On an overall basis I would say this resort is a 4 or 4.5 stars, however, the people and the service made it a five star experience. The issues we had were related to dress code inconsistencies, quality of food and food availability (not enough options throughout the day). However, there were a few employees that more than made up for these short-comings and made this a trip to remember for us and the kids. Special shout out to Adami from the Market Fresh restaurant where we had breakfast. She remembered our coffee orders after one day and had a beaming smile that made the morning that much brighter. Sergio, Gladis and Jazmin from Sweet Cornet make a mean coffee and were very friendly and attentive. Adriana from housekeeping made some lovely towel animals that made the kids' evening. We were lucky to have Adriana and Teadora cleaning our rooms as they paid attention to detail and were just lovely to chat and interact with. Marcelo (I hope I remembered his name correctly) from Dunas and Pascual from Lizo were very friendly and genuine servers that made our lunches and dinners very enjoyable. Lastly, one of the managers, Adrian, was very attentive and always made sure everything was ok. Mexico is lovely because of the people and at Finest you can be sure that the people are what will make your vacation top notch. Thank you all!

We had a wonderful stay at Finest Playa Mujeres, and what truly stood out was the incredible level of service throughout the entire resort. From check-in to every interaction with the staff, we felt genuinely cared for—warm, attentive, and always with a smile. The dining experience was truly on-par with high-end dining experiences, which is uncommon even at very upscale all-inclusive resorts. Both the quality of the food as well as the preparation, presentation, and flavor are truly excellent. A special shoutout to Petit Plaisir, the adults-only French restaurant on site. It was hands down our favorite dining experience of the trip. The chef’s creativity and execution were phenomenal, and the service was top-tier—elegant, professional, and thoughtful. This spot alone is worth returning for. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping and a layout that feels both luxurious and peaceful. The design and ambiance of the entire resort strike the perfect balance between modern sophistication and relaxed comfort. It’s a stunning place to unwind. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, though a couple of details fell slightly short: the automatic bathroom lights were frustrating at night, turning on the moment you step in and disturbing sleep. Also, the bed wasn’t quite as comfortable as we’d hoped. That said, everything else was so wonderful that these were just minor inconveniences in an otherwise fantastic stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our second stay at the Finest Playa Mujeres! The kids had plenty to do and we all enjoyed the finest club area of the beach. The Victors were very attentive waiters and Eduardo, Fernando, and Angel were wonderful hosts. The food was great overall and we enjoyed the entertainment. Daniel Jesus in the Finest club lounge made some excellent cocktails and drinks for the kids as well. He has great showmanship and skill! I highly recommend this resort.

This is our second stay this year.. we loved it so much we came back only 6 months later! Our first night we had an exceptional dinner at Brass steakhouse, which we didn’t get to try the last time we were here. OMG everything was great, from the food to the phenomenal service. The hostess Elizabeth went above and beyond to accommodate our large group of 12, and she did so with the most professionalism and warmth. Our servers Jorge & Sergio were extremely helpful, catering to every request from our demanding group with a smile and promptness. Our second night we enjoyed Tinto & Tapas - you must try the papas bravas here!! But the highlight were our servers Leonardo and Ivan - they were the best!!! Both were super friendly and helpful and you can tell they really just love their jobs!!! They had the best food recommendations and responded to all our requests quickly and happily. We have had top notch service from every single restaurant we have tried so far, but definitely ask for the wonderful servers mentioned above!! Our rooms are beautiful and clean and everyone here has been so friendly, especially Jimena at the front desk. Props to the entire managerial staff here for continually maintaining the best quality and service across all areas.

During my stay at Finest, I had the pleasure of dining at their surf and turf restaurant, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The food was exceptional—perfectly cooked steak, fresh seafood, and flavors that truly stood out. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, making it a memorable dining experience. What made the evening even more special was the outstanding service from Julio and Linda. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their warm personalities and professionalism added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re staying at this resort, I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. Great food, impeccable service, and a wonderful atmosphere—definitely a must-visit!
