Stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it!! Things we loved: —French and seafood restaurants were 11/10. Insanely good quality!!! —pool and beach were nice, wish there were more chairs but I think this is how it goes at these places —room service food was AMAZING and so fresh —rooms were so big, loved the outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony —staff were so friendly and welcoming! Things we didn’t love: —buffet food wasn’t great. Tasted like it was left to sit out all day —sometimes there were long waits at the restaurants. Not all of them were open every day so having them all open would prob solve this problem —our last day it rained and they cancelled the fire show but didn’t have any activities in place of it. Would be nice if they had more programming going on in the evening hours

This was our second time returning to dreams and we absolutely love this resort. Super Mario (Mario our bartender) is top notch. We absolutely love him and he is what keeps us coming back! He is very friendly and even taught us his recipes for spicy margaritas. From preparing us drinks without having to wave him down, to teaching us his ways- he is the best! The rooms are also very updated and modern. Secrets next door is under construction, but it isn’t bothersome as they are only loud during normal business hours. The food is great, I’m a food snob and don’t have anything to complain about. We walked into every restaurant with little to no wait and had great service.

I will preface by saying resort is pretty and has a beautiful beach but, horrible service, terrible food and cocktails suck. Staff is constantly trying to upsell you. The air conditioning in the room barely works. Never received housekeeping after requesting for it. Room service takes forever for bland, tough and cardboard tasting food. Only 1 restaurant open for dinner each night besides the buffet. “Snack” options in a Preferred room are a stale mini container of Pringles and Peanut M&M’s. Sinks don’t properly drain. Towels for the beach were hard to come by. Umbrella in our room was broken and wouldn’t open and several other umbrellas we had to search high and low for were also broken. Concierge in the Preferred lounge were super unhelpful and didn’t even try to help us find a working umbrella. Overall terrible experience here and will never be back.

My friend and I stayed at the resort last week and we had a blast! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious (the French restaurant with a lobster filled crepe was phenomenal!) , and the ocean was breathtaking! What a blessed place! Thank you for everyone and especially Guillermo, Mario, Suri, and many others who have made our visit so special! Thank you!

This is a good place to go with children. Being used to adult-only resort I wouldn't really recommend it other than traveling with kids or family travel. Is it in the lower range of what to expect of a 5 star in Cancun. Food was just ok.... well it was not that good actually. The room was nice but its an old hotel so the smell of mold was present. We took the preferred king suite - sea front But the sea was very far. It did not feel at all like a sea fromt. The place was quite noisy. Lound music is to be expected until 11. Plus we got an alarm clock waking us up early morning which, even disconnected would wake us up early morning. The preferred cabanas were great. No sea view but very comfortable. Overall ok. Location and beach were great. I wouldn't really recommend it.
