This resort is amazing! All the staff is polite, attentive, and very welcoming. We stayed at the Beach Front Residence which is a new addition to the resort. This part of the resort is an “adults only” section, and it was very peaceful and quiet. You also have full access to all the restaurants and activities going on at the main resort which is great! Hands down the Thai restaurant was our favorite out of all of them and our server Gregorio made it that much better! I highly recommend this resort if you’re traveling with family or trying to get away with your significant other!

Just got back from a wonderful trip to The Fives in Mexico. The trip was for a friends wedding, but we had some extra days to enjoy the resort and relax and unwind. Everything was fantastic, the food and drinks, the weather, the pools, the service… all in all a great time. Our room was okay, comfortable and clean but nothing special and a little small with how the bathroom wasn’t really separate. However the main focus of this post is the food and service, specifically Gregorio who served us at Koh Thai. From the start he was personable and friendly, gave us suggestions on cocktails and menu items and even surprised us with a fancy dessert and fire show! All in all so good!

Almost everything about our stay was perfect. Captain Erik and his Bell boy Crew were awesome and extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone was very pleasant and always had a smile but there were 2 exceptional staff members that stood out to us: our server at Flavours, Bernardo and one of the shuttle drivers, Gaspar. All of the Shuttle drivers were great.
The food was mostly great and the Margaritas were delicious.
The spa services were very relaxing starting with the hydrotherapy sessions. Adriana and Angelica were very professional and the facial/massage were excellent.
We will definitely be back.

Our family’s experience was beyond great! My grandmother and I were there for 5 days for a wedding, and everything was amazing! The service was outstanding, especially the little carts that drove us around from places to places. I would specifically like to recognize Isaac from the cart services. He was super sweet, kind, helpful, my grandmother had unfortunately gone to the trip with a cast on her foot and he would always get in and out of the cart to help my grandmother. Not only him, but the rest of the guys from the cart services were amazing. Events were wonderful, the food, the drinks, everything. We would definitely love to go again in the future!

I have just returned from a fabulous week long vacation at The Fives Beachfront Hotel & Residences at Playa Del Carmen Mexico. This is truly a Five Star Plus experience from the many restaurant choices, all delicious food artfully presented. The staff in all areas of the resort are super friendly, attentive and accommodating. The beach is amazing with many chairs available at any time of the day. The lush tropical landscape is well cared for by the friendly staff. The highlight of my experience were the yoga classes by NRG2GO which were offered at 8:00AM and 5:00PM at the infinity pool location. The classes were professionally taught by Sara - a certified yoga instructor. She was super friendly and offered instruction in many levels of practice. What a way to start the day in this beautiful place in Paradise!!!
