The Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Buffet breakfast at the Aqua Restaurant (7.30pm to 10.30pm)
  • Lunch buffet and a la carte main course at the Aqua Restaurant or a la carte lunch at the Beach Grill Restaurant (both 12.30pm to 3pm)
  • Dinner buffet and a la carte main course at the Aqua Restaurant, a la carte dinner at the Beach Grill Restaurant, a la carte set dinner menu (for all villa categories, booking required) at the Amazonico Restaurant or a la carte set dinner menu (for all villa categories, booking required) at Le Asiatique (all 7.30pm to 10.30pm)
  • Snacks, soft drinks, selected wine, beer, juices, water, cocktails, tea and coffee served in the Sunset Bar Living and Pool area (10am to 12am)
  • Soft drinks, selected wine, beer, juices, water, cocktails, tea and coffee served in the Aqua Restaurant

Paradise on earth: We had a wonderful stay for 6 nights as a family of 6, 2 adults, 3 teenage and a child, we travelled for the second time to Maldives and it was our first time to Emerald selected by my eldest daughter for who's 16th birthday we travelled and I have no words to describe the stay, hospitality, food and the courteous staff. It was beyond words, everything was superb. Rohit, their General Manager, such a gem of a person and he is everywhere. Always greeting the guests, welcoming, saying good bye, checking on us and other guests. Jean, our main person during our stay, she is such a wonder lady and always available. They are so organized, every morning we as a family had a wattsapp group with Jean and we would get days schedule. Restaurants are with amazing foods, fresh fruits and drinks, cocktails just woww, cant say enough and the hospitality of the staff every where. Restaurant staff are so kind and friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay, weather was a bit hot but extremely pleasant towards the evenings and last 2 days of our stay it became extremely nice and it rained. We stayed ion water villa and did photo shoot, that also turned out amazing. Love love loved it. They had provided us with cycles and it added so much fun for us.

We absolutely loved Emerald Maldives! First thing to mention was the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our host Sid was very kind, always smiley and incredibly efficient. If something is not right they will do everything they can to sort things out. The rooms were beautiful —super clean, spacious, really comfortable. We stayed few days on a water villa which was fantastic and then to a beach pool villa which was spectacular. It honestly felt like a little paradise. The food was excellent across the board, but the standout for us was the Asiatique restaurant—everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Such a great variety and really high quality. We looked forward to every meal! I read some reviews where people complained about the plastic boards in front of the food at Aqua buffet, but to be honest I am so grateful the resort continue to keep this protection in place for hygienic reasons. This is so much cleaner and makes the buffet a better experience. We also found Aqua buffet very good with such a variety of options all made with great care. One of the highlights was the in-house reef—it was beautiful and so easy to access. We spent hours snorkeling and exploring the vibrant underwater life. Just incredible! Having an accessible reef was a key condition for us since we didn’t want to rely on expeditions for exploring the reef. Emerald didn’t let us down. We also went to a couple of expeditions (turtle hunting and the complimentary fishing one) and they were both great experiences! Staff keeps the beaches and the landscaping with great care, everything was impeccable. We also loved cycling around the island with the bicycles. Kids had so much fun! Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.

It was a dream come true. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, we completely switched off our minds—Emerald’s staff takes care of everything down to the smallest detail, so all you have to do is enjoy the experience. The villas are stunning and impeccably clean, the sea is simply unbeatable, the restaurants are excellent, and the extra experiences are truly amazing. The staff’s kindness and attentiveness are on another level—you feel pampered from the very first moment. The resort’s attention to detail is remarkable, from the fully equipped rooms to the thoughtful touches like complimentary beach bags and swimwear for guests. We were especially lucky to have Wisham as our villa host—he took care of us throughout our stay, always going above and beyond. He was kind, professional, and attentive to our needs, always present without ever being intrusive. His presence made our stay even more magical, especially with the romantic surprises he arranged for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Absolutely recommended for a dream vacation, whether you’re a couple (like us, who spent our honeymoon here) or a family. We can't wait to go back!

Spent an amazing 10 days here for my wife s 50th Birthday - service and staff are amazing they have real Empathy a quality missed by most 5 star hotels . Sea trips / excursions were superb and well priced. We loved riding the Bikes around the island - good Gym facilities and excellent tennis coach / also had a great bamboo massage here - this is a constructive review and I have only 2 minor gripes - the suncream in the local shops is overpriced we paid $55 for a factor 30 spray and at night there is a cinema club on the beach which is too loud if you are nearby and trying to sleep . We will definitely be back - PS Aiman said he would let us know when the turtles have hatched and he hasn't responded - please let us know .

We have been lucky enough to stay at some of the best hotels in the world and generally each country has one or two well known ones. When we decided to honeymoon in the Maldives there was a vast choice of highly rated hotels, but it was very difficult to choose one because every hotel review seemed to say how excellent the hotel was. Eventually we spoke to a friend who had recently visited the Maldives and whilst not having stayed at Emerald had heard that it was a special place. So we took a chance and booked a water villa with a pool, and what a holiday we had….. One person made this place absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived by sea plane to welcome us, to the moment that we left to say goodbye – Rohit Chhettri the General Manager. Over the time we stayed at Emerald, he was visible throughout the day by the beach, by the restaurants … just making sure that the guests were having a great time. He was completely invested in the Emerald fantastic customer service philosophy and his attention to detail was exceptional. This attention to detail and friendliness is reflected in the staff below him. There are around 400 staff on the island who live and work together 24/7 and are like a big family, the service offered reflects this. They are so friendly and helpful whether it’s the gardeners, or the waiters, or the dive team…..The restaurant teams under the supervision of KD (who was a copy of Rohit!) were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was done with a smile. There were so many things to love about Emerald generally, but above all of these things, we truly felt recognised and valued as a guest by everyone. I would agree with what all of the positive reviews say about the resort, and won't repeat these, suffice it to say that everything was perfect. The people at Emerald were truly exceptional, and the atmosphere they created was something that made our stay unforgettable. The staff's dedication to ensuring every guest feels special stood out to us the most. Their warm greetings, attention to detail, and genuine smiles created a welcoming environment that felt like home. The ambience, coupled with the stunning natural beauty of the Maldives, made our honeymoon an experience we will cherish forever. Thank you to Rohit and the team – we will return.
