Super friendly people, whether at reception, the bar, or the restaurant. Whether gardeners or technicians. Only friendly people! The island is a dream, both the water bungalows and beach bungalows are great. We had both. Personally we prefer the beach bungalows. The food in the restaurant is also very good! The house reef is the best we have experienced in the Maldives so far. The only negative point is the day tourists and their behavior.

I travelled to Ellhaidoo in February 2026, especially because of the diving center “Dive and Sail”, which is directly located within the resort Ellhaidoo Maldives by Cinnamon. I was doing 8 dives and a snorkelling tour. The diving club is super good, the organisation and everything. A very special thanks is for SHIFAZ IBRAHIM as diving guide, which I highly recommend. He is absolutely fantastic!!! He takes time to talk with you about your own individual diving needs and he guides you through the diving spots with the best assistance you can offer in the diving branche. He is very patient, professional, flexibel and friendly so you feel very secure under water and as diver. SHIFAZ made me having a great diving holiday and he made us discover the most wonderful underwater places of the Maldives. We will surely come back to have some more dives with SHIFAZ. Absolutely 10/10 over and under water!! The staff is super helpful and lovely. The island is stunning, the accomadation is perfect, food is super delicious and the house reef is amazing. You gonna the quite everything the Malediven has to offer! The most relaxing holiday we ever had!! Thank you so much, especially for the water bungalow upgrade ☺️

I had an amazing two weeks in Ellaidhoo! The staff made my holiday so special they couldn’t do enough for me! All so welcoming and friendly making sure I had the best experience ever! The island is so beautiful bursting with sea life! I enjoyed snorkelling on the stunning house reef where I saw so many different species of fish, sharks, turtles and rays. Having a chance to observe them in their natural habitat was a truly magical experience. I also went night snorkelling twice as it was so good the 1st time! I got to see many other species and the sharks are much more active at night! I witnessed a white tip reef shark hunting fish in and out of the corals which was so exciting! I also went on a Manta ray snorkelling excursion which was truly mine blowing, so many graceful swirling twirling giant Manta rays gliding within inches of me! I stayed in a stunning sea view bungalow within a couple of feet of the warm ocean. The food was delicious with a different theme each evening. I went to the seafood beach BBQ twice as it was so delicious the 1st time! There was a live band or a DJ playing each evening and a white party on the main beach! I enjoyed watching the staff football match and cheering on Sobah our amazing and very attentive waiter! I also enjoyed playing badminton and kayaking around the island. Thank you to all the staff for making my time in Ellaidhoo so special I hope to return soon!

A special thank you to Ann and Gasim for their exceptional hospitality. Ann was always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel welcomed from the very first day. Gasim went above and beyond to help with anything we needed, always with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made our stay unforgettable.
