A wonderful resort that is fully equipped with all that it takes to ensure a great guest experience. Has multiple swimming pools and easy beach access. The mirina is a two minutes walk and has nice restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel restaurant is nicely decorated. It has outside seating area by the pool and overseeing the beach. The breakfast menu is wonderful with endless varieties. Highly recommended for families.

My experience at Fanar Hotel was very negative. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel is far below any acceptable level. The bathroom sink kept getting clogged, and the bed sheets were not clean. I even got skin rashes right after using them, which is totally unacceptable for any place of stay. The service was also poor. The staff were slow to respond. As for transportation, it was a big problem. The hotel taxis are very expensive, and they don’t allow other taxis to enter. This forces guests to pay high prices for bad service. The worst part was when I left the hotel, walked about ten minutes outside the gate, and ordered a taxi. A hotel taxi came and forced the driver to cancel my ride in a very unethical way. This shows very disrespectful and unacceptable behavior. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Fanar Hotel to anyone looking for cleanliness, comfort, or decent service. Honestly, even one star is too much.

I had a very disappointing experience at Fanar Hotel and Residences. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, both of the rooms we booked had bed bugs. When we raised this with the hotel staff, their response was unhelpful—as if they were already aware of the issue. The only “solution” offered was a late checkout, which in no way compensates for such a serious problem, especially after paying a premium price for the stay. Overall, a very unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience.

I had the pleasure of spending my vacation at Fanar Hotel and it was truly a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, varied, and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job keeping the room spotless every day. The whole hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. I had an amazing time there and can definitely recommend it!

This place is really amazing! The room are really nice with a big balcony where you can relax after a long day. The room was extremely clean always with small attention even for the kids (we had the room 5324). The poins are great with different sections for the different ages so perfect for both family with kids but also for adults that don’t want to mix with kids. The beach is also beautiful and clean. You have lifeguards everywhere so you feel safe for your kids. A special thanks to Salim that is a real professional paying a strong attention to the kids safety 🙏🏼! Then you have access to the Havana Aquaparc (a couple of minutes away from the hotel, 1mn by car and 15mn walking). The Aquaparc is perfect for families. Your young kids will not only have pools but they will also enjoy a playground and a small farm where they see, feed different animals (including camels). The breakfast was really amazing, I don’t know what they could have added (everything was fresh: fruits, pancakes, crepes, waffles, international plates for all tastes). The only negative point was really the room service. The food we got was really not reflecting the rest of the Fanar Standards (the food was really not good, it’s really to keep at midnight if you really don’t have any option and you’re really hungry). Finally, I take the opportunity to highly thanks again Salim and Abderahmane that helped us with our car that had a wheel issue. I drove us until a garage without asking for a single €/$. A really beautiful person 🙏🏼 So in conclusion, it’s an amazing place that we recommend to enjoy a trip in Salalah💕
