Please read this review! Although this resort is visually beautiful.... Everything else is awful at best, I’d like to say mediocre but I can’t even say that. Awful.
I read reviews and contemplated cancelling our reservations here based on what I read, but decided I would go with an open mind and positive outlook and hoped for the best. Sadly, everything negative others have said is true. And our room was robbed.
We upgraded to preferred to enhance our experience. Well, our butler had no phone for our first day there and when he did have his phone we never saw him. Our requests for necessary items were never fulfilled. And we do tip employees to help enhance our experience but the tips meant nothing. Not at the bar and not with the butler.

After reading reviews for dozens of Punta Cana resorts, we settled on Dreams Flora, and we were incredibly glad we did. We traveled with 6 adults and 4 children aged 2 to 9. Everyone had a great time. Rooms for very nice and clean. Staff was super friendly. Everyone made us feel very welcome. Special shout-out to Johan and Boni! We paid for the preferred club and thought it was worth it. The food was good, nothing amazing. We weren’t blown away by anything but there were a lot of options and everything was good enough, especially with young kids. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend Dreams Flora to anyone considering it.

Beautiful location, we felt very secure at this hotel. They had two security guards to sign us in and out when we went out for excursions. The room was lovely it had a massive shower and refreshments were replenished daily. The pools were lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds by the pool and the beach. The restaurants were nice and offered plenty of options. In our experience the entertainment was very late as it started at 9pm. If you use the Hyatt app to request any help they are quick and attentive to completing that request. Overall it was a lovely stay and would recommend for anyone.

This place was totally amazing! The atmosphere, the Staff, the amenities and just the overall experience was outstanding! The Staff were over the top working with excellent! They made you feel like you were home! Every step of the way with every experience with the Staff was just wonderful!
The rooms were so grand! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were big, there was a balcony, great view, the bathrooms were big and there was a double head shower! There was plenty of closet space, shelving and space! Safety was absolutely no issue or concern! The beach was beautiful!
And there was a activities and space for the children! The kids had their own section in the food area

Let’s start off by saying make sure you bring bug spray. The way that the mosquitoes attack you in the bathroom is crazy it’s so crazy my husband had to kill so many mosquitoes it wasn’t even funny. I was bit every time I walked in the bathroom. We asked for the room to be sprayed but I honestly do not believe it was ever sprayed. Secondly I would like to point out the lack of entertainment for this to be a family resort, I would not bring my children here, there is a limited amount of family activities. There is elevator music playing by the pool daily this honestly feels like more of place for someone who has retired and would enjoy peace and quiet. I was not impressed in the slightest way. On top of the lack of entertainment the pool closes at 7pm. This is the only thing you have to entertain the kids and yet it closes before sunset, they will have nothing to do after dinner. Some nights you might have live music but that’s not entertaining to kids. We have visited several other resorts but this one would have to be the worse with the lack of entertainment even for me as an adult I was honestly bored out of my mind with the elevator music I had to listen to in the pool and hear near the beach. I wish I would have booked another resort for this to be my first time in DR but I know better now and I will not be returning to this location for a family trip. One a positive note go to barefoot grill near the beach and go enjoy Elvin and Arturo for entertainment,great food and drinks they were truly the life of the party for our entire experience!!!
