Highly recommend this resort! This is definitely a place I would love to return to. The food is delicious, with a great variety to suit even the fussiest eaters. Although the resort offers five different restaurants, I especially enjoyed the buffet. The service is excellent—everyone is friendly, smiling, and always happy to help. There are multiple swimming pools and bars, so the resort never feels crowded, and it’s easy to find a free deck chair at any time. The rooms look great and are very well maintained, with housekeeping taking care of cleaning twice a day. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!

This is a 1-week girlfriends trip and we had a fabulous time at the resort. The food, service, staff and amenities are excellent. Some days we even enjoyed multiple dinners at different restaurants. The daily shows were top notch amazing, from the Rock Show, the Circus Show to the Retro Show...every night is different theme and exciting! There's also nightly music and dance in the common area led by super fun and friendly staff members. We loved to learn and follow the lead to dance Merengue and Bachata. Stanlin and Raibel are the best dance guides on the floor, they made the experience fun and we were laughing while wiggling, the energy was over the top, pure happiness for just being there. This resort has a wonderful expansive beach with a lovely beach bar and live music and themed cuisine on the beach every Tuesday and Saturday. Every moment is a blast! There are also fun activities at the resort. We enjoyed the "hat workshop" the most! We brought home not only the lovely hats we designed and painted by ourselves, but also brought home unforgettable memories from Dreams Flora. The only not-so-great experience we had was with the Unlimited Vacation Club, who claimed to upgrade us to a swim-out suite with shared pool outside, but it was actually a downgrade from the room we already had with absolutely no swim-out feature at all. So we had to request to move back to our original room. The moving from one room to another and then back was a hassle and I wish they didn't have to do that to us. But I understand the vacation club is a separate entity, not part of the resort business.

Just returned from a lovely 7 days at Dreams Flora Resort & Spa. I agree with a good bit of the reviews posted. Pros, the grounds are beautifully maintained and very clean. 99% of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Special shout out to Kenia at the Lobby bar and Edwin and Juan at the Sugar reef swim up bar. Cons, the relentless pursuit by sales staff from Hyatt the minute we arrived. I understand it's their job, but it's very overwhelming being double teamed right out of the gate. My husband and I attempted to go relax on the beach. No go, we lasted 15 minutes before being hunted again, only this time it was locals pushing everything from hair braids to photos with a parrot. Again, I understand that they need to make a living, and the beach is technically public, but I wish they were discouraged by Resort staff. The buffet was mediocre at best. The variety was decent enough, but everything was cold. Our room was well equipped, but there was a musty smell, the AC didn't go lower than 21c (69f) thankfully there was a ceiling fan, but it was still warm. The beds were not comfortable at all. The floor would have been more comfortable. The phone was broken, engineering came, fixed it only for it to stop working again.

I don’t know what I can say. This place is beautiful and the staff are so attentive and kind. The butler was amazing and was always ready to serve you. The drinks and food are amazing although I would recommend joining the preferred club for the best experience. The resort feels grand new and modern and we loved every second of it and our kids never ran out of things to do eve with the resorts own water park! 1 con that they can’t change is the amount of sargassum which is sea weed like stuff that floats on the water and stinks the place out on some days.Final conclusion, if you would like to stay? Go! it was an amazing time and creates so many new memories

Great stay. Just wonderful. The staff are so nice and accommodating, the resort is brand new and in very good condition. The resort is well taken care of. I really enjoyed my time with my family and I will definitely come back if I can! The grill restaurant is really good, churrasco was my favourite meat. You can book the Japanese restaurant with the teriyaki show that's not bad however the sushi is average. They did a lot of decorations and activities for the Halloween so that was cool for the kids. The butler service could be a plus of you have money to throw away but frankly not essential.
