The water villas are wonderful. I had the hot tub and used it a lot. The room service is great and I was super happy with my room attendant and the gym staff. I enjoyed being served by Nittin and Samah at the buffet. On the flip side, the hotel should have separate sections for families with children and adults only sections. The reception desk should be more attentive to guests wishes and coordinate any travel decisions with the guests vs making assumptions on their behalf. The water around the resort isn't much blue as the more southern Maldives islands.

A huge part of what made our stay so exceptional was our personal host, Wisham. He went above and beyond in every possible way. He is always attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. As a newly married couple, we were touched by the thoughtful surprises he prepared for us, from romantic arrangements to little details that made us feel truly celebrated. Wisham didn’t just manage our stay, he elevated it and made our honeymoon feel personal and unforgettable. The experiences and food were equally outstanding. From crystal-clear waters and snorkeling to beautifully prepared meals across all restaurants, every day felt indulgent and special. We were lucky to snorkel with a sea turtle, and we were blessed by a bunch of playful dolphins around our boat. Throughout our honeymoon, we felt cared and blessed. Emerald Maldives is a perfect honeymoon destination, and with exceptional hosts like Wisham, it becomes something truly extraordinary. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Emerald Resort & Spa in the Maldives with my wife and our son, and it was truly one of the most beautiful vacations we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The check-in process was smooth and well organized, and throughout our entire stay the staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional. Every team member – from reception to housekeeping to the restaurant staff – went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our overwater villa was simply stunning: modern, spacious, impeccably clean, and offering breathtaking views of the turquoise ocean. Waking up every morning to the sound of the sea was an unforgettable experience. The daily housekeeping service was flawless and very thoughtful. The culinary experience at the resort was outstanding. There was a wide variety of international and local dishes, all prepared with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the fresh seafood and the diverse breakfast selection. Every meal felt like a special occasion. The natural beauty of the island is beyond words – crystal-clear water, soft white sand, and an incredible underwater world. Snorkeling directly from the beach was a highlight, and we were even lucky enough to see dolphins. Our son absolutely loved the kids’ activities and entertainment options, which made the stay enjoyable for the whole family. The spa, water sports, and overall facilities were all first-class and perfectly maintained, adding even more relaxation and fun to our holiday. An Unforgettable Honeymoon at Emerald Maldives Our honeymoon at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. If perfection exists for a honeymoon, this was as close as it gets. For us, it was a genuine 10/10 experience, and honestly, we don’t even want to imagine something better. A special thank you goes to our host, Wisam (many guests know him as “Wisham,” but his actual name is Wisam!). He was exceptional throughout our stay. He organized three wonderful evening experiences for us, always made sure every detail was taken care of, and consistently went above and beyond to make our honeymoon feel personal and memorable. The most touching moment came before our departure, when he gifted us a beautiful handmade artwork that he had created himself. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that we will always remember. What impressed us just as much was that this level of excellence wasn’t limited to one person. Every member of the Emerald team was professional, warm, and genuinely dedicated to creating an unforgettable guest experience. You can feel the pride they take in their work. The resort itself is stunning. The crystal-clear waters, beautiful beaches, incredible marine life, and outstanding restaurants made every day feel special. We enjoyed amazing snorkeling experiences, saw sea turtles, and were lucky enough to encounter playful dolphins during one of our excursions. Beyond the natural beauty, the wellness experiences were outstanding. We trained with a fantastic personal trainer for three days, participated in an Aqua Jog session with another excellent trainer, attended yoga and meditation classes, and enjoyed a wonderful couples massage at the spa. Every activity was delivered with the same level of professionalism and care that defines the entire resort. Emerald Maldives gave us the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, wellness, and romance. More importantly, it gave us memories that we will cherish forever. For anyone considering a honeymoon destination, we cannot recommend Emerald Maldives highly enough. It was everything we hoped for and more, and we will undoubtedly return one day.
