Mini Bar with soft drinks, local and imported beer, water, light snacks, and sweets are available for your enjoyment in the comfort of your room. A few specialty menu items (shown with * in the menus). Service is by the glass (bottles are not included). We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving week at the Fairmont Mayakoba. It was our first time there and we had family staying at the Rosewood and Banyan Tree. It was a longer trek than we thought it would be to get from one hotel to the other, but it still worked out fine. Our beachside room was conveniently located by the beachside pool and the sand and ocean were beautiful. Breakfast at Brisas was wonderful. Each reservation is assigned a butler (really 2, one for the morning shift and one for the afternoon), which acts as a concierge service. They reach out prior to your stay to offer help making dining reservations, tour reservations, transportation, etc. Ours was a bit confusing because there were two sets of butlers that were emailing me which was overwhelming and when we arrived at the hotel, the two sets of butlers started texting me. It turns out that we were accidentally assigned to two different sets of butlers. The one that we ended up with wasn't as responsive as the other. While they were helpful, it was tough to know if they received our text requests or not. It would be helpful to have a consistent process where butlers confirm receipt of a request and let us know they were working on it rather than waiting until the request is completed to reply, which could be hours. There were times we felt it would be easier to go straight to the source rather than to go through the butlers. We were traveling with a 5 year old and a 9 year old, which made it more difficult to have nice sit-down dinners each night. I would have liked to have a more casual option for dinner that wasn't room service. That all said, it was a lovely trip and we would be more than happy to return.

All the staff front the front to behind the scene was fantastic! Loved the boat tour with Iker! Butler service with Fernanda and Javier was great - they made us reservations to Basano when they didn’t have space! Kids loved the food at Basano and the pool side restaurants. Staff worked really hard all day to keep beach cleared of the sea weed. Very environmentally conscious and every effort made to minimize plastic. Very food allergy/restrictions friendly. Overall experience was exceptional! We will be back!

This is our second time to the Fairmont Mayakoba- and we loved it just as much as the 1st time! Everything about our stay was top notch! We are beach people, and this beach is outstanding! No seaweed, crystal blue warm water, and fine white sand. The beach service and food, outstanding! Big shout out to the water sports team, Heser and Darwin, they took us on the best catamaran snorkelling adventure ever, abundant vibrant schools of fish to be seen! Our 14 year old son was in heaven. We loved the bikes and grabbing one each morning to ride to the beach, pure freedom! Another shout out to the staff at Cafe Maya, making us our custom coffee orders, muchos gracias Elissa! Can’t say enough about how much we love this resort, it is upscale without being pretentious and the staff are so friendly and attentive. We will be back!

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Mayakoba and had the most FABULOUS stay! We are a family of five with children ages 2-8 years old, and have stayed at several high-end resorts in the area. We attribute a lot of our satisfaction with our stay to our phenomenal butlers, Santiago and Joyce! The room that we initially booked just wasn't a good fit for us. Santiago found us an incredible suite near the beach and with a rooftop pool, and he swiftly assisted in moving all of our belongings to our new room while we relaxed on the beach. Santiago and Joyce asked us for our restaurant preferences at the beginning of the week and booked all of our dinner reservations - it was lovely to not have to think, make calls, worry about anything at all! Our room was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff, and they even left baby care items with our crib (diaper pail, soaps, toys). They also suggested some family-friendly activities for us to do, such as a visit to the Pueblo and Cenotes, and a show at the nearby Cirque du Soleil. They booked these for us and we had a blast! The beach and pools were incredible. The restaurants were great - we felt very comfortable dining with our children, and everyone's needs were attended to. Our favorite restaurant was Tauro, where Eric took excellent care of us twice during our stay. We will definitely be back!

This property is beautiful and Mayakoba is really special. I’ve never been to a place like this, where there is free, frequent transportation between hotels and around the common areas. It makes your vacation so much better, to be able to explore around the other hotels, try the bars and restaurants at other properties, and have some cultural experiences right there in the safety of Mayakoba’s gates. We were upgraded to a Signature Casita (thank you Melany and the amazing team at Fairmont!) and it was really lovely. Well appointed, great bathroom with soaking tub, comfortable king bed, ample closets and storage, and lovely Le Labo amenities. Housekeeping did an incredible job and they do turndown service daily which is lovely. We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and they really pulled out all the stops: a special welcome note was in our room and then Melany sent us some traditional sweets and a lovely chocolate cake as well as helped us with our Dia de los Muertos plans and the Mayakoba festivities. We went to MK Blue and they had an incredible celebration with face painting, dancers and stilt walkers, a fabulous boat tour featuring singers and performers, tons of drinks and food, it was absolutely amazing! Service was great at Fairmont, we loved the daily breakfast buffet at La Laguna, the lovely lobby bar with delicious sushi, and Fuego restaurant on the beach. I’d say the food on property could be a lot better quite honestly but we went off property for some meals which was nice. Thank you to the staff, especially Melany, for looking out for us and helping to make our celebration extra special. We felt very cared for by her and it was her personal touch that we will always remember. Muchas gracias!
