Captivating tropical scenery and total relaxation is guaranteed for guests at the bliss Fihalhohi Island Resort, in the Maldives. Surrounded by pure white beaches and crystal-clear waters, sunseekers will delight in spending their days stretched out on the soft sand soaking up the rays in this truly idyllic destination. The hotel is located on an island almost a kilometer in diameter, and has a rather rounded and extensive coastline and a coral reef for diving. If you're lucky, you can admire fluorescent plankton at night. Overall, it's a little paradise on Earth. But why such a low rating? First, let me say that the prices for drinks, tours, and diving are incomparably high, higher than in central Paris. Furthermore, most of the tours and attractions are more accessible on the island than by purchasing a package tour. I should add that, during our two weeks on the island, we were misled by a whale watching trip, which never reached the required number of people. However, we did go on nearby tours, which weren't too bad! I had the impression they were spontaneous. They hadn't done anything in advance to find out if there were any aquatic animals in a given location, which meant they were blind. From what we saw, they also had no contact with local people from other islands, which was very surprising. Furthermore, if they felt a trip wasn't getting enough participants—for example, there were 13 out of a minimum of 15—they would cancel it without even consulting the local resorts.

Our review after 6 unforgettable days at Fihalhohi Island Resort, Maldives December 11–17, 2025 Arriving on the island by boat, we fell in love with this incredible atmosphere from the very first minute 🌴 Service — 5/5 ⭐️ Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed at the reception and offered non-alcoholic cocktails 🍹 Within 10 minutes, our room keys were ready. We were escorted to our room, where everything was clearly explained and shown to us — truly top-level service. On December 12, I arranged a romantic dinner during which I proposed to my girlfriend at sunset 💍 It was incredibly elegant and romantic: a beautifully decorated arch with flowers and candles was specially prepared for us. The service during the dinner deserves the highest praise — bravo to the entire team! We would also like to especially mention the waiter who took care of us throughout our stay (room 222). His attention and care were felt every day — as soon as we entered the restaurant, he would bring everything we liked with a warm smile and great attention to detail. The reception staff and housekeeping team demonstrated a very high level of professionalism. Everyone was polite, sincere, and genuinely friendly. It was truly something out of this world ✨ Thank you for every moment we spent with you! We even planted a palm tree on your island 🌱 — so we promise to return in a year. See you soon, Fihalhohi! 💙

Great resort.. great snorkelling and dive experience.. and amazing food.Service of the staff is good but can be improved esp the bus boys.

After your reservation, no one will contact you and will not explain to you how to reach them until the day the rain will weaken for more than four or five hours. You search for how to reach them and they will answer you on WhatsApp because they do not have WhatsApp or on Instagram. They did not answer it and they did not answer the call because the number does not work. You will wait for him there for a long time and when you arrive every time an employee will come and knock on your room door and he will not let you sleep in peace and he will not let you rest. First, they follow procedures. As soon as you arrive, they ask for money and procedures and many things. The staff are not friendly at all. None of them are friendly, neither the daytime staff nor the night staff. No one is friendly. I swear to you that the island is small and not worth visiting at all. They lied to me and told me that the boat ride to the street cost $150, but when I arrived, it changed to $200. No one from the staff will explain to you how to benefit from the two meals and which meal you will benefit from, no one will explain to you, no one.

Beautiful resort, heavenly sea, we stayed for 5 days at Fihaholi, good food and very friendly staff. A special mention goes to Pepo, he guided us on snorkeling excursions with great attention and was very kind to send us the videos he had taken with the Go Pro. Thank you so much Pepo, you are great!
