What a great experience. All very well-done with the Elephants comfort and welfare at the forefront. We did the 3 night (1 night at the Lake camp). We did lots of activities, Elephant food preparations and feeding the elephants, Kayaking, hiking, school children dancing and information films. The organisational skills were exceptional as were the guides and their knowledge. The accomodation was better than we thought it would be, very comfortable and at one with nature. Definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.... And I can't forget to mention the food, plentiful, delicious and varied. Catering for veggies, vegans and Gluten free etc The Lake Camp is also exceptional and definitely worth staying there if you have the time/option.

Stayed here one day and one night of our 3 day package with Elephant Hills. During the day we did a 30min canoe ride. Since you have a person paddling for you, you can fully focus on animal spotting. Next you have the elephant experience. We found this a bit underwhelming. You only get to feed them for about 15 minutes, and you won’t be getting really close with them. We had another day at an elephant farm in Chiang Mai where we got to roam and bathe with the elephants. This elephant experience is nothing compared to the one in Chiang Mai. This about the only “bad” thing I can say about the rest of our stay here. Rooms (tents, but they are more like rooms with all the luxury included 😅) are great! Slept very good and the bathroom in your tent is amazing! The food is nice and freshly prepared. They also have a nice selection of beers, wine and cocktails! You pay a tourist premium for them, but you also get a quality cocktail in return. Nice for the evening after all the activities. The packages at Elephant Hills are expensive, but you get the value when you go to the lake camp. Read my google review of that place and you will know why. It is simply amazing!

We had such a fantastic time during our 2 night + 3 day trip to Elephant Hills with so many memories made. Knowing that the elephants are well looked after and seeing them up close is magical. Our guide, Yaya was amazing and so knowledgeable. Everything from staying in a luxury tent to the fun activities was such a cool experience and the food was great. Thank you Elephant Hills 🐘

This was without a doubt the most unforgettable experience of my life — and not in a way I’d wish on anyone. For the modest price of 1,000.– for a single night, we were dropped off at 11:30 a.m., only to sit around until 2:10 p.m. Pure luxury. Then the adventure finally began: The canoes came with life jackets that had clearly lived several lives — and possibly claimed a few. The smell? A charming blend of “damp,” “aged,” and “I hope to never smell this again.” Barely one minute in the “jungle” (as they call it), and a spider of XXL proportions was already on my leg. It most likely lived in the life jacket. I assume it doesn’t pay rent. The canoeing itself was… fine. Compared to the rest of the trip, almost a highlight. On to the elephants: 5 elephants. 15 people. I’m not great at math, but even I can see the issue there. Naturally, we had about three seconds per person before being herded to the next waiting period — this time for food. Once we reached our room, we were greeted by a bloody (but thankfully washed!) bedsheet. A breathtaking sight. The drinks were so expensive I briefly wondered if they were infused with gold leaf. They weren’t. The next morning at 7 a.m. came the culinary pièce de résistance: food poisoning, complete with diarrhea and vomiting. And all this in a bathroom whose toilet needed a five-minute meditation session between flushes to refill its giant water tank. Delightful. Interest in our condition? Minimal. But at least — truly world-class customer service — the staff informed us they would not charge us for the drinking water we ordered. I was moved. Mostly because I was already completely dehydrated. If I could, I’d give negative stars. Never again.

I travelled to Thailand last year in May and started my journey with the Elephant Hills, 2 nights three days package. The package was so inclusive and provided a more culture rich experience. By far the best part of my stay in Thailand. To this day we still talk about how good this package was and how we can’t wait to go back. My only regret is that due to time restrictions we didn’t do the package that include the overnight stay at the lake cabins - 3 nights and 4 days. The experiences with the elephants, kayaking down the river and swimming/Kayaking at the Lake cabins are all memories that I will never forget. I would 100% recommend anyone and everyone to add an Elephant Hills Package to the Thailand trip!!
