The hotel is definitely a 4* hotel. Food - breakfast is an English breakfast fast every morning with a selection of ham and bread etc. Can’t fault it. Lunch is a little bit basic with your standard pizza, chips, a type of meat and vegetables. Tea is different every night as they do cuisine based nights. It’s both good and bad. It gives you an opportunity to try different foods but it can be not great when you don’t like the cuisine as there isn’t alternative options. Overall, the food is good but there isn’t a huge variety but I suppose it’s quality over quantity. Rooms - very spacious with nice bathrooms. A little bit outdated and not cleaned to a very high standard but I guess it depends who cleaned it - still very clean but there is a lot of room for improvement. Service - the staff majorly is super nice and lovely and a lot of languages spoken. The only issue is the lobby bar staff during the evening because they’re super stressed (understandably) but could be prevented if more staff was present rather than 2 in a bar. Bar - not clear which drinks are all inclusive and depending on who serves you will tell you it’s included and some will tell you it’s not? Bit confusing but overall the drinks are very nice Beach - absolutely gorgeous and just outside the hotel Pools - one is heated and of course the jacuzzi is too and the main pool is not but the pools are very clean and big Sun loungers - plenty to choose from Location - good cnerral to supermarkets and town and 20 minutes from airport Entertainment - didn’t really stay for any entertainment as it was great, however, no hotel entertainment is ever brilliant so this wasn’t an issue Things for improvement - there are no drinks provided in the fridge or room (even all inclusive) A little bit better cleaning in room More staff in bars

Elba Carlota has been a good stay. The entertainment team has to be one of the best I have experienced. They are encouraging yet not pushy, friendly but not forced. I am sure they would have been a great hit with kids too. Jessica and Colleen are a great energy to be around and seem to genuinely enjoy their job. The hotel is very clean, with good amenities. Pool was great, it didn't feel overcrowded. We were able to stay in a quieter area if we wanted but also had more lively pool with the team organising activities. We had a prestige room that didn't feel very prestigious, despite the additional cost. The balcony was in shade most of the day, room size was ample but not large. With little space for relaxation, especially with the balcony lacking the sunlight. Food was what made this good, not great. Very limited options for vegetarians/vegans. Protein sources were predominantly fish (not unexpected). As a fussy Brit, I found the menu to lack inspiration. If I were a fish eater this might have been different. We were half board but may have been better off finding our own food.

It is my first visit here and I am so impressed with everything. The rooms are lovely and the food is amazing so much variety. But the best part are all the staff especially Paula on the pool bar she is an amazing person and so funny. Took a bit of a shine to Dan , he is a very talented young man. The shows that the staff have performed are amazing 😍 don't know were they get the energy from. Myself and my Mum and Dad have had brilliant holiday, thankyou all so much we will definitely be back X

We had an incredible week at Elba Carlota Beach & Golf Resort! One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the animation team. They were so professional, enthusiastic, and truly made our vacation unforgettable. The activities and shows were well-organized, fun, and always full of positive energy. A big thank you to the whole animation team for their hard work and creativity. You guys are amazing! Highly recommended!

Great service and effort from the animation team and from the staff, everyone very friendly and helpful. Lovely resort and rooms. Great seaside as well but you have to pay 4€ for each bed and umbrella not included in the all inclusive. Food could be a bit better, with more protein options for vegans and better quality for meats. And no water bottles in the rooms. A few upgrades would make it perfect, but the staff makes up for it.
