A good hotel in a beautiful location and with excellent amenities. We stayed in a swim-up room in the Xenia complex. The room was clean but definitely showed some wear. Breakfast was great - a wide range of foods and all very tasty. However, I think one of the things that lets the hotel down is its restaurants. They are very expensive (around €5 more than the other restaurants in the area) and the selection of food was disappointing. Also, we found it weird that half the menu was ‘frozen’ - when you are eating calamari looking out at the sea, why would you want frozen squid? The hotel’s beaches were lovely and the sun beds were very comfy. There are 4 beaches to chose from, so you are spoilt for choice. However, again, we found the food to be disappointing and overpriced. The service on the beach was also slow and the staff were inattentive. This was in contrast to the staff at breakfast who were always very friendly. Overall, this is a good hotel but definitely not 5* with the food and service letting it down.

Very nice location and lovely beach. However, the hotel needs a lot of improvement. The staff at reception could be warmer and more attentive. The rooms were very dirty and no bedsheet were changed on time despite our requests. The breakfast buffet had a good variety but nothing was covered and flies were everywhere. Unfortunately, the hotel food was overpriced and of poor quality. The hotel has great potential for improvement, but it is not there yet.

They lied to us that they had separate beds. The rooms were not cleaned well there was dirt in the corridor and hair on the bathroom floor, the room was extremely disappointing and definitely not worth for what we were paying. There were kids screaming and dogs barking-it was loud so you couldn’t get a good nights sleep. The beaches were packed, beautiful but expensive and not very enjoyable. When we arrived it was late and we were tired from travelling and the greeting was not very accommodating because they started talking to us about the beaches and not whether we are hungry and arrange dinner or bring us welcome drinks so long story short it showed that they didn’t have experience in the hospitality business. From the four or five restaurants in the hotel which we all tried the only dish that actually tasted good was the lobster pasta in the fish restaurant the rest of the food in all of the restaurants was tasteless and bad also again I couldn’t say anything good about the staff so overall the food and restaurants were bad and I wouldn’t recommend.We were disappointed and definitely not satisfied and not coming back.

We had a perfect holiday. The location is magical! Great stuff, great food and cocktail’s. We stayed at Grace , 1 minute walk to the private beach. Another 3 beaches to choose! The Nest Restaurants toped up our experience eating really good fish and seafood dishes. The staff very friendly, attentive making the holl experience magical. We highly recommended it and we are considering to visit it again!

Very nice resort on the coast of Skiathos. Enormous property (800+ acres) so come prepared to walk a lot of take advantage of their golf cart shuttles. The staff is very helpful and really friendly. We had lunch at the Fish restaurant which is really pleasant atmosphere and good food. The public bus picks up at the bottom of the driveway (stop 26, Koukounaries beach) and will get you to Skiathos town or anywhere in between. 3 Euro per person, each way. Would definitely recommend Elivi for friends heading to Skiathos!
