Hi, you have such a unique hotel, with absolutely beautiful grounds, spacious well appointed rooms, and best of all, great staff. I think the swim out area in front of each room is really cool, but we had hit a bit of a cold spell, so only went in once after the foam party. Driftwood restaurant is a perfect setting overlooking the water, and the food was amazing. Getting to walk over the the Palms area and just to the main lobby is stunning, with beautiful walkways everywhere, and I've honestly never seen so many palm trees on a resort, it truly is a gorgeous place. There were lots of sunbeds and Bali beds all over, and picking up towels without a card is nice. Every night there was something different going on for entertainment, but not the huge theatre that most resorts have, which I really liked. The amount of work that goes into the Fireshow and Mexican night in the main outdoor venue is just amazing. We always had breakfast sitting outside by the pier and it was just perfect, overlooking the ocean, with palm trees swaying. If you didn't want to walk they had shuttles going all over the resort, and the staff were always so friendly. The Italian restaurant on the Suites side was the best food I had at the resort, and highly recommend ( but you need to book this one). The beach at the Suites is rocky, and there is a small area to enter, but we knew this when booking, and you just walk a few minutes to the Palms side if you want more of the beachy vibe. We spent most nights after the entertainment at the Guacamayas bar ,where they would have singers, Karaoke an a DJ playing later. I would highly recommend this resort.

Beautiful hotel with superb staff who are keen to make your stay the very best experience. The hotel is very spread out but you are taken by golf buggy shuttles to wherever you want to go by the lovely drivers. Our suite was beautiful and cleaned to an exceptional standard with clean bedding and towels every day. The food at the many restaurants was delicious and the street food at the events in the Plaza was also superb. It is one of the few places that I have not been ready to leave by the end of the holiday. We cannot thank the lovely staff enough for making our holiday so special.

Coven Miller

The resort was beautiful and very well maintained and on a nice stretch of the ocean. Woke up every morning in a clean room with a great view. The staff all across the resort was very friendly and happy to help, except for a few which I will detail. Special shout out to Fernando who helped us get checked in and drove us around the resort our first night giving us a tour. One guy who worked for the spa, was very pushy, coming up to us while eating or in the pool, and eventually stopping us while walking sometime. We thought it was too expensive, told him so, said no thank you and started walking away. He then tried to pity us by saying he works on commission and "you tip the bartender $1 every time but won't help me" Very unpleasant with him. Another con was the seating for meals. Wrong came as a party of 7 but they wouldn't accommodate us for meals, making us split into groups of 3 & 4 or 5 & 2. This was quite the bummer and mildly frustrating when there were tables of 6 readily available and we would have happily just pulled up a chair. The excursions we're all day commitments, so we chose not to do those. The catamaran for example, was a 8am to 5pm activity. The food and drinks were okay. Not bad, but far from the best stuff we've had at numerous other resorts in Mexico. Overall, it was a fun trip, resort grounds again were very pretty and perfectly maintained, the pool was fun and the drinks were flowing. I enjoyed the trip, but I would not come back to this resort again.

We got there with a group of 8 people and they tried to put some people in the wrong room category other than what was booked. I am a travel agent and booked this entire group so I made sure that was quickly fixed. We also tried to make dinner reservations and we were told that there was only one night that we could make reservations at any restaurant during our entire stay. We found that our concierge and most of the bartenders and server were extremely grumpy. Being a travel agent, I travel often and we were highly disappointed in how grumpy so many service workers were. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained and the golf cart drivers were all friendly. Our room was also cleaned well everyday but would have liked turned down service but not sure that if offered at this resort. But none of us thought any of the food was very good and were very disappointed in the attitudes of bartenders and their ability to make drinks we requested. It was a very pretty resort and we enjoyed walking around exploring but just mainly disappointed with the service and food.

This was my third visit to this resort. I love the rooms and the view. The food is excellent. Room service food isn't bad, but if they could have a bit more quality like the restaurants, it would be amazing. The thing I didn't like on this trip almost ruined the trip for me and makes me question whether or not I will return. I was put in a room with a view of the pool sun deck and some palm trees which blocked the view of the ocean. The main reason for my stay was to enjoy the room with a view. They did eventually move me to an amazing room, but it was not without a lot of complaining and begging and was only for the very last day of my stay. Also, I had two reservations, and one of them they would not approve because it was in my husband's name and he was unable to come. They actually cancelled that reservation and did not refund the money, and since I was pretty much stuck there, they charged me an outlandish fee to stay longer and still kept me in the same room with no view. They were very uninterested helping me, unless I coughed up the resort's outlandish fee. They considered approving the reservation in my husband's name, but chose not to, leaving me to pay much more to make a new reservation. The only saving grace was the concierge who felt sorry for me and was able to find a new room with a view, when the reservation desk could not. I have a reservation in April and am considering cancelling it. I felt very taken advantage of and am not sure I am comfortable trusting them again. I have loved the staff, but this made me feel like just away to make another dollar to them. As a last note, thank you to the concierge who made me feel like a human being again.
