We had a wonderful stay!! Jeffrey and Dolores spoiled us with service at the preferred swim up rooms coming from serving The Grotto swim up pool bar. Everyday they had a smile and put on miles of service for everyone!! The beach is fantastic, buffet was disappointing but the hibachi and French where good! Off site Sacred River was fun!! Had kids with us ages 6, 9 and 12. Atv, horse and swimming! Michael through preferred also did a wonderful job scheduling the paddle boats, hibachi and small preferences!!

We had an unforgettable stay at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana in December 2025, and it truly exceeded all expectations. We booked the Preferred Club side, which has been recently renovated, and the rooms were absolutely beautiful — some of the nicest we’ve experienced in the Caribbean. We’ve stayed at Finest Punta Cana before, and honestly, Dreams Royal Beach offered comparable luxury with even better overall value. The food was great, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff went above and beyond. A special mention to Wilkin, who served us by the pool all week. He somehow appeared the moment our glasses were empty — always smiling, attentive, and genuinely kind. Service like that really makes a difference. And of course, our VIP concierge Marcelo was fantastic. He was always just a quick message away. He handled every request with speed, kindness, and attention to detail, making what’s usually the “administrative side” of vacation feel effortless. After a disappointing stay at Lopesan Punta Cana last year, where service was cold and disorganized, we were hesitant to return to the Dominican Republic. But I’m happy to say that Dreams Royal Beach completely restored our faith. We’ll gladly come back and will be booking with Hyatt beach resorts in the Dominican Republic moving forward!

We had such an amazing vacation at Dreams Royal Beach. The staff are wonderful. There are so many staff that are always happy to help. We were very spoiled by the kindness, friendliness, and willingness of the staff to help with any need. I've never been anywhere with such great staff. Another great feature of this hotel is the location. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. I've read many reviews where the beach was loud, and patrons were constantly being solicited by vendors. That was not the case on this beach. It is very quiet and there were almost no vendors and they left us alone. The beach was wonderful. The pools are also beautiful and quiet. We have three children ages 19, 21 and 23. We were looking for somewhere that wasn't a party scene but would be enjoyable for our family. This place fit the bill perfectly. We also saw lots of animals in the mangrove which was fun to observe and photograph. The restaurants were also very nice. If you have food allergies, they do a great job at the restaurants helping you make good food choices. I would say, however, that the buffet isn't quite as well marked. There are tons of places were you can get desserts, pastries, ice cream, etc at all hours of the day. If you're both gluten free and dairy free, there aren't a ton of desserts for you, but I was okay with the options. We had such a great experience. Everything was clean, quiet, and well cared for. No surprises. Quick check in, quick check out. Couldn't have had a better experience. So happy with our choice to stay at Dreams Royal Beach.

Just came back from a week at Dreams Royal Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are so clean and every washroom is spotless. The rooms are clean and the food is delicious, the buffet has lots to choose from. The people are so friendly and polite. The nightly entertainment is great every show was awsome. My favourite was Retro night. Baby Face does a great job. I will be telling my friends about this resort and I will definitely be back. Thanks Dreams for a great weeks vacation. The beach is amazing you can walk forever.

We had a very enjoyable 10 day stay at Dreams Royal Beach, Punta Cana over the Christmas holiday with our family. We loved the size of the resort and walkability to the beach, pools, activities and local nature! The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was good and the waiters were very attentive. A special shoutout to our drink servers Ambiorix on the beach, and Jeffry C poolside. They were excellent, friendly, affable servers! We have one complaint! On our last night, we had a Teppanyaki table booked for 7:30 but we did not get to our seats until 20 minutes later. That caused our meal to be a rushed affair as the chef, the server and the supervisor were hurrying to get us out for the next seating at 9. We enjoyed the food but we felt rushed so that was a disappointment!
