My family vacation was absolutely amazing! I could not believe how friendly the entire staff was. From all staff at the Cafe', pool staff, etc. (especially Victor who took great care of us for two days when we had a cabana) Make sure you ask for him! I loved how kid friendly it was, which is why we went. Our maid for our room did a great job with having two little children and got a little messy, we always came back to a nice clean room. Beds made, fresh towels, anything we needed was just a phone call away too. They had events each night, which was a perfect way to unwind for the night with the kids. (Fire shows, circus, and magic show we attended). Even have a kids play area where you drop of the kids so Mom and Dad can explore, grab a bite to eat, etc. They give you a buzzer like they do at restaurants and when your kids are done playing they buzz you to get them. Arcade area is nice to for the kids to play. The gym was pretty good, it is what it is when traveling, but you still can get in a great workout with limited equipment. Plenty of cardio equipment. I recommended going early as you can since it does get busy first thing in the morning. Breakfast at the Cafe' was spectacular. Omelets are very good and the cook was great! Plus other great options for breakfast food. We will definitely be back or go to one of their other resorts!

We had an incredible time at Dreams! The staff was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service. A special shoutout to Sergio and Jonathan—they were absolutely amazing! The rooms were decent, but I highly recommend getting an ocean view room. It’s worth the extra cost. The food was okay, not bad, but definitely could be improved. The atmosphere was great, but the entertainment options could be better. Having a live DJ at the pool or playing music would be a welcome addition. On a positive note, they made sure we didn’t miss home during the 4th of July experience. That was a nice touch! Overall, we had an amazing time and will definitely be returning!

I have spent the last five days at Dreams Riviera Cancun, and today is my last day at the Resort. My experience at this incredible resort has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I can truly say I have nothing but praise for every aspect of my stay. From the moment I arrived, the reception was flawless—truly a 10 out of 10. The warmth and professionalism of the staff, from check-in to every corner of the hotel, was exceptional. The room I was assigned was pure luxury—spacious, impeccably clean, and complete with a private jacuzzi both inside and on the balcony. The stunning sea views allowed me to witness breathtaking sunrises, making each morning feel magical. Room service was consistently perfect—prompt, courteous, and attentive. As for the dining experience, it was simply outstanding. From the elegant presentation of each dish to the exquisite flavors, every meal was a true delight. The resort also offers daily activities at the pool and an open bar throughout the day, which added a touch of relaxation and fun to each day. With three expansive pools and a large jacuzzi, I had no shortage of places to unwind. The waitstaff was always attentive, ensuring that my needs were met with a smile and genuine care. To the entire team at Dreams Riviera Cancun, I want to express my deepest gratitude. I leave with my heart full of cherished memories, each moment spent here will remain with me always.

The Wedding was great, they did a really a beautiful event. The room we stayed in was a good size with plenty of light and interesting curved layout. The ocean view rooms have a rather minimal "ocean view". The Food in the buffet cafe wasn't great except at breakfast and when we tried room service it was a 90 min wait time. The other restaurants also had long waits and unfortunately the fish was overcooked. HOWEVER, the staff, service and every interaction with the people that work there was 5 stars ! Regarding seaweed on the beach. They try to keep the beach clean but it is an ever ending battle and with that you can swim in the ocean but we didn't want to have to cross the seaweed. The infinity pool is great, some behavior of adults was questionable and uncomfortable but it is what it is. I do recommend you get a cabana at either the beach (quieter) or infinity pool. The lounge chairs outside of that are full at 9am with people putting stuff on them and walking away. The other two pools are more for families kids and people that like playing volleyball in the pool etc. There are weddings almost overnight, you can hear them until around 11pm. It was't an issue for us.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. This was my first time traveling outside the country, and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the trip started off poorly—the wait for our bags to arrive at my room took an unreasonably long time. At check-in, one bartender was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, my experience quickly changed for the worse. A second bartender, Armando, blatantly ignored me in favor of white guests—more than once. The first time, I tried to brush it off, thinking maybe it was just bad timing. But the second time was harder to ignore: I was the only person at the bar, and as he finished preparing a drink, a group of white women walked up behind me. Instead of serving me, he looked past me and served them first. It was deeply upsetting. This was the first time I have ever personally experienced racism, and it left me shocked and disgusted—especially on the very first day of what was meant to be a joyful family reunion. Several other members of my family noticed and experienced similar behavior throughout our stay. As for the food: unfortunately, it was a major letdown. I’d rate it 0/10. The best meals I had were outside of the resort—particularly a sandwich I had on a yacht. Within the resort, the food was unappetizing, and the service from some of the staff bordered on rude. The steak was boiled, the waiters were dismissive, and overall it felt like we were more of a burden than guests. Given everything going on in the world regarding racism and inclusivity, I expected better—especially at a resort that markets itself as welcoming and luxurious. My family and I will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously. Discrimination has no place anywhere—especially not in hospitality.
