Disappointing – Not Up to 5-Star Standards We had high expectations for Elivi Skiathos, but unfortunately, we were let down in many areas. For a 5-star hotel, there is a lot of room for improvement. Our room was located at the very end of the resort. While that wasn’t an issue in itself, everything took significantly longer from there—whether it was the buggy service or room service. Waiting times were the norm. At one point, we waited 45 minutes just to receive an iron, which is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this level. On the very first afternoon, we ordered drinks—the glasses were still left outside our door after four nights, despite us informing reception twice. Similarly, a bag of used towels remained in front of our entrance until we again had to inform reception to have it removed. This kind of neglect is not what you expect in a 5-star environment. The staff overall did not seem particularly warm or welcoming. We often felt like a burden rather than valued guests. Our room had repeated technical issues in the mornings—between 6 and 9 AM the lights would randomly switch on and off. When we reported it, there was no apology or concern, just a cold response that it would be “passed along.” At checkout, we were basically pushed out of the room with a blunt “When can we collect your luggage?” No one asked about our stay, no farewell—just a rushed goodbye. This is not the level of service you’d expect at this price point or star rating. A beautiful location, but sadly, much work needs to be done when it comes to service, communication, and attention to detail

Lovely 7 day stay in May. Beautiful beaches with comfortable sunbeds, Banana beach the preferred for second half of the day where you can relax & enjoy stunning sunsets. Modern hotel in beautiful leafy surroundings, wonderful gardens and superb facilities. Breakfast very good with excellent selection and chef on hand to prepare eggs how you like them. Delightful staff, special mention to Michael on Reception who made our stay so much more comfortable and always with a smile and Claudio too all for his help. Room lovely - comfortable bedding, good shower and excellent coffee facilities. Only slight downside was air con as the room felt too humid - but just might be as it’s the beginning of the season?? Overall, a hotel that we’d love to return to.

The hotel is in a fab location at the other end of the island to the town and airport . It has 4 accessible beaches with their own very good sunbeds and food facilities . Sea is crystal clear . There is various rooms from good with their own hot tub to what appears to be private rooms with their own pool over looking the sea . Breakfast is buffet style but excellent . Dinner, there is choice of Asian and Greek restaurants . More expensive than the local tavernas but the Greek we tried was very good . Goats cheese starter and lamb ragu both recommended .

Wedding September 2024. My wife and I got married at Elivi in September 2024 with 180 guests. We started preparing our wedding 1 year in advance and got in touch with Sophia, who is responsible for weddings at the hotel. She was fantastic from day one listening attentively to our wants, needs and constraints and genuinely making going above and beyond to accommodate all of this. Having searched a few different locations Sophia was by far the most attentive to our needs and wants. We had our wedding dinner at the nest area and moved for the party to the Blackbird. The staff during the evening were all very professional and it genuinely felt like it was not just another workday for them but they were there to make it the best day possible for us. Despite some adverse unpredictable events the Elivi team truly went above and beyond. It was an incredible combination from the team of professionalism and personal attention. Fatjona and Sophia are a dream team, both during the preparation and the wedding day, ensuring that everything was perfect. For example, there was some last minute, unexpected rain and close to midnight they organised for a truck to bring a large, concrete base umbrella down to blackbird to protect the music equipment. Thankfully in the end it was not necessary, but having a team like that lead your wedding day is a fantastic feeling. Another example is then mobilising extra staff to bring all of our guests down to blackbird with extra vans and buggies to ensure a quick transition! The food was also incredible. Chef Argiris organised an incredible tasting for us, that left us speechless. The wedding was itself a clash of cultures and we wanted that represented through the food. Big success! He also organised stunning dishes for the guests with dietary requirements. Likewise the wine was excellent and the drinks at the open bar were fantastic. They say that during your wedding you should feel like the guest of honour and not the organiser. Sophia, Fatjona, Argiris and the rest of the Elivi team truly made that happen for us. We also stayed the night before at the hotel, where our room was upgraded and we were overall spoiled. They did not cut any corners and in the end everything was perfect. Perfect thanks to their truly hard work and attention to detail. We will always be thankful to this incredible team for giving us a wedding more incredible than what we could have dreamed of.

We stayed at the Elivi Hotel in Skiathos for a week and had an incredible experience. The location is absolutely stunning, with four beautiful beaches—each one accessible directly from the hotel. We stayed in the Grace area, and our room had a spectacular view, overlooking the beach right in front of us. Waking up to that view every morning was truly magical. The room itself was spacious and modern, equipped with everything we needed, including a lovely shower and a Nespresso machine for our morning coffee. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless each day, which added to the overall luxury of the stay. Breakfast had a vast selection to suit all tastes. Another great feature was the availability of sun loungers at every beach. They were incredibly comfortable, and we never had to worry about finding one, no matter which beach we chose for the day. The golf buggy service was convenient, taking us around the hotel whenever we needed to get from one spot to another. We also appreciated the attention to detail from the staff—when towels ran out at the beach, they quickly brought more down from reception. Overall, Elivi Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and made for a perfect getaway.
