Overall our vacation has been good. I would love to give a higher review because the staff have been great, but unfortunately I can't. While the resort itself claims to be "family friendly" and there are certainly family friendly amenities, the decisions made by management have not alligned with this. I can appreciate weddings bring in a lot of money for the resort, however, loud music blaring, screaming and yelling on microphones until 11pm at night is not family friendly. The difficulty getting our child to sleep because of the noise (coming from both sides of our room) ruined evenings that my wife and I were hoping would be our opportunity to have some adult time. Despite the fabulous staff and their wonderful treatment of our family I do not think we would come back, or recommend the resort to our friends with young children because of the noise.

Service and staff were great but decisions made by hotel management overall dampened the experience. Rooms had a mildew/old smell that required a request for room change but the smell, though lessened, was still present. We paid extra to be given access to the Adults Only pool, but children were frequently allowed in the area with intermittent rule enforcement. This is often due to poor signage (just one sign at one entrance), but One day seating was limited at other pools for a promotional video so the Adults Only pool was access to all for the day. If that’s going to happen, inform guests so they can plan accordingly (activity/spa day). Why pay extra for amenities not provided? Definitely not a luxury resort based on the shelf of liquor and food provided. Food was just okay with the expectation it would not be high quality for an all inclusive, which is why we believe the rooms are overpriced by $200 per night. We look forward to exploring different, hopefully better options for future stays in Mexico.
Edit: the single most redeeming quality/person of this resort is the lady who makes tortillas from scratch and operates the taco bar (multiple delicious salsas and cojita cheese) at the morning buffet. Please bring cash and tip her. She deserves to be the highest paid employee and she should be paid to operate that post for as long as she wishes (meaning we selfishly wished she could be open morning, afternoon, and night, that’s how good it is). Better than any of the restaurants, poolside, or room service options.

Very nice resort. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the refrigerator was filled too! Room service was great as well as the service. The location is 15 to 30 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. Excursions were well attended at locations such as swimming with the dolphins and Xcaret. Nightly music at their entry was very good as well as quiet hours observed at 11 p.m. we found the staff to be very attentive to your drink selections and for a full resort around Easter our wait time was long st the pool side grill. The food however, was excellent.

Loved everything about this resort, our room was great and cleaned all the time, we came for a wedding so didn’t have a whole lot of free time but the buffet, blue water grill the barefoot grill and the Asian restaurant was what we tried were all amazing. There was a lot of kids but at the end of the day it was a family friendly resort so we knew that. I Definitely recommend the spa we did an hour and the girl was so sweet and very informative! All the staff we came in contact with was amazing. And the fact that there is guest that are rude to them is crazy to me! Please be kind to them, and of course if you can please tip them just to show them some appreciation they work so hard.

I found this resort to be average. I was expecting more for a Dreams. I upgraded and had a beautiful suite but the housekeeping wasn’t great. The sink taps didn’t have water flowing well. Seems plumbing is needed. The resort isn’t well kept. Staff seem sparse and don’t clean as they go. The beach was covered in water bottles and empty glasses and plastic garbage. They got to it eventually but only cleaned at day end or morning. You lived the day with it all around you in the sand and on tables. Garbages were not emptied so became heaping. They closed off half the resort while the resort was full to do some sort of pathway work and they kept kicking guests off the unused day beds even though they took away the chairs around the pools. The resort looks terrible with all the construction and we were not warned about it happening. People had to just lay on the beach in their towels. Food wasn’t great and service wasn’t friendly. I paid way too much for this experience. On top of it all, they had two weddings and a corporate event all the same night with blasting music competing against each other. I felt bad for the weddings and it was annoying to hear music so loud and competing with each other. Sadly not a resort I will return too. I was hoping to bring a conference here but I won’t be now.
