn to the hotel’s unique design. It was stylish and full of character. Our room was spacious and had a fun vibe, with a great shower that added to the comfort. However, we slept on the second floor and struggled with the noise at night. We could hear music, conversations, and even street races, which made it hard to sleep. On top of that, bright lights from the food trucks across the street shone directly into our room. The rooftop bar had a great atmosphere and delicious drinks. We used the valet and they were really friendly, we never had to wait a long time!

The room was clean and comfy the shower was magical. Each bunk has two electrical plugs for your enjoyment so you can charge your stuff. Also a lamp is available in each bed. There is an option to check-in early for an additional cost which can be nice. The pool was not bad with great views.

This place was great its a hostel and hotel. Price and location was great, theres a rooftop pool and bar along with a coffee and clothing shop on the first floor. Gym is small but it was really clean, I recommend staying here if your going to be in LA on a budget. There was no parking, they do have a valet that was pricey, I wish they had a bigger kitchen/ dining area for the guest.
