My family and I went on Vacation to Dreams Tulum in Mexico this week and honestly the service there is spectacular!! From bellboy, to the lobby staff, we were greeted with such a warm welcome. All of our needs catered in a timely manner with such grace and hospitality! The absolute best recognition goes to the gentleman at the bar, Lorenzo, Carlos, Victor and Benito!! We have never seen such pleasant interaction between bartenders/servers and guests; they always have a smile on their faces, they remember each and everyone’s names, they genuinely converse and interact with everyone AND they remember everyone’s orders! You’ve got to try Lorenzo’s “the devil in me” drink; it’s the perfect blend of alcohol, slushy and passion fruit! The rooms can do with some serious upgrading, there was a lot of rust and patched up work that was clearly visible. I understand the hotel is very old and there is some wear and tear but the upkeep should be mandatory. The specialty restaurants also had some good food, our favourite was the seaside grill for both lunch and dinner and the Mexican restaurant “el patio”. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would recommend the place for service and food.

This is a all inclusive resort with plenty of different types of food, drinks and entertainment daily and a few shows. You have to get a ride into any town. You can book any excursion thru them or they can call you a taxi. The staff are all helpful, constant cleaning and preparing foods. The beach is right outside to enjoy all day, We did not have one bad day here. Our room was perfect. We would definitely stay here again 💕

The staff make this place; they speak, they smile, they help The place is a little tired, but without mentioning it one of our lights was fixed, so housekeeping are on it. A bit hit and miss whether you get hand towels/face Flannels each day but leave a note and the next visit is sorted. The whole hotel and grounds is spotless. Enrique and colleagues are attentive at the bar and poolside, Reyes and Eloy ensured we had towels, shade, bookings, luggage collected etc, Guadalope is an excellent chef in Bordeaux and it was a joy to meet her, her team, Honoros, Felipe. Luis and Tania. The Teppenyaki experience was superb, and led to friendships around the table. World Cafe leaves much to be desired but other restaurants are lovely. Evening entertain is great! All in all a great two weeks of holiday. Thank you.

3 stars rather than 2 because all the staff we encountered were very friendly and because any day on a beach is better than a day at home. Having said that, this is a “meh” resort, in my opinion. The food at each of the restaurants is average and often not what is described on the menu. The only exception to this for us was El Patio which was much better than what I expected based on others’ reviews. The service on the beach and at the pools was subpar compared to other all inclusives. Servers didn’t come by very often and took excessively long to deliver drinks. The resort also ran out of beach towels every single day which is just not acceptable. People also had a very hard time finding chairs. Lastly, housekeeping was very inconsistent and the property, including rooms, is pretty run down. We had a good week relaxing and recharging but won’t return to this particular resort.

The resort is slightly dated and could use a refresh. The rooms are certainly not on par with other resorts in the area and left us disappointed The food is as expected and decent for all inclusive standards. I enjoyed the variety of options (both international and Mexican). With that said,, the service was fantastic throughout our stay and the staff kept a positive attitude despite being clearly understaffed. I wouldn't return to this resort as there are superior alternatives in the Tulum area.
