We had an incredible week at Excellence Punta Cana to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and we would love to return in the future! The resort itself is beautiful with a long stretch of beach with golden, smooth sand, beautiful grounds, and great pools. The food was a highlight, and we enjoyed all of it. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from, along with a cute coffee/gelato shop. I'm not a buffet person typically, but I even enjoyed the buffet! Reservations are not needed, and that was actually very nice-- we never had to wait long. Drinks were awesome-- my favorite was the Coco Loco, but I liked pretty much everything we tried. We stayed at the club level, and I highly recommend that upgrade. The club bar and restaurant are very nice, and the club pool and beach are worth it. We found great spots on the beach and by the pool, without issue. The staff at this resort are truly exceptional, and the customer service sets this experience apart from competitors-- shout out to Francis, Yessica, Bienvenido, Angel, Erbin, Ezekiel, Hendricks, Einstein, Edwin, and many others for excellent service and warm hospitality. In addition, the housekeeping staff was some of the best we've experienced, and our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the club level pool and the ocean. The overall vibe of the resort is chill and friendly-- we met some wonderful people who we enjoyed getting to know across our week there. It was a very memorable week!

Miguel was great with getting our transfers. Solas bartender Kendrick made wonderful drinks by the pool and beach. Erika was my beach side server all week and she was wonderful. Ricardo was so cheerful and would bring us food to our cabana. Fermin would always make sure I had towels in the morning. Ramon and hector made the best cocktails at the martini bar. Alfonso was a great bartender at the sports bar. Pedro and Andretti helped us with our luggage. Joel in the French restaurant was a wonderful server and I can’t recall her name but the hostess at the French restaurant. always remembered our food allergies. Joy boy was literally a joy to be around. We enjoyed playing bingo with him by the pool. Wonderful resort.

We are just leaving after our third trip here. The service is wonderful. Staff went out of their way to make our stay so relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The property overall is very well cared for, beautiful foliage and comfortable seating throughout the resort. The tomahawk steak at Magna was excellent. We also enjoyed breakfast buffet at The Kitchen Table. Margaritas at Agave were delicious as well. I had the pleasure of going to the spa here as well. Ruth gave me one of the best massages and facial I’ve had. If you book with her you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be back.

Rieson and Juan Carlos are the reason people choose all-inclusive resorts. The entire staff at Excellence Punta Cana is incredibly kind, upbeat, and genuinely happy to be there, but Rieson and Juan Carlos went completely above and beyond for my girlfriend and me. Their energy, humor, and attention made us feel welcomed every single day, not just like guests but like people they truly cared about taking care of. I sincerely hope their manager sees this, because they are a huge part of what makes Excellence so special. On top of that, the food was consistently very good and the service throughout the resort was outstanding. We never once felt crowded, never waited for a table, and never had to stand around for a drink. Everything felt smooth, relaxed, and effortless — exactly what you hope for when booking an all-inclusive. This resort exceeded our expectations, and the staff is what truly sets it apart.

Our stay here was amazing! The staff were all very friendly! Hipolito, Michael, Honey, and Misael were the best. We came here with a big group (11 total), and they were very accommodating. We just had to plan a little further in advance for dinners so they had time to setup a large table. The food was amazing, and there was a good variety to choose from. I would recommend going the Excellence Club route, as you get access to a better bar and beach spot. Overall I would highly recommend booking a stay here!
