The Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa all-inclusive programme includes the following:
- Buffet breakfast at the Aqua Restaurant (7.30pm to 10.30pm)
- Lunch buffet and a la carte main course at the Aqua Restaurant or a la carte lunch at the Beach Grill Restaurant (both 12.30pm to 3pm)
- Dinner buffet and a la carte main course at the Aqua Restaurant, a la carte dinner at the Beach Grill Restaurant, a la carte set dinner menu (for all villa categories, booking required) at the Amazonico Restaurant or a la carte set dinner menu (for all villa categories, booking required) at Le Asiatique (all 7.30pm to 10.30pm)
- Snacks, soft drinks, selected wine, beer, juices, water, cocktails, tea and coffee served in the Sunset Bar Living and Pool area (10am to 12am)

We had an amazing and wonderful time staying at the Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always helpfu.l Nothing we requested was too hard for them to organise.
The service was fabulous.
Rooms were checked twice a day and were kept spotless.
There is enough space to lay down 2 open suitcases and I don't see enough of this in hotels.
So a huge thanks to Emerald for having planned their space so well.
The main room was well appointed and has a lovely king size bed and a well stocked mini bar.
The ensuite is bigger than many hotel rooms I have encountered.
We chose an over water villa and so also had the luxury of a pool to use with its own outdoor shower.

Absolutely an incredible place. I really dont have the right words to describe just how incredible everything is, but here is a manageable break down of the experience.
My family and i were there for a week long stay. The island is about a 45 min direct shot by seaplane from Male airport. Male airport isnt great but gets the job done. Immigration very friendly and nothing to worry about.
The island is a great size, great agriculture, and the facilities are laid out in a way that it feels bigger than it is.
The kids had their own unique schedule at the kids club, which i would give 5 stars as well. They made friends with the kids and staff there, and left with so many experiences and skills.
Staff on the island is very easy to get ahold of via WhatsApp or their app. Our butler was great at getting us all the bookings. Even though we didnt prebook as many people do.
The food, i would say is where things could be developed. But still very nice though! We found that their buffet restaurant Aqua served the best meals and variations; with lots of live cook stations, which offered different foods every night (with theme). Very very high quality. The others, amazonica was a let down honestly, and so was the asian option which had extra poor service, and both did not do well in theme and food.
Live entertainment is there, but i wouldnt really call it a wow factor.
Though, I did love the maldivian night where it was basically the whole staff shoeing us their culture. It really added a layer of feeling like you were catered to by people who love what they do.
Moving around the island is either by organized buggy ride or bicycle that they provide every villa. I suggest the biking, well groomed paths are a pleasure to go pedal through.
Spa, really deserves a 6 star rating. The gym was equipped in an exceptional way, but does get filled up quite quickly as it isnt very big with just 2 treadmils and one lift station. I did not use their outdoor courts, but they looked great!
Diving center, water sport were both amazing. Strongly recommend the diving here, surrounding islands are unmanned and filled with wildlife. The tubing at water sports is a great way for the family to have a group expereience thrill.
Overall, thank you emerald and staff, we are already planning when we can come back again.

Amazing place. Service excellent, pure luxury. If I was to have any criticism I’d say the food doesn’t quite match up to the standard of the rest of the resort. Appreciate its “all inclusive”, but the food menus lacked a bit of variety at times and sometimes the buffet food wasn’t very warm.
The staff are super helpful and the beaches/pool are just wonderful. Think there are about a max of 300 guests on the island, and you feel it’s very quiet and there is never a feeling of overcrowding. The pool area it was easy to get beds.
Had a great gym, open 24hrs.
Did a trip to see dolphins which was a 30min boat ride from island.
Be aware you need a sea plane to get on/off island and these have to be paid separately.

I reserved a water villa for two nights and a beach villa for one night. They kindly upgraded us to a water villa for the entire three-night stay at no extra cost.
