We’ve been staying at the Fairmont for nearly 2 weeks. If you’re looking for a quiet beach vacation, this is a good spot. The ocean is calm, there are no harrassments on the beach to buy things. I’ve read the other reviews and have to agree that the hotel is due for a refurbish… I’m paying a Four Seasons hotel prices so I was a little disappointed that the hotel is a bit tired. It’s an excellent property - every room has an ocean view - which isn’t always easy to find. You can go to sleep listening to the waves - so the location is exceptional. Also exceptional is the friendliness of the staff, and the cleaning staff is amazing. The room is tidied twice a day. The balcony provides a lovely morning and evening retreat with comfy lounges - love it. The restaurant can use some upgrades with the menu which is limited but there are so many restaurants to try on the island - at least when we eat here it feels easy. We also had issues with the TV streaming of the World Series which they tried to remedy multiple times - apparently also a problem with their service provider. On occasions where we couldn’t get a signal, we received profuse apologies and were comped drinks at the bar where that tv streaming worked. Finally, I’ve had many spa services in the room - I recommend the jet lag massage. I would return here - I’ve had a lovely time and I hope someone invests in this property soon - it has so much potential.

Holidays are made of memories — and we came home with so many to choose from. From breakfast beside the ocean to a sail along the bay on the hotel’s Hobie Cat, and evenings watching the sun set with a cocktail in hand, every part of our stay felt truly special. Hotels are nothing without great service, and the team at the Fairmont made our experience unforgettable. Every member of staff was warm, friendly, and attentive — nothing was ever too much trouble. We especially appreciated their thoughtful recommendations for discovering the island’s best sights and hidden gems. The location is simply unbeatable — we spent hours relaxing on the pristine beach and swimming in the turquoise ocean. We’ve stayed at properties across the world and this is the perfect Caribbean getaway — and one we’d highly recommend to anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and genuine Barbadian warmth.

We where thrilled to be back to the Fairmont in September to celebrate a big birthday! We felt like we where returning to friends. Serena was our wonderful housekeeper who was so sincere. And Jaheel, seemed to be the hardest working staff of all, helping our wherever a pair of hand was needed. Michael from the pool, left me a special happy birthday message in the sand, which was so thoughtful too! Its hard to mention everyone, but all of our waiters, waitresses cooks and hostesses always greeted us with a friendly smile and went out of there way to be sure we had whatever we needed. This was our third visit and it never disappoints. Our luxurious and comfortable room was oceanfront with chaises both on our patio and on the stunning beach. Great food and friendly service made for a wonderful stay. A shout out to Aleesha whose big friendly smile welcomed us for breakfast, to Shane who made up our chaises and ensured we were never short of towels and Mary Ann our hard working and efficient server in the restaurant. We look forward to the re-opening of Palm Court on our next visit.
