Best resort I’ve ever been to. Definitely recommend the stay. The staff is wonderful. The food is amazing. The activities are fantastic. And the views are breathtaking. I became a big kid reliving my childhood at AquaNick 🤎🤭. Only downside (but it’s expected) room service food isn’t always warm.

Visited 02/08/26 - 02/14/26. Poor service. We had first visited the resort in 2014 and this experience was nothing like our first. Our room was not made up on one day. Requests for specific items in our mini fridge (Coke and Water) were ignored by multiple staff members as well as the concierge. No special turn-down service in the evening time. Seems more time and effort was spent trying to sell us massages or spa treatments than actually taking care of us. A lot of seeming indifference from much of the staff. Simple requests for things like salt and pepper with our meals were ignored. Lack of mid day food options around the pool areas. Pools were dirty. WiFi was inconsistent at best. Worked fine at times, was unable to connect at times (from our room as well as other areas around the property). The grounds are still beautiful and very large...much of the staff travels by golf cart and it is impossible to walk anywhere without having to move out of the way as a cart passes by. Just overall not the experience we have come to expect with the inclusive resorts we visit. We will not be coming back.

We travelled to this resort last year for 10 days and loved it. The food was great and fresh, service was good, and we loved the very lush grounds for walking. We found everyone extremely helpful except for the front desk. The Maroma excursion was excellent, and what an amazing buffet. Our only disappointment was the room, while the location was good the room was not what we expected based on the website - it was quite dark and tired, but always clean. We are heading back there in April, so fingers crossed it’s as good as we remember and our rooms look like the site pictures. Will let you know!

We were with a group of 18 people for 2 b-day celebrations. I will say that the waitstaff were so great and they were all very friendly. The place was beautiful. There were beaches, but I’m not sure if getting into the ocean there was a good idea, so we stayed in the pools and really enjoyed that part. Now for the bad parts...We ran out of bottled water by day 2. When they cleaned and stocked our room, they did not replenish the water or the coffee. I had to ask for bottled water in the room multiple times and for several days before we finally got some on the last night, I mean you can't drink the tap water in Mexico, so hello. There was NO hot water in the shower. (That was miserable) We felt like we spent most of our vacation waiting in line in the lobby for everything. Getting a dinner reservation was ridiculous, with no reasonable time spots. We scheduled bell hop to come get us the morning we left, with enough time to get breakfast before the shuttle was supposed to pick us up. (We were at the farthest end of the property) They NEVER showed up. We had to drag our bags down the stairs and over halfway across the property before an employee with a golf cart stopped to take us to the lobby. Of course we missed breakfast. The "free" shuttle company to and from the airport was just deplorable. I had to book this at least 3 or 4 times and they still told me we didn't book it. I even got confirmation from them, without my flight info, so I responded to correct this and STILL was not booked. What exactly was being confirmed?!?!? The guy at the Lomas desk (the ones that book the excursions and the shuttle) was so incredibly rude. Somehow, I convinced them to let myself and my husband on the shuttle back to the airport, but they flat out refused to add the other 3 people from our group that were all confirmed to be on that shuttle too. We ALL had the same flights back; this made no sense to us. There was plenty of room on that shuttle, for people and bags. They ended up having to pay for a cab. When I stay at a resort, I want to check in all at once and enjoy my time, not stress. We opted not to do the 1 free excursion that was available...it was a 2-hour ride, 1.5-hour hike, for only a 40 min cenotes snorkel/swim and then 1.5-hour hike back to the 2-hour ride back. No food or drinks included, at all. No thanks. This place has a lot of potential, but it is not for me.

Fernando and Claudio were excellent Butlers. The best we have had. Thank you honoring my request of having the room in front of our wedding site in 2009. It made our trip very special. We have already booked for next year. Ana kept our room spotless. And I did not catch our minibar attendants name but he was fabulous as well. Ramon was the best beach butler we have ever had. All our servers were fantastic but a special shout out to Daniel at Rincon breakfast and kick lunch. Our expectations continue to be exceeded every visit!
