The place is magic and our happy place. The rooms are spacious, you have you own pool and the views are simply spectacular. The areal is huge and it’s not crowded. The beds are comfortable and you can choose the cushions you feel most comfortable with. The food is simply delicious and you can drink cocktails even in the pool, if you like to. But the real gems are the people. You always feel welcomed, feels the warmth and passion. And that the highest value of this place. If you have the chance to go there do not hesitate, you are going to love it.

My husband and I just love Elounda Peninsula All Suites Hotel. This is our third time here since 2019 and we were amazed! Even though we think it is perfect here, each visit we have noticed changes that make this place even more special. It appears obvious to us Elounda Peninsula is always striving to make their guest experiences even better. The facilities are second to none with a fantastic beach and wonderful pool area. There is an are for children and water sports as well. My husband also enjoyed the resort’s golf course while I enjoyed a massage and facial at the spa. The Six Senses Spa is a destination in itself. A beautiful zen retreat that left me relaxed yet energized. The ginger tea and snack afterwards is just one of many ways this resort goes above and beyond. We stayed in the Peninsula Collection Suite. This two-floor accommodation is luxurious but very functional. With a private pool on the lower floor and a roomy balcony on the top floor we were able to enjoy the beautiful views of Mirabello Bay. The bed and bedding were so comfortable that we had n excellent sleep each night. Since our last visit, we noticed two new concept restaurants and changes to the other restaurants menus which we really enjoyed. All of this, along with great room service, gave us many delicious dining options. In addition, they have their own craft beer which was excellent! All in all, the people are what really makes this resort stand out . We were always greeted with a smile and a warm hello. Staff worked hard to help us and give us information whenever the need arose. Loved chatting with the various staff members. They were even patient with me as I tried to communicate in my very rudimentary Greek! Truly great Cretan hospitality and Greek ‘Philoxenia’. We can’t wait to return!

If you've never been to Crete, the Elounda Peninsula Resort & Spa alone is reason enough to visit. This sprawling paradise not only sets the standard for luxury resorts but also for hospitality and service. Every staff member, from Stavros and Panos to Klesei, Maria, Jason, Stravola, Alexandros, Nikolas, Giorgios, and Vasia, exuded the kind of warmth and professionalism that turns a stay into an unforgettable experience. The spa is a Six Senses-branded oasis that elevates wellness to an art form. With top-notch therapists and outstanding amenities, it's a sanctuary for both body and soul that stands head and shoulders above most spa experiences. When it comes to dining, every restaurant on the property is a culinary gem. I had the pleasure of visiting during the opening week of their newest addition, SUMOSAN. Tucked away in a quiet alcove of the hotel, this Japanese restaurant offers not just incredible food but an intimate and serene atmosphere as well. However, the crown jewel has to be IL BORRO TUSCAN BISTRO, owned by the world-renowned Ferragamo family. Their truffle pizza alone could easily claim the title of the best in the world. The revamped pool area is another highlight, its seamless landscaping transforming it into a genuine escape. Elies restaurant comes alive at night and is an experience not to be missed—just make sure to pre-order the lobster for the freshest dining experience. Even room service maintains the high culinary standards set by the restaurants, although I would advise against the poke bowls at the pool bar (however the Smoothies are amazing). What sets Elounda Peninsula Resort & Spa apart is its sense of community. Spread across multiple properties, you never feel isolated but always secure and well-taken care of. Whether you opt for a leisurely walk along the gorgeous grounds or a quick golf cart ride, you're always just a moment away from another delightful experience. I sincerely hope this resort gains affiliation with a larger global chain brand or even becomes a Six Senses property in its own right. It deserves a spot on the World's Top Luxury Hotels list without question. It's easily the best hotel in Crete, a top contender in Europe, and outstanding on a global scale. This place is unparalleled in so many ways… A spectacular setting with stunning views. Incredibly friendly and intuitive staff. Delicious breakfast (included) and great restaurants in the general area. A crystal-clear-watered, quaint private beach. Beautiful and brand-new suites that feel considered and tasteful. Can’t wait to come back one day.

It was a wonderful week! Very well located, very clean and nice suites with saltwater pools. Really friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely tasty food at the restaurants but of course more expensive than restaurants outside the hotel. Only two things are not at the level of the house: the gym is just a storage room where almost nothing is working and the place where the breakfast is served: needs an overhaul and get more up to date! Thank you for everything!
