Beautiful place to stay! I loved that during our trip, we didn’t have to leave the resort at all. Sometimes on vacation, you just want to relax in one place, enjoy the sun and the beach, and escape the cold for a while—and this resort was perfect for that. There were several good restaurants on-site, and even a small pharmacy, which was super convenient. The staff were all very friendly and always smiling, which made us feel really welcome.

Shocked someone put the id as a 5 star resort. First of all, it’s over crowded with several weddings per day… The service is TERRIBLE. Every time we encountered an issue we were treated with disrespect of dismissal I spent over 10 minutes waiting to make a room service request only to be put on hold when they answered me Out bedroom AC didn’t work and the shower didn’t heat up. They changed us to a room that did. Or have the view we paid for. The AC did work but the toilet in that room was broken. Overall the service was just really terrible. Even something as simple as asking for a golf cart driver to take us to the front entrance which is a long walk was received with literally them ignoring us and driving Truly poor service. The resort is beautiful but filled with raccoons and we also saw rats. Do not recommend!!!!

Overall, my stay was okay. We had a swim-up room, which was spacious and clean, and the pools were well maintained. The nature around the resort was beautiful, and the customer service was very good. My favorite part of the trip was the spa—it was excellent. The entertainment team also did a great job. On the downside, the food was disappointing. Not all of the restaurants that are advertised were actually open during our stay. We really wanted to try El Patio, the Mexican restaurant, but it was only open one day, so we didn’t get the chance to experience it. Room service was also a letdown—the menu had very limited options and it took about an hour for food to arrive. Another negative was the $200 “incentive” offer to attend a so-called breakfast presentation, which turned out to be a 3-hour timeshare sales pitch. I would strongly recommend avoiding that. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and unfortunately, this one was my least favorite. Because of the food, lack of consistent restaurant availability, and poor room service, I can only give this resort 3 stars.

Worst “resort” I have ever stayed at. Rooms: definitely not a swim out room swine area fits one person almost like a lazy river for one. Tons of bugs in the room. Found quite a few in my shower dead and alive. My cousins had them in their beds and flying around the room. Mold on the shower head. Their hallway area lights were blown out. Room was off in a very wooded area. They switched our room and charged us an additional $70 a night to move rooms. Buffet: dried up cold food, breakfast was the same way and we got there when they opened. No breakfast choices. Seaside Grill: there were roaches on the table and the waiter still tried to seat us like it was normal. Overall resort: raccoons and cats everywhere. The preferred club lady told us that’s normal. Well I didn’t pay all this money for this so we switched hotels.

This was our first trip to Dreams Tulum, we were are Secrets Dominican Republic in December. This resort has a lot of old Mexican charm. If could use some updates in the outdoor department. The activity was not that clean, and the water was quite cool. The music is so load so many people try to go to the beautiful relation pool, however it is extremely difficult to get in and out of the pool with no stairs and only 2 old ladders so you see person after person struggling to get in and out. We spoke to many people about putting something in the pool to use as a step. They said they would not do that as it would not be good for the water. In the end many people starting putting chairs or tables into the pool just to use to get out. It is such a nice pool just really a shame to not fix this pool. They can just put in stair in the shallow end. The beach was not very inviting. Slightly rocky and big drop. The was was not clear or blue like you expect in Mexico. Very surprised. Very few people were even in the water due to this. The birds near the Barefoot grill are super aggressive and steal your food. They need more non Mexican food options on the buffet. Simply things on the breakfast menu like bacon or sausage. The best restaurant was Bordeaux. The portofino was pretty good as well. The preferred club staff was wonderful. The hotel needs to move to the wrist bands with the hotel key built into it carrying around a key is so old school. The entertainment staff Gonzola and enrich were wonderful. Geyser pool concierge is the amazing he could not do enough. Eleanor the healer was a really nice experience. Your celebration of Halloween and day of the dead celebration was absolutely the most amazing experience. You guys went all out. So much detail to tge decorations and the party. You staff is amazing. The drink servers always friendly and accommodating.
