From check in to check out the experience was wonderful. Adonis at check in was great, Sylvia as our concierge was fantastic, the bell hops, restaurants, our favorite bartender Clemente, I could go on forever. I will come back and I will recommend to everyone. Easy to get around to the other resorts, everything is walking distance great area to sit and listen to the water (can’t get in due to seaweed and coral). Great night life if you’re interested. All the food was delicious and I highly recommend room service!

We had a really good time here. We did absolutely nothing but just hung around the resort (drove concierges crazy). We needed to really unwind. There were enough places to hang out at that it worked. Our pool outside our room was always a great temperature - some of the pools were so hot, it was uncomfortably- we liked our pool. The beaches were not at all possible for swimming or anything either the seaweed (so stinky) and the big concrete blocks in the ocean - which was sad because we really like swimming in the ocean. The food was fantastic!! We were very impressed The martini bar was very impressive also - full range of high quality beverages. The servers and staff were TOP NOTCH!!! The place is very clean and staff are always working to keep it this way. Remember that all gifts come with a cost … keep this in mind if you don’t want to become a “member” (time share in disguise). All in all a perfect get away for us. We were treated very well

I received unexpected time off work I live in Tennessee, which is landlocked and the closest lake to me is disgusting so I was looking through third-party websites such as Expedia and orbitz for the cheapest all-inclusive going anywhere and this was it. I got the absolute best bang for my buck. I booked less than 24 hours ahead and they were still able to accommodate me and pick me up from the airport Just one of their many amenities that’s included. The check-in was impeccable. They were extremely accommodating and helpful in the lobby you’ll find a personal concierge that will help you book your free excursions there are some not included but they don’t try to trick u then they take you on a golf cart to your room. The rooms are exactly as pictured and super clean not even the fan has dust on it. I will say the beach is more rocky so it’s not as accessible, but it’s beautiful to look at and they also have a free excursion where they take you to a swimmable beach after my arrival I booked my dinner reservations. I arrived late bc of shuttles but they were still able to accommodate me I will say the only thing that I can even complain about is the golf carts come to a pick up point every 20 minutes but if you were to see someone you could flag them down ask for a ride I booked an Ocean view and that’s exactly what I got. They don’t move around your reservations or do you dirty at all where I am staying El Dorado Royale is their section of hotel style rooms. If you walk along the coast, they have El Dorado Casitas, which are more like private huts that have their own private pools. Any place that you go to eat here is going to be amazing. The quality of food in Mexico is just so much better. I went to a bar on the beach and Misael took amazing care of me I went to Guacamaya to see live band and a show there Pepe took great care of me. Last night I apparently left my room door open but I didn’t recall leaving it Open security was there right away They didn’t make me feel like a nuisance or like I’m annoying They listened to my concerns and cared for my safety It really was me who left the door open which leads me to now I woke up and went to bfast there You grab your own food take it to a table and a server will grab your drinks I mentioned that I had a hangover and right away they made me a suero which is soda water, lime, and salt it’s very popular in Mexico to alleviate hangovers They go out of their way here so that you can have a good experience and you can feel comfortable. I have tried asking everybody their names so that I could mention them but honestly anybody that works on this resort is obviously very well trained in hospitalityThey make your vacation extremely relaxing because you know that no matter what they’ll take care of you. (ex.) I got tired at the water park and the scheduled pick up time to go back was 5 I asked them if somebody (pedro!) could take me now which was at 2 and they did! Also, I wanted strawberries in my crêpe and they didn’t have any out. They went to go find some and cut them up for me. I had to consolidate this review because my character count got too long. I have no idea how I’m gonna update it once I finish my stay cause I know for a fact, I’ll have More great things to share. *updated : leaving today and enjoyed every bit of my experience there’s something for everyone if you like to chill/ or if your adventurous Gerardo is in charge of entertainment and he sure does a good job also a shout out to Luis for the help on the bikes to Eduardo for the best drinks and estaban for the rides you can’t go wrong staying here!

positives: the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The gold cart shuttle service works fairly well. Negatives: rooms are in dire need of renovation with multiple items in our room and my in-lays rooms that were either broken or marginally functional (lamps, A/C, door locks, safe). Good and drinks are OK but not great and not commensurate with the price point or star rating.

My husband and I just returned from our biannual trip. We love going to this resort. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If we ever have problems they are quick to fix the situation. We are exotic members and until recently have been very happy. The management company and Lomas split and since(about 2 years) communications and issues are frequent. This in no way has effected the line staff and how they treat us. If it weren't for our butlers, concierge waitstaff and bartenders we may not continue to go. Food is always amazing. Rooms are nice and clean but could use some updating(they have recently renovated some but not where we stay as members) I would recommend staying here, but do not become a member until upper management and management gets it together and starts listening to the people that matter.
