First and Foremost the service here.. EXCELLENT! Service with a smile, the staff love to have a laugh and a joke and genuinely prefer to have a chat - food especially the breakfast and lunch excellent. The room is spotless, bed is huge and very comfy, the air conditioning is bliss especially when it’s a touch under 40° here like it’s been this week. And finally the hotel design and pool are beautiful. I genuinely don’t have a single thing to say that’s bad about this hotel. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Unfortunately, customer experience needs a lot of improvement
Before we arrived, we sent an email to let the hotel know that we are celebrating engagement, med school graduation, and also my birthday.
We asked for an early check-in, which wasn't possible, and I can understand.
Upon arrival- we said again that we are celebrating our engagement. We are 2 girls, and we thought that the hotel was progressive enough to treat us like a straight couple. Its either that or they usually do not give any attention to engagement or celebration to any couple. Either way- whether its lgbt thing or not, very bad experience from 5 hotel stars. They also give you a fill out form and ask over there - is there an anniversary to celebrate? Which i marked as yes. They declined our request for an upgraded room even for 1 night (which was available on web site)- also, I can understand.
What I can not understand is the fact that they didn't even leave us a "congratulations for the engagement" note. Nothing. Totally ignored our celebrations. It made us feel really unwelcome cause we told them about that 3 times and still nothing. Even when we thought about changing our flight to a later one and asking regarding late check out- they claimed 90 euros (why?)
I must say that the chef was great, and also the waitresses at the pool. It's unfortunate that for 3 days, we were walking with the feeling that they totally disrespect us as a couple.also- the bed sheets weren't clean, the towels had hair on them. The room is fill with dust, like the curtains had never been cleaned before.
Upon check out- the reception guy didn't even asked us- "how was your stay?" First time in my life that I'm leaving a 5 star hotel and they don't ask you how was your holiday. I guess he didn't care. So I'm letting you know now like that. Hope you will learn from that to act everyone equally.

We had an amazing experience here. The room was huge with 2 porches. The staff are wonderful and super helpful. The pool is incredible and the food is amazing both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located in a quiet town 20 minutes from the Heraklion airport. The whole experience was super relaxing and positive. The hotel is very clean we will definitely be back.

A stunningly beautiful modern hotel situated in a wonderful location. The only thing that matches the quality of the venue is the staff. Some of the most attentive, polite and cheerful hospitality workers I have ever met and I have travelled all over the world 🌍
