Our stay at Dusit d2 Maldives was unforgettable. The resort is elegant, welcoming, and perfectly designed for relaxation. The food selection was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety and quality consistently impressed us. The highlight was dining at Baraveli Restaurant—delicious food, beautiful views, and a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. A heartfelt thanks to Ishaq and Faanu, whose attentive service and genuine warmth added a special touch to our dining experience Overall, dusitD2 delivered on everything I hoped for – comfort, great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Maldives, whether for a romantic escape, a family holiday, or even a quick luxury break thanks to its close proximity to the airport. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The island itself is beautiful and the overwater villas are generous and very stylishly furnished - especially the bathroom and terrace are very special (we were watching little fish and sharks every night from the net thingy). But what truly knocked our socks off was the quality of service. All the staff went out of their way to make our vacation memorable and we felt truly pampered. We were warmly greeted at the airport and upon our departure seen off at the airport entrance. We were even given a complimentary early check-in + breakfast after we’d arrived and late check-out, so basically one more day at our amazing villa! Ahmed and other staff members were constantly checking that we had everything we needed and were always so friendly and welcoming. As we are a vegetarian & vegan couple, the chefs at all the restaurants made sure to check in with us prior to every meal and prepared some of the best meals we’d ever had! It was unbelievable, plus the places looked stunning. The spa experience and massage with Ros was a cherry on top. Also used the gym and the tennis court regularly - the staff there made sure we had fresh towels and water at all times. We also had to visit the clinic and were assisted by the doctor - all part of the resort service. Just cannot recommend this place enough!

This is one of the best resorts I have visited so far. The local rates are quite reasonable considering the high level of service provided. The staff are very friendly, the variety of food from multiple outlets is excellent, and the pool villas with a dedicated kids’ room are perfect for families. Overall, it is a very family-friendly resort. A special mention goes to the team at Baraveli Restaurant—especially Deepa—for their friendliness and helpful service. That said, I did encounter one disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I faced a minor issue with my bank application while transferring funds via Favara. I requested one hour to complete the payment, but the front office manager declined and informed us that we could not check in until the payment was settled. While I understand resort policies, most resorts usually allow payment clearance at check-out, so this came as a surprise. As I was traveling with two children, the situation was quite inconvenient. Overall, aside from this incident, it was an excellent stay, and I would still recommend the resort for its service, facilities, and family-friendly environment.

Quite close to Male, 7-10 minutes by boat, so if you're tired after a long flight, it's a good location. Awesome food, very attentive and careful personnel, good local reef for snorkeling. Quiet and very green island, offering a lot pf privacy and relaxation.

We will forever cherish our stay at Dusit D2 Maldives. Not only because of the fantastic facilities, and the mind-blowing views, which we will miss dearly, but mainly because of its fantastic staff. We would love to thank them all for their kindness and warmth. (Please accept our apologies for not having all the names here!) Special thanks to the staff from Midi, Baraveli (Ishaaq, Sakshar, Latheef, Raaif, and all the chefs and waiting staff), Cocoon (Kripa and Sekar), and all the lovely ladies from Soi (that pomelo salad will not be forgotten!). Bō was definitely a highlight, and the attention to detail and beauty of the menu is something worth trying, together with the fantastic pairing recommendations from Saeed. Our heartfelt gratitude to the room service staff (Rizu and Solah) for their attention to detail, and for going the extra mile with their artistic creations. The same goes for Sharvan, Ibrahim, and the rest of buggy drivers. Finally, we would really recommend attending the yoga classes with Ansuman, someone who really conveys the beauty of the yogic tradition, while respecting the possibilities of each participant. The mantras, the pranayama and gong therapy portions of the session were truly powerful and I will always cherish these classes. Thanks, Ansuman, for sharing your wisdom so generously. We truly hope to be back, and have the opportunity to learn more about the Maldives while enjoying in a property that promises to be a must for everyone seeking an unforgettable experience.
