We would have given one star if it wasn't for Omar. He saved our vacation from being a total disaster. We have been to Cancun 11 times and never had a hotel this bad. We paid for a pool view and got the end of the kiddie pool, which the desk insisted was a pool view. We met Omar while sitting by the pool waiting for friends. He asked if we were happy about every thing. We told him no and he immediately had our room changed to a nice pool view room. The food was mediocre at best. Out of all times we have been to Cancun, this is the first time we've ever had to leave a bad review. Go some place else! You might not have Omar to fix things.

Our family of 7 people enjoyed 5 days at this resort. We had three rooms which they arranged to be next to each other. The two kids age 10&15 were busy all day with activities. I had an a/c problem and they came quickly to fix it. The food was good and small portions but no problem getting more of something. I found the evening entertainment repetitive. Mostly acrobatics that were excellent but not every night. The staff were excellent and kept checking on us if we needed anything. Having dolphins on the resort was amazing but really expensive if you want to swim with them. It was a separate tour company and had nothing to do with the resort. There were a lot of weddings that I enjoyed watching and some guests complained about the music at night but it was over by 11:00. We all enjoyed ourselves!

I had an awesome time at Dreams Playa Mujeres. The staff who help the resort run are amazing, especially the housekeeping and food service staff. When I ordered room service (ordered a cheeseburger and fries), they delivered it in under an hour. The food is very tasty with great attention to quality. Additionally, the housekeeping staff are extremely helpful. Whenever I put a request in the app for them to clean our room, they arrived within minutes. You can put in requests for whatever you need, such as essentials like clean towels, bottled water, and paper products like tissues. When I sent a message requesting any of those items, they made sure to deliver it quickly. The beach is very nice with beautiful white sand and aquamarine waters.

Beautiful family resort. Lazy River should be for all, not just those that paid for preferred. Mediterranean and Asian Fusion were great. Hibachi needs more availability, and you should be able to make reservations in person. The app didn't work the entire time I was at the resort. Beach was clean, and I loved that the dolphin excursion was located on the resort. It made I easier for my children. They left the pool and went straight to dolphin and cove and then back to pool.

Hyatt Dreams Playa Mujeres resort was unfortunately far from the idyllic experience we hoped for. During our four-day stay, we faced numerous issues. The air conditioning was broken for two of those days, making our room uncomfortable. Additionally, the elevator was out of order for three days, which was highly inconvenient.
The food quality was disappointing, with most dishes being nearly inedible. The pool was poorly maintained, with food floating in it, and the private beach was covered in mounds of seaweed and littered with trash along the waterline. Most concerning, we discovered bed bugs in our room, which was the final straw in an already disheartening stay. This was the worst experience I’ve had in my many years of world travel, and the resort urgently needs significant improvements.
