My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was amazing, the environment was so pleasant and relaxing, and our room was so comfortable. What impressed us the most was the staff. The staff are so amazing at what they do. Estéfania from The Kitchen Table and Las Olas was so personable and warm, and she even went out of her way to give us a beautiful view for our lunch since there had not been room for us at Las Olas the day before. Oscar and Alberto from Revive (the smoothie bar), were the best team! They had us laughing, they recommended delicious drinks, and they made sure we were always enjoying something tasty by the pool. Reyes from the Grill and Yumari from the Lobster House were some of the best servers we have ever had. Reyes was constantly beaming with joy to be serving us, and Yumari made sure that we didn’t miss out on the tastiest options. Jesus from the entertainment team is a multitalented and charismatic addition to the entertainment team. We loved his guacamole class and his bracelet making class. My husband and I will never forget our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres thanks to the phenomenal staff. Thank you!!!!

We just returned from an incredible stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres, and I can’t say enough about the amazing service and accommodations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, relaxing, and truly luxurious. A special shoutout goes to Yeidiel and Alberto, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Their attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care made each day feel personalized and special. Whether it was anticipating what we needed before we even asked, offering thoughtful recommendations, or simply greeting us with the warmest smiles, they truly elevated our entire stay. If you’re staying in the Excellence Club, the Building 8 pool is by far the best spot—the it’s the only excellence pool with a bar. We spent so much time there because the atmosphere, service, and comfort were absolutely unmatched. The resort itself is stunning—lush grounds, spacious and spotless rooms, delicious food, and endless options to relax or explore. But it was the exceptional service, especially from Yeidiel and Alberto, that truly made this trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend Excellence Playa Mujeres to anyone looking for world-class hospitality and a getaway you’ll be talking about long after you leave.

This is our second time coming to this wonderful resort. The staff has been exceptional and made our stay 100 times better, and more relaxed than we could’ve thought it would be. We came here for our anniversary and they went the extra mile to make it even more special for us. They have been extremely kind and treated us like family. We couldn’t be more appreciative of Josue and Yesse. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and like we’ve been long time friends. Caesar also made our stay a whole lot more fun and enjoyable. After a few times going to the Martini Bar, he remembered us, knew our drink choice, and would pour them without asking. The staff is very attentive and was always there for anything we needed. We decided to upgrade to the Excellence Club and it was very much worth it. Due to the staff and especially Josue, Yesse and Caesar, we are definitely going to return to the Excellence Playa Mujeres. If you’re looking for a place to forget about work, decompress, and be stress free, this is the place you want to be. I give my upmost gratitude and thanks to the wonderful staff for making this a perfect vacation. If I could, I’d give them 10 stars.

Went here as a girl’s trip. The staff overall was exceptional. Everyone was helpful and remembered you and your preferences. Sully, Eduardo, and Alejandro were especially wonderful. Food was good to great. I loved the breakfast buffet at the Kitchen Table because it had a lot of variety. The weather wasn’t great while there but the staff changed a lot of activities to be inside and make the best of it. We did the Excellence Club and really enjoyed the extra pool and beaches that came with it. The performances and music at night was exceptional. Extremely talented performers and amazing house band. They clearly pull in high quality talent. The circus and magician (different nights) were standouts.

He treated everyone with kindness and made our experience first rate!! Gustavo was our waiter and was also excellent. We had a wonderful day! And many thanks daily to Cesar at the martini bar. We look forward to visiting EPM annually!
