Excellence Resort truly lives up to its name; this was by far the best resort I’ve ever visited! Everything about our stay was perfect, from the service and food to the atmosphere. It was the ultimate getaway. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff who made our anniversary so special and unforgettable. Eduardo was absolutely phenomenal; he brought so much energy, fun, and positivity to every activity. His enthusiasm was contagious and truly elevated our experience. Jayden was extremely helpful and friendly. And Sully made our beach day unforgettable with her thoughtful surprises; she made us feel truly celebrated. Our favorite dining experience was at Magna, the exclusive restaurant for Excellence Club members. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server Marvin made the evening even better with his warm and attentive service. That restaurant alone made the club upgrade completely worth it! I can’t say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the staff; they truly made us feel like family. I’m already counting down the days until our next visit!

We spent our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment we arrived, Angie at the front desk made us feel welcomed and happily helped with any questions or small issues that came up. Our days relaxing by the pool were incredible thanks to our concierge team, David and Yeudiel, who always made sure we had everything we needed. Yessi and Rubi were amazing servers — our drinks were constantly refreshed and our glasses were never empty! One highlight was a unique sake tasting that Veronica helped arrange for us. Even though it was an off day, Dania went above and beyond with her knowledge and kindness to make sure we had an authentic, fun tasting experience. Dining throughout the resort was phenomenal, and at the spa, Zuri and Caro took excellent care of us every time. At checkout, Cassandra made the process unbelievably smooth and stress-free. The nightly entertainment deserves its own shout out — the magic show, burlesque performance, circus show, and the high-energy Pure Energy show were all outstanding and added something exciting to look forward to every night. We also highly recommend booking with Seasons Transfers — super smooth and seamless transportation from the airport to the resort and back. And a special thank-you to Gonzalo for setting up an awesome jungle tour excursion that made our trip even more memorable. Excellence Playa Mujeres gave us an unforgettable honeymoon, and we can’t wait to come back!

We had another great experience at EPM. As usual, the staff provided outstanding service. Mauricio and Eli went out of their way to make my wife’s favorite - fish tacos - even though they weren’t on the menu! Juan H and Alejandro M made our morning breakfast experience at The Kitchen Table feel special, providing a friendly, personalized experience that made us feel like we were home. Activities we’ve enjoyed include bike tours, guacamole making, and paint & sip. Jesus and Jayden were outstanding hosts for these. The beach is excellent, with a beautiful view of Isla Mujeres from our pallapa and far less seaweed than we’ve seen at other Mexican resorts. We were never thirsty thanks to Lucy’s attentive service. Finally, the food is excellent with a wide range of choices. Lobster House, the Thursday Mexican Buffet, and the reservation-only Hibachi are stand outs for us.

We visited Excellence Playa Mujeres for the first time in October 2025 and it will certainly not be the last time. Everything was outstanding, especially all of the little details and thought put into the Excellence Club experience. We spent most of our time in the EC beach area, receiving exceptional service from Yudiel, our beach concierge. He was consistently surprising us with lovely gestures (Sand art! Chocolate covered strawberries! A fun beverage in a coconut that looked like a monkey!) and helping us with things we didn’t realize we needed (additional towels for comfort, and moving loungers to a more shaded position after we both make the rookie mistake of getting sunburned on day 1). I highly recommend getting the EC club upgrade so you can enjoy Yudiel’s outstanding service in the EC beach area. My husband loves the beach which is part of why we chose EPM. It was the best beach experience I’ve had in the last two decades. Luis kept us in fresh, cold beverages on the beach, and Cesar made us some excellent drinks at Martini while we were waiting for our room. The rest of the grounds were lovely as well and we enjoyed our dinners. We stayed in building 9 and I would absolutely recommend— it was conveniently located near The Kitchen Table and Aroma coffee bar (my personal favorite), with a very short stroll to the beach area. The turndown service made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to come back!

We are so glad we had the pleasure of spending our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres. We had read so many great reviews beforehand, but this resort completely blew our expectations away. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the beauty of the property — lush, immaculate, and peaceful everywhere you look. The variety and quality of food and drinks were incredible. Every meal felt like a special occasion, and there were so many options that we never ran out of new things to try. The cocktails were delicious, and we could really taste the care that went into every detail. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Sully, José, and Gustavo (just to name a few) were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. Every interaction was filled with warmth and professionalism. Excellence Playa Mujeres lived up to its name in every way. It was the perfect setting to start our married life together, and we’re already dreaming about coming back for an anniversary trip.
