Excellence Resort truly lives up to its name; this was by far the best resort I’ve ever visited! Everything about our stay was perfect, from the service and food to the atmosphere. It was the ultimate getaway. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff who made our anniversary so special and unforgettable. Eduardo was absolutely phenomenal; he brought so much energy, fun, and positivity to every activity. His enthusiasm was contagious and truly elevated our experience. Jayden was extremely helpful and friendly. And Sully made our beach day unforgettable with her thoughtful surprises; she made us feel truly celebrated. Our favorite dining experience was at Magna, the exclusive restaurant for Excellence Club members. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server Marvin made the evening even better with his warm and attentive service. That restaurant alone made the club upgrade completely worth it! I can’t say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the staff; they truly made us feel like family. I’m already counting down the days until our next visit!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was amazing, the environment was so pleasant and relaxing, and our room was so comfortable. What impressed us the most was the staff. The staff are so amazing at what they do. Estéfania from The Kitchen Table and Las Olas was so personable and warm, and she even went out of her way to give us a beautiful view for our lunch since there had not been room for us at Las Olas the day before. Oscar and Alberto from Revive (the smoothie bar), were the best team! They had us laughing, they recommended delicious drinks, and they made sure we were always enjoying something tasty by the pool. Reyes from the Grill and Yumari from the Lobster House were some of the best servers we have ever had. Reyes was constantly beaming with joy to be serving us, and Yumari made sure that we didn’t miss out on the tastiest options. Jesus from the entertainment team is a multitalented and charismatic addition to the entertainment team. We loved his guacamole class and his bracelet making class. My husband and I will never forget our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres thanks to the phenomenal staff. Thank you!!!!

We had another great experience at EPM. As usual, the staff provided outstanding service. Mauricio and Eli went out of their way to make my wife’s favorite - fish tacos - even though they weren’t on the menu! Juan H and Alejandro M made our morning breakfast experience at The Kitchen Table feel special, providing a friendly, personalized experience that made us feel like we were home. Activities we’ve enjoyed include bike tours, guacamole making, and paint & sip. Jesus and Jayden were outstanding hosts for these. The beach is excellent, with a beautiful view of Isla Mujeres from our pallapa and far less seaweed than we’ve seen at other Mexican resorts. We were never thirsty thanks to Lucy’s attentive service. Finally, the food is excellent with a wide range of choices. Lobster House, the Thursday Mexican Buffet, and the reservation-only Hibachi are stand outs for us.

We just returned from Excellence Playa Mujeres, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel not just welcomed, but known. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and effortless — the hallmark of a world-class resort that really understands hospitality. We stayed in the Excellence Club level, and it was worth every penny. Our concierges Yudiel and Lucy were phenomenal — always appearing at the perfect moment with drink refills, fresh towels, and genuine check-ins that made us feel completely taken care of. Their warmth and attention to detail elevated every pool day. The Martini Bar in the main lobby became our nightly stop, thanks to David and Diana, who mixed incredible cocktails and created such a friendly, elegant vibe that it felt like visiting friends. Throughout the resort, bartenders Gustavo and Martín kept the drinks flowing and the smiles coming — everything from frozen cocktails to perfectly balanced margaritas. Dining was exceptional across the board. We were consistently impressed by Gerardo, María, Sergio, Tonatiuh, and Eduardo — each brought humor, warmth, and such professionalism to every meal. Sully, David, and Antonio, and Diego also stood out with their kindness and energy — we honestly can’t thank them enough. Every meal, every drink, every interaction felt like the resort’s team genuinely wanted us to have the best time possible — and we did. The property is stunning, but it’s the people who make Excellence Playa Mujeres live up to its name. We can’t wait to return — and we’re already recommending this resort to everyone we know. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and heartfelt service, Excellence Playa Mujeres is it.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The whole trip was great, but the pool service is what really made it special for us. Yeudiel and Floricel were incredible. They were super friendly, always checked in on us, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask! From food and drinks to conversation they made our vacation amazing. If you’re thinking about staying here, do it. And definitely look for Yeudiel and Floricel. They made our experience unforgettable and we can’t wait to come back :)
