Mini Bar with soft drinks, local and imported beer, water, light snacks, and sweets are available for your enjoyment in the comfort of your room. A few specialty menu items (shown with * in the menus). Service is by the glass (bottles are not included). Includes in-room dining from 7 am to 10 pm subject to a $5 USD delivery and 15% service charge. Some outlets are subject to controlled capacity and permitted occupancy.

We recently held our Annual Meeting at Fairmont Mayakoba, and it was an outstanding experience. Ana Garcia, Director of Events, was incredible to work with, she was organized, communicative, and truly attentive to every detail. She and her team took great care of us and made the entire planning process seamless. The property is beautiful and peaceful, the rooms are spacious and lovely, and all of our meals were excellent, not a single complaint. Our guests had a fantastic time and shared nothing but positive feedback. The only “grumble” was the 60-degree weather during a cold front, definitely not the hotel’s fault, and they did their best to keep our meeting space warm and comfortable. Highly recommend for corporate meetings and events!

Fairmont Mayakoba exceeded every expectation. The resort offers the perfect balance of luxury, calm, and a truly family-friendly atmosphere, without the noise or crowds of all-inclusive properties. Everything feels designed for comfort and peace. The suites are beautiful and full of thoughtful details that make you feel at home. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the team. Alexa García stood out from day one: – exceptional professionalism – fast and effective problem-solving – warm, attentive, detail-oriented service – proactive communication – genuine kindness She made our entire experience seamless and unforgettable. We also traveled with our daughter who has celiac disease, and the level of care throughout all the restaurants was outstanding. We felt truly safe. A special thank-you to Leo from the Hix Lobby Bar, who patiently answered all our daughter’s questions and helped her find gluten-free dishes she loved. Fairmont Mayakoba is not just a beautiful hotel, it’s a place that truly cares for its guests. We will definitely return.

Great location and property. Carlos gave us a lovely boat tour Fairmont Mayakoba is a stunning property with gorgeous landscaping, waterways, and a wide, white sand beach. Food was good, not great at the restaurants that we visited. Service at breakfast was mixed with some excellent staff and some really cold and hostile staff. It was surprising that the popular Italian restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings rather than on a weeknight. That was a disappointment to all of us in the family since we had planned on going there after the wedding we were on site for. The rooms are well appointed. Service at the beach was courteous and excellent, but the water sports staff were rude. On most occasions, it was easy to find a shuttle to go to different points on the property given the vast size. There was one night when we waited 30 minutes for a shuttle and reminded at least seven vehicles that went past that we were at the shuttle stand, waiting for a ride to the beach. It’s only when we said that we were going to escalate it, that a vehicle showed up about five minutes later. This is something to be mindful of in case you have people with mobility issues in your party because the beach was a mile away from our rooms and the restaurants near the beach are a shuttle ride away.

Fairmont Mayakoba went above and beyond to commemorate our special occasion. From the thoughtful surprises to the generous upgrades, the team made us feel truly celebrated from the moment we arrived. The property is breathtaking, and we particularly enjoyed the seamless experience of the golf cart shuttles and the immersive nature of the resort. A true highlight of our trip was the Eco-Boat Tour. It was fascinating to see the local wildlife in their natural habitat—spotting Mexican crocodiles, turtles, and an array of exotic birds through the canals was a memory we will cherish. Furthermore, the culinary offerings were outstanding; we can confidently say the food at Mayakoba is the best we have ever had in the region. While the facilities are world-class, it is your staff that makes the Fairmont experience legendary. We would like to recognize the following individuals for their exemplary service: • Alonso (Mayakoba Service): For his impeccable coordination and assistance with getting us to our dinner reservations as well as take our photos. • Alfonso (Bellman): For his warm hospitality throughout our stay. • Eva (Housekeeping): For her meticulous care and attention to detail in our room and thoughtful touch of leaving personalized notes for us. • Leonardo (Waiter at Gaia): For providing an extraordinary dining experience. • Oscar (Boat Tour): For his incredible knowledge and for making our wildlife sightings so special. • Roberto (Pool Attendant): For his proactive service and for ensuring our relaxation was uninterrupted (we exclusively stayed at the lagoon pool for this reason). Because of the high standard of care we received, Fairmont will now be our exclusive choice when visiting the Cancun area. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The overall stay was “just fine” - but I had MUCH higher expectations for that price point. The food at the restaurants and cafes is also not worth the additional money. The Pros - 1. The staff was generally very friendly, and very customer service oriented 2. The beach venue was pretty fantastic 3. It was pretty quiet and I felt safe in the complex The Cons - 1. I cannot believe that at $850+ a night for a room, they have the audacity to try to charge extra for breakfast 2. The rooms are outdated yet they claim they are renovated because they put a light switch pad in them 3. Hidden fees ALL AROUND - leaving a bad taste in my mouth from beginning to end Overall I came for a wedding and had a fantastic time, but would I ever go back and pay that price point again without a hard reason to be there? ABSOLUTELY NOT
