I just returned from Mexico where I love being because it's such a beautiful place. I made the mistake of booking this Dream place was more like a nightmare. The main floor and grounds were beautiful. I booked a room and even upgraded to VIP. To my surprise VIP is very basic and insulting. My room was no better than a room in a Motel 6. The room was so outdated and even felt dingy. Room service for VIP was a 2 hour wait. The first night, my phone in the room wasn't working to call the front desk and let them know the outlets were out. The concierge has no way of making change for big bills really... what kind of service is this????? I understand that the food would be different but every restaurant there was challenging. If you are going to have a Japanese restaurant on the grounds at least have the basic training to know what the easiest of things should taste like. The staff was lovely and I feel bad that they are the ones listening to all the issues. Lastly try renovating those rooms. I will not be returning. They need to update the pictures on the website what you see is not what you get.

My husband and I got married here in January and absolutely loved our stay. Any staff we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders and wait staff were always on point with their service and drinks were delicious. The food here was probably the best resort food we have had, especially the food on our wedding day! Our wedding coordinator, Samuel, was incredible. He was super helpful with any questions we had and he was just so easy to chat with. He was super detailed when communicating with us and helped make our wedding day unforgettable! If you are assigned to work with Samuel, you will not be disappointed!! Our wedding photographer Ivan (Adventure Photo), did an incredible job, we love our photos!! Overall, this resort was perfect for hosting our wedding and to party with our wedding guests for the week!

Don’t waste your money here. We spent almost $10k on a vacation for our family plus our babysitter to travel with us and the whole trip left so much to be desired. The food was AWFUL, like inedible, at every restaurant. We even booked specialty dining and those meals were just as bad. Not to mention there were hour plus waits at every restaurant, regardless of preferred club status.
The drinks were weak and sickeningly sweet.
The staff is kind, housekeeping is great, the location is close to the airport, which is nice. The spa was great.
The pools were also gross, lots of hair in them. Also they have several weddings every day there and so it feels like if you’re there on vacation, you’re in the way.
Overall, try Dreams Puerto Adventuras, that one was worlds better.

Fabulous all round vacation for our group of 16.
Rooms were large, clean with very effective AC.
Only a 25 min shuttle from Cancun airport.
Service was spot on thanks to Wilbert and Omar by the pool/beach. Erick had a cocktail cart that was extra special.
First class restaurant food and service, thanks to servers Johanna, Vincent, Veronica and Sheila just to name a few. Kudos to the staff behind the scenes. Definitely a resort to revisit.

This was the first time travelling with our 7-month-old and the staff, food, and amenities at Dreams Cancun were beyond what we could have ever imagined. Our group had 14 people (ranging from 7 month to 80 years) and there was something for everyone – from yoga on the beach, to the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, to the kid’s waterpark, face painting and everything in between. They even had cribs, sterilizers, and highchairs available so we could travel (a little bit) lighter.
The pool staff were incredible – we had the pleasure of a poolside cabana for two days and Jesus, Javier, and the entire pool concierge team, along with Ricardo and the pool bar staff made sure we were pampered all day.
Most importantly - what sets this resort apart from the others we have visited was the outstanding staff. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and accommodating and ensured we had the best vacation. It is tricky coordinating a large group but the team at Dreams made it seem easy.
We will definitely be returning next year! Thank-you to everyone!!!
