Zumba Comigo
This was my first time at The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences and what an amazing experience I had with my husband. The food was delicious and everything was super fresh. They have a place for everyone and the staff was absolutely amazing! Thank you to the entertainment staff Fernando, Jose, Marcus and Victor. They definitely know how to put a great show together and thank you to NR2GO guest instructor for the fun and energetic Aqua and Zumba classes by the pool. I was so impressed how clean our room was everyday! Karla our housekeeper always did something special in our room. It was so nice coming back to the room after a long day at the beach.

All the staff were super kind and lovely. The entertainment was really fun. Shout out to Jose and Fernando, super friendly and funny! And Bernardo from the brassiere made our breakfast super fun. Julie at the epic pool was very attentive and lovely.
All the food was really nice, good choices!
As a family, we all had such a nice time. Would love to come again and would recommend to anyone!

Stayed in a one room penthouse with the epic collection upgrade for a week from July 15-21 2024. This is basically their VIP package and you are awarded an “ambassador” to set up reservations for dinner and set up your stay. There is a virtual what’s up to check in for questions. We came during a low traffic season apparently, were told the restaurants were all booked and they could only get us in for 2 of the days for dinner. One of those days they screwed up and booked someone else under our name. The other night we waited 30min to get sat still with reservations at 9pm. None of the staff understood the meaning of epic, what was included, and even the wedding party we were with all got different answers.
The food was all the same in all restaurants, just different presentation (same flank steak, same ribs, not great tacos, watered down alcohol). Brought our kids and even the chicken nuggets were dehydrated and would bounce if you tried.
The jacuzzi on top floor was broken and never worked. The promised aromatherapy after each room clean never used. No hot water.
The positive was all the staff were extremely nice all over the resort. The room cleaners, waiters, golf cart drivers, transportation, lobby.
Not sure what AAA is looking at for a diamond resort with this hotel??? Will not return

By far the best resort we’ve stayed at in Cancun or Playa. The staff is extremely friendly, the grounds are very well kept, room was cool and well appointed and the food was fantastic. The food at other resorts has been very sub par but here it was an amazing surprise. We don’t have a single bad meal even on the breakfast buffet.
Notable staff were Antonio and Gustavo. Antonio greeted us when we arrived, helped us with luggage and gave us some sage advise on excursions. Gustavo helped me get a special delivery from a local vendor into the resort and went above and beyond with a special request for our room. We will be back very soon!!!

This is my first time at the fives beach hotel and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Weather, food, hospitality, beach, pools, drink all 5 stars! This hotel gives you luxury whilst being in the middle of the forest. You are almost the wildlife everyday. The resort is kept to an extremely high standard which we all appreciated! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The staff are the biggest asset this resort has to name a few, Juli, Ulises, Arturo, Aldo, Bernardo. We booked trips with the resort and they were all amazing!
