The Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon standard all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Lunch (12.30pm to 2.30pm)

  • Snacks three times daily in (morning – 10.30 to 11.30, evening - 4pm to 5pm and night - 10.30pm to 11.30pm)
  • Selection of alcoholic beverages including cocktails, draught beers, house brand alcohol and house poured wines (9am to 12midnight)

3 stars Beautiful island with an absolutely stunning house reef – perfect for snorkeling and diving. The scenery is breathtaking, and the Dive & Sail dive center is a true highlight with professional and passionate instructors. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in other areas. The buffet gets repetitive quite quickly – it would be great to see more variety, especially for longer stays. The service at the reception was unfortunately disappointing. We asked multiple times about our late departure, but our questions were just smiled away without any real answers. On the last day, we finally got the transfer time – far too early in the morning – and it was obvious that our concerns hadn’t been taken seriously. In the end, we just sat around on our departure day waiting for hours for the transfer to Malé. An absolute disaster. Amazing dive center, beautiful location, but in terms of service (reception) and food, there’s still a lot of potential to improve. We sincerely hope this review is taken seriously.

Not the typical Maldives resort. The service is only so-so. The beaches are almost non-existent. Our beach villa was fine, but too close to the pool and often noisy. No outdoor shower, although I see they left a drain for one. Food is good, very good variety and of decent quality for the price. The restaurant could be overcrowded at times. Their reef is great and is the only reason to come back to this place. Some wildlife on the resort as lizards, flying foxes, different birds. In general we enjoyed it but there's a lot of room for improvement.

Great hotel on the paradise. Stuff super excellent for skills and courtesy. We got the all included and beyond breakfast, lunch and dinner also unlimited open bar was available. The variety and the good level of food was very appreciated in both the restaurants as well the snacks at bar. Rooms large and very clean. Perfect for sweet vacation.

Fellow holiday makers, this is an absolutely awful place with most disgusting behaviour from staff. I saw them verbally abusing a customer for a mistake the staff made (in front of other customers). Perhaps they were afraid of getting in trouble so they tried to pass the buck. Also this place takes in hoards of non resident customers for day trips which makes the island very busy. They were in spread out in front of peoples beach huts - the island holiday makers were visibly dismayed by this. Food is mediocre. The worst being what appeared like microwave chicken nuggets for afternoon tea- I kid you not. It is not a particularly attractive island either. Do better with your money, friends. I deeply regret coming here. The staff should be ashamed of themselves but from reviews I have read on other sites this is common behaviour. The people who review this place favourably must be easily impressed with mediocre and favour microwave food. Coming to the Maldives is a lengthy journey and a costly one, don’t shortchange yourself for a place like this. There are far superior places you can spend the same at.

I went in November 2023 and it's the best holiday I have ever been, and will return as soon as I'm able. The water bungalow was beautiful (note - there is coral/rocks under bungalow so you can't go straight from your deck to the water, but there are stairs into the sea directly at the start of the walkway so not an issue). Sohag looked after our room daily and kept it pristine. The snorkeling was absolutely fantastic and was the main way we spent our time. I did not go diving but did go on the guided night snorkel with the dive team, which I strongly recommend - the current was strong but we saw so much wildlife we would not have seen otherwise. The resort is very environmentally conscious which is a huge draw, and aims to minimise plastic waste wherever possible. Also, the staff were fantastic - Osanda on the bar was so friendly and lovely to chat to while getting drinks, and Aisha took great care of us for our private beach dinner. Thanks also to Unaish and Igbal! Finally, the food was phenomenal. I'm vegetarian and there was always plenty of choice, and the chef would come round to check I was happy with the selections and offered to cook me something fresh if not. Absolutely zero complaints about any aspect of this trip.
