Absolutely Amazing Property! Hats off to the management and the staff for making this place warm and welcoming. The Property is well kept, the beach and the pools are amazing. The hospitality at this hotel made our vacation extra special. Highly recommend it

This is a 5 star establishment. The property is great with an excellent location. There are two properties here. One for adults and one for families. There is a small safe beach on site. There is also a wonderful water park on site. This is an all-inclusive property. The adult side is just that with staff stationed to ensure no one under 18 is admitted. The restaurants are all wonderful. The snorkeling is very good here also. I highly recommend this property.

My husband and I just got back from a lovely vacation at the Hilton La Romana Adults Only resort. This was our first trip to the DR and we really enjoyed ourselves. A few comments around the pros/cons of our stay at Hilton La Romana:
Pros - We stayed in a Garden View Enclave room and it was HUGE (one living room, one bedroom, very large balcony with 2 separate sitting spaces, and 2 bathrooms and a dining room table). We were very happy with our room choice and even ended up with a view that overlooked partial Caribbean and partial pool! Also a pro was the cleanliness of the facilities and rooms in general. So many staffers there who kept the beaches, pools, and rooms pristine - I didn't notice one thing 'messy' in our stay. Service was also phenomenal - very accommodating to any needs , quick to attend you, and always very pleasant. The infinity pool was gorgeous, refreshing, had a nice swim up bar and great views of the water. The beach also was very clean and had wonderful views each night of the sunset. We relaxed hard on our vacation and switched between the beach to the pool and back most days! The adults side also was very quiet for it being spring break - we felt like we had very few vacationers crowding restaurants, bars, pools and the like which was really nice.
Cons - The fitness center is pretty small and there is only one shared between the family and adults section so the 5 treadmills they have onsite are desirable in the mornings. With that said the weights and cardio options were in working condition and sufficient to get the job done. The food was 'ok' for an all inclusive. I've had much worse but I've also had better. I'd put it at average. The drinks were better then I've had at most other all inclusives that being said and their espresso martinis were amazing! The grill restaurant on the family side had the best view of all and breakfast was good. Sakura had a fun atmosphere in their hibachi section and would highly recommend. The buffet for breakfast was also good. Did appreciate that you didn't need reservations anywhere except Sakura. I didn't love that there were smoking sections at the hotel. You'd usually pass them right before entering a restaurant and that was kind of gross. Given I'm a non-smoker I appreciate when hotels go fully non-smoking on premise. last con is the beach itself is pretty rocky and not a ton of long walks on the beach that you can go do. There are certainly sandy areas where you can walk right in, but it is no 7 mile Jamaican Negril beach which we were accustomed to. I also didn't appreciate the DJ music that went on most nights until 1am and could hear from our room.
All in all, we had a lovely stay and would return again with our kids next time to the family side!

This was our first all-inclusive and I can't imagine how anything could get any better. Fantastic grounds fantastic rooms. My only caveat would be that the food is so-so. If you come be sure to spend the extra money for your private butler it's well worth it

The staff was extremely welcoming and responsive. I thought the food was of good quality and there was a nice variety of restaurants onsite (my favorite was the authentic Dominican restaurant). I had a lot of fun watching the evening entertainment and participating in the daily activities (beach volleyball). The pools and beach were maintained extremely well. I would recommend this resort to my friends and family and would consider coming back. The water park was also a lot of fun!
