We wanted to take our time researching where to go to on our honeymoon and Excellence Playa Mujeres went above and beyond any kind of expectations we had. We were absolutely pampered with kind staff who made you laugh and smile and felt like you made new friends not just with the staff but others around you too. The environment was so relaxing and so clean, you can only think, “When will we be back?” A very special shout out to Jesus-you are a one of a kind person and we will miss you very much! Thank you for being so kind, personable and wonderful personality to see at our activities. The whole activity group was a joy to spend time with and the activities were great. We will miss you too, Kevin, Sergio, Monica , Brandon and Kevin 2!!! The breakfast crew at the Kitchen Table were so fun to start your day with, especially Tonatiuh and Jorge. Jose at spice was incredibly kind and the food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised at Basmati. It was really delicious and we loved seeing Camila there too. Make sure you’re aware that dinner time gets busy- the easiest times to eat are 6-6:30 and you’ll be eating by 7/7:30. Getting anywhere around 7, you should expect to wait an hour or so before you actually eat. Marlene, Jorge and Oscar at the bar always served us with a smile on their face and were wonderful bartenders. They make you smile so much. We hope to be back and see everyone again! Thank you for an absolutely wonderful vacation and thoughtful environment. We had the best time.

Our stay at the Excellence has been absolutely wonderful! Not one bad thing to say. They wait at your hand and foot, the service is remarkable! Sully, Edgar, Lucy and Rogelio really made this stay luxurious with their amazing service - putting our towels out, bringing us cocktails and food on the beach and even bringing us gifts and surprises! Our room is clean and so nice with the pool right off our patio. Room service is top notch and all the restaurants have been phenomenal. Seriously the best food and service. We haven’t had one bad meal! Definitely and must stay and we will be back! Join the Excellence Club is a must and worth it because of all the perks!

This was a great resort over all! Our favorite experience was the seaside cabana!we had AMAZING service with Josue and Angel! They are the attentive and really kept us happy! Quick service for drinks and snacks! And delicious drinks! The coconut with the blended drinks were amazing.Couldn't have asked for better staff during the seaside cabana! The poolside staff member Roman is also a huge asset! We were blessed with them!

Edgar and Josue at the Excellence Club Pool were absolutely incredible. They took such great care of my husband and me for four consecutive days and truly went above and beyond. Edgar and Josue even helped surprise my husband for his birthday with chocolates and a beautiful sand drawing, which made the experience so special. A huge shout-out as well to Lucy at the Excellence Club Pool—she was bringing us drinks faster than we could keep up! I’ve never seen someone work so hard. Outstanding service all around. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres has been wonderful. The peak of our experience has been and always is the incredible people who spend their time ensuring we have the best time possible. Sully, the concierge on the Excellence Club Beach, put forth SO much effort in helping us to celebrate what we were there for, doing incredible art and bring us drinks and special extras. Always with a smile, so much energy, and genuine joy. The servers of the Excellence pool behind building 9 also ensured we were cared for there, always with a smile and kindness. The rooms are beautiful, very well maintained, well stocked, and always cleaned superbly. As a vegetarian, it can be tricky to find food abroad sometimes, but there is a full plant based menu here with genuinely creative food. I also have several allergies, including Celiac, and all the servers and chefs are diligent about food safety in this regard. The beach is beautiful and clean, sand is soft, and the beds and chairs are plentiful and comfortable - just get there early for a cabana bed! It was a vacation to remember!
