We loved our stay here. They are great with kids, the facility is clean, some of the cleanest public bathrooms in any resort or hotel, the drinks are good quality not watered down or cheap brands. The food was the best. We loved each restaurant and the buffet. The Spa was incredible. Very impressed by all aspects of this resort.

We came to Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana for a Valentine’s getaway, and it exceeded every expectation we had. Our butler, Adrian Valentin, was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for our experience truly stood out. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made us feel completely taken care of. We were honestly blown away by his thoughtfulness. We also want to recognize Willie at the private beach area for select members. The service there was just as exceptional—relaxed, welcoming, and first-class. Every team member we encountered throughout the resort was warm, attentive, and committed to making guests feel special. This was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have had in a very long time. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful, yet still vibrant and full of life. What surprised us most was how family-friendly the resort felt. As parents, we couldn’t help but think how perfect this place would be for our two young children. We’re already planning our return—next time with the kids. Thank you to the entire Dreams Macao team for an unforgettable Valentine’s experience. We can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I stayed at Dreams Macao the first week of February and despite a little bit of rain the weather was fantastic. The waves on the beach were too rough for swimming, but I feel they enhanced the quality of the scenery. It truly is a beautiful beach. The pool with the swim-up bar and the lazy river was where we spent most of our time. Both areas can get busy, but if you choose your spot early, say after breakfast, you are sure to have a good time. The best part about our stay was the friendly, efficient, and quality service provided by all of the staff at the resort. The dancers and entertainment team do an amazing job of bringing the fun. The bar and waitstaff were all attentive and prompt. Kenny, Cookie, Cristy, Babyface, and many others made us feel welcome and want to visit again. Would recommend.

Recently stayed at Dreams Macao Beach for a week stay with 9 family members. The overall trip was fantastic. The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. The resort was large enough to feel grand, yet not too overwhelming in size. Meal options were better than expected. Our favorite part of the trip was the staff. So many key staff truly made this a memorable experience, especially for our 11 year old daughter. Victor, Baby Face and especially Diana (from the entertainment team) took to my daughter with a level of genuine care and excitement. These three really made the trip special for her! Another shout out to Omar, our butler. He took exceptional care of us too. Overall, the staff throughout the resort were incredible. The only bummer (for those who haven't visited the resort) is that the ocean was a bit rough which seems to be the reason why on-site water sports weren't an option. We did miss the ability for kayaking, pedal boats, snorkeling, and paddle boarding that we do enough at other resorts. The pools were great, but we didn't get much ocean time in.

Beautiful resort with some important "need-to-knows" We recently returned from a week-long family stay at Dreams Macao Beach. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The resort is compact and easy to navigate on foot, and our room was both spacious and comfortable. Dining: You certainly won't go hungry. While the food didn't necessarily "wow" me, the selection was decent—the fresh fish was often in restaurnats options, the Taco Truck by the water slides were highlights. My only critique is the lack of local produce; given how incredible (and affordable) local avocados and mangoes are, I was disappointed not to see them served. Beach & Service: We spent most of our time at the beach, which had plenty of seating and fresh towels. The staff is the heartbeat of this resort. The entertainment team is incredibly hardworking, transitioning from morning yoga to evening stage performances with high energy. A special shout-out to our butler, Alejandro, who was attentive and always available. Important Tips: Construction: Avoid Building 1 (Preferred Club) if you want peace. We were initially assigned a room facing a loud construction site with drilling starting before 8:00 AM. Thankfully, the front desk moved us to the only remaining quiet room . Ocean Safety: The water is beautiful but can be rough. Be very careful of submerged rocks near the center of the beach—I suffered a bad bruise and a cut on my first day. Walk a bit to the left or right for a safer entry. I’ve suggested a warning sign to management, but please be cautious! Supporting Locals: If you walk left down the beach, you’ll find local vendors and horses. If you meet Luiz, the young man with the horses, he is lovely. If you go for a ride or just want to pat horses, consider bringing him a snack or some water, as he works long hours in the sun.
