I stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. El Olivar Palace Marrakech is an amazing hotel, having big rooms, good toilet with amenities like shampoo but no toothpaste and slippers. Very friendly staff and comfortable sleep. Breakfast buffet is exceptional but no juice. We were welcomed with Moroccon tea upon check in. Speed WiFi. Because we are a big group, sorting our rooms takes a long time. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and was deeply unsettled by what I experienced and observed. The place presents itself as a family-friendly aquapark, but some of what happens behind the scenes tells a very different story. During my stay, I witnessed and personally experienced inappropriate sexual orientated behavior from several members of the entertainment team. There was an atmosphere of partying, alcohol, and substance use among the entertainment team that made the environment feel unsafe—especially for women traveling alone. Sexual advances and activity happening in an environment that should be family friendly and felt inappropriate. One of the entertainers, Billy, came onto me very strongly immediately upon arrival and I’ve heard from other guests too, in a way that felt manipulative and unprofessional. Many of us shared similar stories with one another during our stay. What we encountered was not the respectful hospitality one expects from a family resort. It’s almost like the women coming are prey for these predators hungry for sexual experience with foreigners. This experience left me concerned not only for female guests, but also for the reputation of the hotel. I’m writing this review because I believe management should investigate the behavior of the entertainment staff and take strong steps to ensure that all visitors—especially women and families—can feel safe, respected, and comfortable here. Harassment is never ok, and Billy and his team should be more aware of their advances towards women guests. More professional may I add, otherwise they should not work in such a place. I hope that by sharing my experience, other travelers will stay aware, and that this establishment will take meaningful action to restore a healthy, trustworthy environment. The encouragement of recreational substances should also not be encouraged by Entertainment staff that may influence guests decisions and choices.

Fantastic hotel. A little further away from Marrakech than you would like but the pool, the food, the rooms was all very good. What stood out for me was the staff was brilliant. They literally will go out of their way for you at every turn. Want to go on the slides they will turn them on. You want a drink at closing time no problem they will reopen. Need a taxi or something sorted no problem Zouhair will help you. The bar staff around the Pool and particularly Yousef was also brilliant. Entertainment staff, maids just all of the staff was brilliant. Big thank you for making our stay in Morocco even better. Keep up the good work

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel was absolutely unacceptable. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was shockingly bad. The staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. What made things even worse was the clear discrimination I experienced — I was treated very differently compared to other guests, and it was both humiliating and infuriating. No guest should ever feel unwelcome or judged because of who they are. The spa was another huge disappointment. The facilities were dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing like the pictures online. The staff there were unprofessional and didn’t seem to care at all about the guests’ comfort or safety. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. Overall, this hotel doesn’t deserve even one star. If you value respect, cleanliness, and decent service, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

A very good property with beautiful and well layout open area. The swimming pool was superb. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the hospitality and assistance of the staff especially the front desk staff. The restaurant was very nice with variety of Moroccan and continental cuisine. The nights were full of life and amazing. However, the hotel needs to improve on in-rooms services. For example there isn’t tea items my room and personally requested but not provided. No toothpaste and brushes as well as part of the toiletries.
