We recently came back from our stayed at Dreams resort and spa, it was amazing and we are already planning on going back . We meet some great servers like Mauricio who treated us like family and took care of us at every dinner. Luis at the coco cafe who did amazing coffees and lots of others. I was impressed by how the staff was able to help in any way they can. I recommend booking through preferred and take advantage of the amazing private beach and cabanas.
The resort was amazing, they have activities throughout the day for the guest to enjoy.
The resort is located about 50 min from the Tulum airport.

What’s important to know right out of the gate - I have been in the hospitality business for many years and know what’s accurate and what’s not. After staying for a week it’s more in the line of average of 4.0-4.6 stars ⭐️ to be clear. A true 5 star resort has impeccable service/buildings and everyone on point including managers. As we know everything rolls from the top down. But I must say that actually it was rolling the opposite direction. What I witnessed was the grounds maintenance crew were the ones working and doing a superb job. Then restaurant & room very friendly helpful staff and then lobby staff and never even saw a manager. Make sure to rent the Cabana for shade and private lunch or private massages - amazing with the great beach view!!
When a resort says 3pm check-in it’s never ever should be 1-2 hours later - or being told “it’s being processed.” So expect to wait but do enjoy several great cold beverages while you wait through the “process” at the Seaside Grill & Beach Bar! If you find a staff with a walkie talkie a much better option to meet your needs on a timely manner. My personal input on food was above average and tasty with great presentation along with good service.
Now the room was another level- hotel is 20 years old and a/c units etc are expected to be crippled at some point. Our room a/c was not working and stayed on 79 degrees but made it with a fan the best we could. By the way I am a member so my expectations are above normal. I highly recommend staffing more professional women in lead roles to stay on point as an option.
Plan to enjoy the beautiful beach-pool and grounds area and go with a positive mindset and your stay will be a great one!!!

We were here for the presentation. BE CAREFUL as this is a really hard sell for their Dreams Vacation club. Check it really works for you as the promotions mask what it truly is. You can cancel for a full refund within five days once you've signed (even if they say you can't). Beautiful resort however.

It was a good resort. It wasn't the best experience since compared to others. I feel like the workers in this resort are insensitive and most of them are not loving their job or not getting the right training. There will be some workers that are amazing but just a few of them. Food wise it was ok compared with no eating outside and having a risk of getting sick. Shows.are really good. But my biggest problem in this resort was the check in. My husband and I went on a Friday afternoon to get a room and start our vacation as soon as possible. We waited in the lobby for about 3 hours or longer. People after us were coming and getting their room with no problem and reception just kept saying to us that in 10 or 20 minutes our room will be ready. After a long day flying and then driving to the resort we just wanted to put our stuff away and have fun (because that's the logic when you pay a really good price for it). The two first days of our vacation were horrible just because of reception trying to repair their mistakes. At the end we tried to enjoy and we came back happy but losing some of the good time that we could have done and be more relaxed.

Lovely hotel, lots of activities and entertainment. You are isolated there but should know that before you get there, taxis are too expensive. Pretty sure everyone in the family took turns to have a funny tummy while staying here. But the food tasted good! Great variety of drinks and staff helpful.
