I had a pleasant stay at your hotel with my husband and our two children (aged 3 and 6). Here are the positive points: Well-maintained and clean resort The hotel was not overcrowded Evening entertainment Poolside drink and food service directly to the sun loungers Here are the negative points: The buffet was very monotonous and lacked variety, mostly serving winter dishes (pasta gratin, vegetable gratin, stews, etc.). The food should be adapted to the season. When the choice is limited, what is offered must be perfectly executed. Unfortunately, the meat and fish were too often overcooked. The presentation of the dishes needs improvement – the food didn’t look appetizing. For a 5-star hotel, this is not acceptable. We had rented a car for our stay and took the opportunity to have lunch or dinner outside to satisfy our craving for seafood. Drink service at the table is very slow. While the initial drink order is taken quickly when we arrive at the table, ordering a second drink or a coffee is nearly impossible – we were never served. On several occasions, we left the table without receiving our order. Cleaning: A quick daily clean is acceptable, but for longer stays, more thorough cleaning should be provided. By the end of our stay, our furniture was dusty, as dusting had clearly never been done. Overall, I had a good time, but I won’t be returning.

Euphoria Resort is set in a beautiful location, but the overall experience did not live up to what one would expect from a 5-star all-inclusive property. As a family of four, basic WC privacy in the room should be expected, yet our request for this was denied at check-in and only offered again at the end of our stay, when it no longer made sense. Dining was another letdown. At the Greek restaurant by the sea, no proper alternative to pork was offered — only bread, potatoes, and dip. At the Asian restaurant, the food quality was extremely poor. We eventually canceled our Grill reservation, as we did not want to face yet another disappointing dining experience. In fact, we kept going out to eat elsewhere just to have good food, because the meals at the hotel were such a letdown. Crete is known for its amazing cuisine, and it is truly a shame that this was not reflected at all in the hotel restaurants. The only positives were the breakfast (though repetitive) and the lovely juice bar by the pool. Staff were kind but not trained for a 5-star environment. For example, when we asked for a boat to fit 12 people, we were told we had to take two boats instead, with no alternative offered. Also, beware of the so-called “free” photoshoot offered in the lobby. Ask repeatedly about pricing, as the fees are not transparent. The “all-inclusive” concept itself felt weak. Coffee capsules in the room were limited to four, with extras charged at €2 each — something we have never experienced in any other inclusive hotel, especially one that calls itself 5-star. In brief: this is a family-owned hotel, nicely built and with very kind local staff, but it is not a 5-star experience. They would do much better if they moved away from the “all-inclusive” concept and instead focused on quality of food, service training, and transparent offerings.

Great room, food and nice long hours for food and drinks. Staff is super slow at taking orders, eg coffee in the morning where we are sometimes nearly done, before it arrives. The beach is a stone beach, so not great, but pool is huge, rules are relaxed, atmosphere is great, and lounge areas are really good, with plenty of seating. Can highly recommend the swim-up rooms.

We had a lovely stay at Euphoria and would definitely recommend it, especially for families with children. The architecture and design of the resort are stunning, and the well-kept landscaping areas create a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The food was outstanding—great variety and quality at the main buffet restaurant. The children’s facilities are fantastic: the kids club offers plenty of games and activities, and the water slides were a big hit, sooo much fun! There’s clear attention to detail and to the environmental impact of the premises, with a geothermal power plant and encouragement for recycling and reusable items, and from a personal opinion it’s a big plus. The pebble beach may not be spectacular, but it’s part of the Cretan landscape of this area and still enjoyable. Just a few things that could improve the overall experience: while many staff members were polite and caring, a few could benefit from a more welcoming and professional attitude -including at reception desk. Also, including more English-speaking and children’s TV channels could be a small but appreciated improvement. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we really loved our time there.
