Avoid Eftalia Marin Resort if you’re expecting a relaxing family holiday or anything close to the 5-star experience it claims to offer. In reality, it’s closer to a 3-star at best. Our driver wasn’t allowed past the gates, so with four young kids, we had to carry all our luggage in ourselves. No one explained how the resort worked — we were left to figure it out. Staff were mostly unfriendly, and in one shocking instance, a buffet restaurant staff member tried to take my daughter’s plate while she was still eating. I complained, but was laughed at — and never received an apology. Rooms were not cleaned properly — our bathroom wasn’t touched, towels were stained, and noise from neighbouring rooms kept us awake. The “all-inclusive” offer is misleading: even orange juice and basic ice cream cost extra. A couple of positives: the Gözleme lady was lovely, and the splash park was great for kids. But that’s about it.

I had a good experience at this hotel. 99% of the people at the hotel were lovely. Dinner time was exceptional because of a guy called Ahmet. Great young man with top class customer service. The food was okay. They could do with a more variety of fresher food. It could have been a 3 star but thanks to the customer service. I will give 4 star. Very nice people

Clearly all inclusive wasn’t all inclusive, no coctails included. Food was 4/10, in Turkey you’d imagine to get some kebab but not here. Hard to relax and sleep in the room when every sound can be heard through the walls. Market and restaurants near the hotel were very expensive, tourists trap, if you want to get real food and shopping experience go to Alanya, much better and cheaper prices. Pool and beach area was nice, do not do any water activities near the hotel, book your fun activites from the internet and you get 50% cheaper. Rent the car, and have fun in Alanya!

We came across many negative reviews about this place and were hesitant to book at first—but we decided to give it a try, and we’re glad we did. We arrived safely via Jet2, and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout our stay. The resort is lively and full of energy, making it a fun and vibrant atmosphere. While the all-inclusive package doesn't cover cocktails or premium spirits, the culinary team more than makes up for it. Meals were consistently well-presented with a decent variety on the menu. That said, if you're staying for a week or more, you might start to notice some repetition. The standout feature is definitely the access to Efalia Island—an absolute highlight. The beach there is blissful, with fantastic facilities and a serene vibe. It's also conveniently close to Alanya. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely return.

Rooms clean but very basic, location is very remote - hotel caters mainly for children and not suitable for people with mobility issues as activities based on The Island which is a good walk from hotel. Dining room is massive, very chaotic with lots of children running around, food was always cold, even when freshly put out, frequently struggled to find set table. Queuing system for complimentary a la carte meal farcical-have to queue between 9 and 10am to book for next day, only for someone to come out after queuing for 30 minutes to be told fully booked, and to come back next day, you can only book for next day, so gave this a miss. Steak House costs 30 euros for basic fixed meal, so pot luck as to what you get. Ate and drank at Big Ben's pub up the road, despite being all inclusive, this is only bar withing walking distance from hotel. Alcohol in area very expensive 10 euros for vodka coke, 27 to 30 euros for bottle vodka - avg cost for basic meal 22 to 30 euros.
