We were absolutely satisfied with all services in the hotel. Amazing rooms, delicious food, breathtaking ocean. The staff was very polite and helpful. The lifeguard guy - Salim was really kind and communicative, he did his job very well. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Fanar Hotel & Residences has the appearance of a five-star hotel, but it falls short in delivering the expected standards. The floors near the pool are noticeably unclean, suggesting they haven’t been properly maintained. Pool bars serve drinks in plastic or paper cups, which feels out of place for a luxury experience, and the pool walls are visibly dirty. The "all-inclusive" package is misleading, as it only includes full board and unlimited drinks at the bars—snacks like nuts or chips are considered extras and come at an additional cost. These shortcomings detract from the overall experience and fail to live up to five-star expectations.

Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a vacation, this place is the perfect destination. Fantastic choice of food, clean and hygienic swimming pools, world class accommodation is yours just a few minutes drive from Salalah. Moreover, those who want to make Oman their second home can occupy the villas on long term lease.

We visited Oman in April 2024 and stayed in Fanar Hotel and Residences for a week. Generally, Oman as a destination is a perfect place for a short beach-y break for a week because it is not too far from Slovakia and a direct charter flight takes just 7 hours. Location is perfect too. Not to close neither to far from the airport or Salalah city. Picturesque sights! Highly recommended!

First of all, I would like to thank the entire staff. Everyone was very nice, patient and smiling. Thanks to him, we felt really good in the hotel. Both the hotel and our room corresponded to 5 stars. Unfortunately we had one of the few rooms without a balcony so it was difficult to dry wet things. The food was sufficiently varied and tasty. With one exception. In the a la carte restaurant, we received insufficiently tasty food and instead of a medium steak, we received a well done. The beaches were clean and close to the hotel with plenty of sunbeds. There were stands on the beaches with a wide selection of different tasty foods, so those who didn't want to go to the main building for lunch could also eat on the beach. We missed the hotel bar a bit. All the bars were outside and it was not possible to bring a drink inside. Part of the hotel's services was also the possibility of visiting the aquapark. I definitely recommend this hotel.
