This resort was amazing. The staff was attentive, polite and all around wonderful. The room was clean and spacious, and the pools are amazing. I would give the food 7/10 with the French restaurant being the best. The drinks were always good and the carts to take you around the property as well as access the breathless property next door was amazing. The only thing I think they should improve on was entertainment as I felt this was a little underwhelming. Otherwise great property and will definitely be back.

I came here for a family vacation with my husband and our one year old. Overall I would absolutely recommend this resort for families! It was a very good fit for our needs.
The staff were super friendly to us and our daughter. Our travel agent requested that our room have extra water so we could wash our daughter’s bottles and dishes and they gave us a whole case. There were always high chairs available wherever we ate.
Between the beach and the different pools we spent most of our time swimming. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was great. The scenery is beautiful!
We came in May and it was not super crowded which was great. There were always chairs available at the pools and beach.
There were enough dining options, although it was hit or miss how good the food was. The Mediterranean and Mexican restaurants were our favorites!
The main issue we had was the AC in our room which worked but definitely did not keep the room cool enough. A minor issue was that service could be pretty slow but we weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a huge deal.
I did the introductory massage at the spa which was very good and included an hour in the hydrotherapy circuit which was great. The normal spa treatments are expensive though, even if you have the resort coupons.

I really enjoyed my visit at Dream Onyx. I was looking for a peaceful vacation. I enjoyed every second of it. The butler that I has, Breilin was very nice and helpful. He helped us with reservations for our activities, spa, and one of the most popular restaurants on the resort. I enjoyed talking to the staff while I was eating and waiting for our food. The staff is very attentive and tries to resolve any issues you have with your food or room as quickly as possible. Their entertainment team is also great, too. My favorite events were the Fire Show and the all white party.

Beautiful resort, clean rooms, great food and amazing workers!! Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome. Vida, the lady at the towel hut was unbelievably amazing! She is so genuine and has a beautiful smile and personality. Seeing Vida at the towel hut before heading to the beach always put a smile on my face!!
Overall, we would definitely travel here again. Absolutely no complaints🤗

So far our third day at dreams onyx and I have nothing to brag about. Where to begin from the check in, we are a party of 13 with 4 rooms and are member of the unlimited vacation club, that did not help to get our rooms in time we got our 2 of our rooms past one hour and half late. Also food has been poor at best. The rib eye steak at the blue water was super dry and hard. The beach can be much so much cleaner. The waits at the restaurant over 90 minutes. We have missed almost every night show due to the ridiculous waits. We want to getaway from stress and this has been very stressful and frustrating. I can’t recommend to come to this hotel or the unlimited vacation club.
I’m very disappointed at dreams onyx. So update after waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes to eat at the Cin Cin Mediterranean restaurant the risotto shrimp was raw. We had to walk out of the restaurant and rush to another to get some to eat.
