The hotel is nice, especially for the 300ish price we got it at. Nice and big, decent food and selection, ample amenities, entertainment, etc. The rooms are very nice, no worries there.
My 4 stars comes from mainly the timeshare people at the front, sneakily pushing you into their meetings AS PART of the check in process. Completely unacceptable in my opinion, diminishes your brand when it’s forced on you like that.
Second negative is commonly said but it’s true, they’re a wedding factory. 2 or 3 in a day, seems like everyday.
Lastly, the beach is unusable, as far as going into the water. Water is too rough, wouldn’t try it.
All in all, you can’t go wrong for the price. If you want better and there is on this island, you will pay more

Dreams Macao Resort is a new resort that offers a host of things to do. The food from the World Cafe is delicious. This restaurant offers popular food from around the world. Staff, for the most part, is attentive and pleasant. One thing that was a negative for me was the creation of exclusive restaurants, pools, and lounges called Perferred. Why is the question that came to mind we. Overall, beautiful well kept resort with friendly staff. I would recommend this place especially for families.

it was our family vacation for a week as preferred members, and we absolutely loved it! Very friendly staff, my three kids really enjoyed hanging out with the entertainment crews, who were super funny and "entertaining"! all the outdoor bathrooms were always clean (cleaners stand by at all time). pools were consistently checked and cleaned a few times a day. Although my kids were not interested in going to the kids club but when we checked out the schedule, it looked amusing - it was running until 9pm!!! care providers seemed very fun and nice too. Very spacious all around. We heard that it was 95% booked when we were there but never felt like it was crowded. Buffet was the safe place for our family to grab a meal. Barefoot grills was a great spot for snacking for sure. Other restaurants were okay only because it took us about an hour to receive our orders. All the night shows were great but since our kids were all under 10, they couldn't stay up for the whole show lol beach was gorgeous - soft send, clean, no seaweed. Security was good too. My son accidentally left his favourite hat near the main pool one day. We asked the staff at the lobby the next day and we found it within 20 minutes - the security team had already collected it from the pool the day we lost it, they took a picture, and posted on the intranet so the staff could easily locate it. All five of us enjoyed the water slides and range river, and my kids loved the kids area! I can go on and on about this resort and I am definitely going back 100%

My wife and I spent a week at Dreams Macao beach and it was fabulous. The room was great, the resort was beautiful, and the restaurant food better than we've had at other resources. The best part was our butler Adrian. He was amazing, and made our time at the resort so much better than it would have been without him.

Beach: The sea mostly too rough to swim in, people ended up cut on the sharp rocks, but the pools make up for it - also this is not the resort’s fault, but maybe good to know anyway.
Overall: As for the resort. An ok place, but not 5*, frankly not even sure if 4*.
Room: The water in the shower did not keep a constant temperature, the minibar etc were not replenished daily at all or inconsistently, the shower gel/shampoo / conditioner felt extremely cheap and not premium or even average quality.
Services: Decent gym - well kept. After 11pm, there’s one indoor sad bar open. Where is the party at?? Spa - overpriced and facial & manicure below average quality :(( but others reported a very good massage experience. The laundry was not delivered back to me on time and the “butler” was not responsive - what a useless “perk” that was, having a butler. Please skip this pretentious stuff and get basic stuff working. Although a very nice concierge helped to solve the issue. Constantly no towels available - in a beach / spa resort…ironic? The towels that were there were very used /cheap. Drinks service to the pool iffy and inconsistent. You def have to work on it hard if you want to feel any buzz from the extremely weak drinks. Oh well. This should be a budget resort.
