While your resort was beautiful, well-kept, and had a variety of amenities, it was not easy to find out when said amenities were open from the comfort of our room and without the need to talk to someone. It would be nice to know when the tennis courts, your swimming pools, the ocean, or even just the various gift shops were open via your app. I don't like talking to people in general and it gets even more intimidating if I'm afraid there may be a language or accent barrier because I'm hard of hearing and people hate repeating themselves. It was uncomfortable to have most of the dinner options that I found to be palatable to be reservation via person only and you had to reserve it so far out! It was a 5 day stay and both restaurants were already booked out over 2 days in advance! Which meant my wife and I spent a lot of time eating room service which was its own uncomfortable battle. I used the app since calling is again, challenging with my hearing issues, and it was frustrating to say the least. You'd get all the way through making your order only to have to pick a time slot at the end and the time slots could be filled up until almost 2 hours out even late at night! And there was never any variety in the room service menu so since we had such a hard time finding foods we could eat at the normal restaurants we ended up eating basically the same 1-2 things for most of our meals. I'd suggest adding some more regular people food instead of all the fancy stuff. Yes fancy is nice when you're feeling adventurous, but having at least one restaurant with less fancy options that are a bit more normal would be nice. The buffet almost made the cut but a lot of the options were poorly cooked for the way you were storing them (dessicated bitter plain green beans comes to mind). All in all, especially if the people are socially anxious like my wife and I and aren't drinkers, this isn't the resort for you. If you're like the gregarious, adventurous, beautiful bride whose wedding we attended here who can partake in libations and party without a care, this is much more your speed.

I am leaving a 4 star review but would leave about a 3.6 or 3.7 stars if I could Overall the resort grounds are immaculate and extremely well maintained. The service staff, wait staff and bar staff are excellent. We had booked the honeymoon suite about 2 months in advance but got a notice a week before leaving that it was not available. When we arrived we were apparently “upgraded”. We found out that we lost the suite to a “member” of the resort because we met them. So it appears they prioritize members over hotel guests. This is not mentioned anywhere. The suite we stayed in was tired looking and in a much needed updating. The paint touch ups and overall maintenance of the inside of the unit was well below what we would have expected for a 5 star rating. The room was a 3 star at best. Comfortable- yes. 5 star - no. The food quality was good but not what we expecting based upon the reviews we read prior to booking. The two restaurants that required reservations (Asian and Italian) were very basic and in no way deserve the high ratings. The Asian offerings were very basic as well as the Italian options were very average. Not what we were expecting. I believe that the rave reviews we saw on websites were based on how much food you could eat versus the actual quality, presentation and uniqueness of the dishes. We found the best presentation and food quality was the vegetarian restaurant on the beach. And we aren’t even vegetarian. We used the spa services - excellent facilities and staff but pricey. You will be approached on the beach by staff to book massages and treatments. Note that you can negotiate a better price than posted rate. So overall. A nice resort, with wonderful staff, great gardens and facilities, bars and pools. However the food is fine - but not outstanding. Rooms are fine but definitely need updating. Would we go back? Not to this particular resort.

First time at this resort. Was there in November, only rained once Real good one night. Staff are perfect, restaurants were OK, I wish more were open at all times. Stayed in a swim out suite, was nice, and had a bar at one end. The beach is very nice with lots of fish to see and soft sand in most parts. Beach services was always around to take orders. Can walk for a while along the beach before ya get to the end, and it becomes too rough. Water is clear and calm, hardly any seaweed on the beach. Resort has golf carts always driving around if ya don't want to walk to a certain area.

We had the best time with Luan, Sergio, Fernando, and Benjamin! They took care of us and were so friendly and took care of us every time we came down to the pool bar! Very attentive and went above and beyond for us during our stay! We will be recommending them to our friends and family and will be looking for them when we return in the future! We couldn’t wait to come back to the pool bar for their hospitality!

We enjoyed our entire time and plan to return in the future. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to our smallest request. Jorge was excellent as our concierge and ensured we had an excellent stay! Roberto was an excellent waiter at the Driftwood Restaurant and very accommodating to our food requests. It was a very welcoming and inviting environment. The only downside was what we felt was a high pressure sale of the memberships that were offered. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.
