It's definitely a place I would go back to - well done!
Gym - very decent for a hotel gym and has decent free weights section.
House reef - absolutely brilliant, one of the best I have seen. Plenty of fish, lots of friendly sharks and overall great for snorkeling. You just can't get enough.
Diving - the dive center is a bit of a disappointment, I have written a specific review about it. The price tag doesn't match the service offered.
Food - varied, lots of different options, live cooking stations as well. Generally the food is high quality, i enjoyed the variety. The most unpleasant thing was the salad bar organization - you had to queue to get a salad, done real time. The idea is great but waiting for 15 minutes twice a day to get a bunch of veggies was a very bad experience. By the time I get the salad my food is cold. You should either get more people to make salads, pre cut everything, or just make it selfservice bar. I just can't
stress enough how frustrating this was.
Entertainment - lots to do, live music, pool table, table tennis, darts. Some nice romantic walks around the island. It's not a party scene but you will not die from boredom for sure.
Staff - mostly great. We had a really bad experience when we requested umbrellas one of the nights it was pouring down. I called the reception and no umbrellas came, had to call again and this time I was left on hold for 10 minutes, so I had to call for third time. This isn't the type of service you would expect from this price tag. Other than that most folks were super nice and definitely enjoyed chatting to them.
Special occasion - they took into account my birthday, decorated and got a cake for me. Very much appreciated.
Rooms - very adequate but it was a bit dated, it could definitely do with a lick of paint
All in all, a great place, I will be back and I can recommend it.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon. Joie and the rest of the staff were very attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Loved the Watervilla, snorkeling, scuba diving and the food a lot!

Definitely a resort for some of the best diving in the Maldives. Very attentive staff, excellent food, aircon in the rooms(a must). It's what ever you want your holiday to be and their gym isn't bad either.

Smoking Resort! But is very well desigmed with huge lagoon pool, overwater bungalow no steps down to water to swim or snorkel off, have to walk back to resort. Meal times poorly timed 7:30 to 9:30 breakfast, 12:30 to 2:30 lunch and 7:30 to 9:30 dinner. Alacarte menu remains the same for the whole month. No food available between 2:30 and 7:30 except awful snacks.. Snorkelling is awesome although limited to one section outside lagoon which can get rough fabulous
Dive centre customer service is very poor plus they charge for snorkelling gear on snorkelling trips... They also charge tax, service charge on trips and gear where the rest of resort don't.
Transfers watch your timing, our return fligjt was scheduled for 7:30am for a 1pm flight... Breakfast did open early but not much available...No coffee bread pastries etc but eggs and some cooked food.
In room fridge beer free not wine!

beautiful destination, the beach and the sea is amazing. The people here are very nice and will help you with anything. Even the island is not very big, the places are not overloaded. Tried first time snorkeling here and the underwater world is awesome. The views and surroundings varies, we got a very beautiful bungalow at the beach side, on the other side it isn't that good. There is every evening a Entertainment, good music every time. They very into reducing plastic and tried to ban it from the island, there is an opportunity to see behind the scenes, they will give you a guided tour, which is very cool. Time flies to fast here.
