Overall I'd give this resort 4/5. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the service was great. We stayed in a premium room. The food was great, besides room service. The room service food was a little bland but the restaurants are great. We loved the Italian and World Cafe. You can always get into World Cafe but may need to wait for the Italian but never too long. The beach was very clean and plenty of chairs. If you are someone who likes entertainment, this probably isn't for you. They had one show every night that we enjoyed but that was it. We did a lot of excursion and relaxed by the beach. If you aren't looking to leave the resort you might pick a different hotel but overall I really enjoyed my stay!

Not a good experience at all. For spending 2400 dollars for 1 adult and 2 kids under the age of 10 was ridiculous. Get to room, it was very basic, no balcony, phone didn’t work in room to call for room service for 4-5 days, was told 4 times someone would come, nobody ever came. Upon arrival first day room floor was completely soaked in water, nobody ever came for that either, toilet was stopped up, nobody came to fix it, room wasn’t cleaned for 2-3 days, had to go down stairs every time i needed towels or room service because phone didn’t work, room service brings whatever they want instead of what’s ordered. Just a bad experience overall for the amount of money paid. Only good thing was the beach and boat ride.

We were here six years ago and it was great. Our second time here is very disappointing. Rooms are rundown. Locks on doors don’t work. Our room didn’t have any soap or shampoo on arrival. Sheets had old stain on it. The ac wasn’t working properly. We ended up switching rooms and upgrading but even there we ran into a few issues. The towels by the pool don’t seem to be washed daily. Several had stains on various different days. Today the pool attendant woke me up while sleeping by the pool to tell me my sun umbrella has to be closed. He didn’t close other umbrellas near by. There were two other umbrellas near me left open. The managers didn’t seem to care when I asked them to correct this and pretended they don’t understand what the issue is. The only good thing about this place is the beach. We have preferred club but the food is the same everywhere. It hasn’t really made any difference.

The rooms are pretty basic and small. Oceanview was breathtaking. I'm not entirely convinced that room service actually changed our sheet, but the bed was made up daily. Room service was punctual and food was good. I was misled about the resort credit that came with my booking. This was extremely disappointing and wasted lots of time doing the Hyatt tour to earn credits we were entitled to (with no terms or conditions). We didn't upgrade to preferred and regretted it - no top shelf liquor unless you're preferred. Entertainment was decent. For adults only looking to party would not recommend. For older crowd looking to relax- YES! Also not much of a "mixed" crowd.
Otherwise very nice location with tons of local shops right across the street. Night/party life 15 min walk or 5 min uber. Family friendly for sure!

I gave this property five stars because of the service I received and the hospitality of the staff, management and housekeeping. The only negative thing is that there is minimal entertainment. Some needed upgrades to the rooms to make them more desirable and most importantly there was no place for adults too play such as a disco or club. There is absolutely nothing wrong with children. However, if that is not the vibe you're looking for you will be in the wrong place. There is a very family oriented property. I utilized the spa services and hydrotherapy. I also enjoyed my time at the spa. However, it didn't meet the expectations of the other Dreams resorts that I have stayed at at their other locations and destinations.
